Try to run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click firefox.exe: Run as Administrator).
If that doesn't solve the problem then remove the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) to do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

In the former Firefox version there was a box to click for converting YouTube music videos into HQ mp3 files. That box is no longer apparent in the new Firefox version. I went back to Ad-On s and re-downloaded the program YouTube to MP3 1.2. It says it's not compatible with Firefox 6.0. Can I reinstall the older version of Firefox?

I have a brand new I-mac and just recently added Mozilla Firefox to my browsers. I get a notice that a security update is available. When I select update, it say "connecting to update server", but it just stays on that place and never downloads the update. I can wait 5 or 6 minutes and it keeps saying "connecting to update server" but nothing else happens. I am new to Apple after saying farewell to my 8 year old Dell P.C., so everything is new to me. Once it is downloaded you need to restart the computer if it does not restart automatically. When it next starts up you should note a progress bar appearing below the Apple logo. When done the computer will restart once more. The new firmware should now be installed.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Haven't much problem with Airs around here, since they have a SSD they tend to be more reliable.
Perhaps it was a bad update, have you ran through this list of possible fixes?
Do as many as possible, starting with #1. Until the problem is resolved.
Use the boot 10.6 USB instead of the disk of course.

Help!! I downloaded the update last night, and now my phone wont even turn on!

I downloaded the update last night for my Pearl Flip, and it did the usual (turn on/turn off) during the update.
When it was finished it turned off-figured it had to reboot to take effect-now it has a new hour glass on the main screen when you open it up, and wont get past the 'app world error' reset page.
It thinks/thinks/thinks and takes me about 20-30min to get the error. I've done the reset it asks me to (mainly b/c thats the only option).
So I think it's reseting, then I get the same darn thing. HELP

Yikes...a 200 error...while the official KB for that is not presently available, the usual fix is to reload your OS...something during the update did not go right.

Firefox recommends I update for security reasons, when I click to download the update, it says "connecting to server" indefinitely.

Firefox recommends that I update for security purposes. I click to begin downloading the update and then a "downloading update" window opens. FIREFOX WONT DOWNLOAD. IHAVE WINDOWS XP PRO OPERATING SYSTEM. I REMOVED A PREVIOUS VERSION OF MOZILLA, BUT I CAN'T GET A NEW CLEAN DOWNLOAD TO START.

Check that you are using an admin account and not a limited account. If your caps lock has jammed it may be difficult to login.
Try to make sure no unnecessary applications are running when you attempt to upgrade, and also ensure Firefox itself is properly closed and has ceased,
Also say what security software software and firewalls you are using, maybe that is blocking downloads or changes to the computer. For more ideas and solutions have a read of the articles
