Every time I TRY to start firefox 18-19 I get an error message : "Firefox has stopped working" - "close the program and check online for a solution" - or - "close the program" this happens TWICE every time I try to start firefox. Eventually after a random number of tries firefox will start normaly. I am useing firefox 19.0.2 now bit I belive it started when I upgraded to firefox 18 but am not sure, it might have been when I upgraded to firefox 19 ... but it has been happening for a very long time and I cannot find any helpfule solutions online.

I get this error message whenever I try to access very large threads at my favorite debate site using Firefox vs. 4 or 5 on my desktop or laptop computers. I do not get the error using IE8.
The only fixes I have been able to find are for servers that have Wordpress and php.ini files.It works, thanks

this is the only error message that comes up, then Firefox opens up
This issue can be caused by a problem with the file c:\windows\system32\dwmapi.dll
The file dwmapi.dll is a Vista file and should not be present in Windows XP.

Not much to add. Before Firefox will open, I get this error message, "plug-in object: TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined". I click the "OK" button; Firefox opens and I have no further problems.
I use an Apple with OS v. 10.6.7 and had no problems until I downloaded Firefox 4.0That indicates you have an add-on that is not compatible with Firefox 4. For details of how to troubleshoot that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

I'm using latest version of FF (9.0.1). But when opening a certain page of my company's website, I get this error message. Just curious why FF need to depend on IE at all...
May be this is coming from our company's plugin. Nevertheless, if anybody else has encountered this weird error message, and you have found a solution, please feel free to share. Thank you.This is not a normal message from a standard Firefox installation so this is probably a problem with you company's plugin or your company's webwerver. Firefox does not depend on IE in any way.
