Firefox works too slowly. I reseted it. Updated plugins but it does not help.

It downloads pages slowly. I started it without plugins. I updated all plugins.
Sometimes Firefox shows window "Script on this page may be busy..." At status line showes "Transferring data from.."

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Firefox does not display the basic menu line File Edit View etc. How do I get this menu to show. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that does not help

I want to close the bokkmarks side bar, I have tried to open firefox in safe mode but this does not help.

This morning I opened firefox as usual and found that a sidebar for bookmarks on the left side of this page. I did not request this to open and I want it removed from my computer. I do not like the way it uses up the space on the page. I have tried to open firefox in safe mode but his did not clear it. If I can not remove this sidebar I will want to close firefox.

There should be a little 'x' Close button in the top right corner of the sidebar.
Alternatively, Ctrl + B will close it too.

Upgraded to 6.0.2, now get "Firefox had a problem and crashed". Starting in Safe Mode does not help. Now what?

Not sure what version I was running, but it worked fine but I have not been able to get it running again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results. Have followed the help pages to the point of obtaining the Crash Report... now what?
I did notice the CR seems to think I am running Windows XP but I am actually running Windows 7 (64 bit).

Unfortunately that is not really getting anywhere yet, you could become the first person to file a bug about that particular crash, but that takes a bit of time and testing.
There is a known problem causing firefox 6 to crash and that is the use of IDvault, that can give more than one crash signature, the software developers regarding ID vault are WhiteSky, and are expecting to release a fix in a few days (if they have not already done so)
Have you tried

* disabling all plugins
Does that help, either by preventing crashes or giving another recognised crash signature. You should also ensure all software is up to date, before trying adding extension software back.
The other common cause of crashes is malware, that includes a particular Trojan that is now known to crash Firefox 6. Check out [[is my firefox problem a result of malware]] you will need to do scans using software or sites with up-to-date scanning software, if you do scan for problems say what sites or software you used and the version of software used. Downgrading firefox versions rarely helps with crashes, it may help with the one specific trojan, but the security risks would then remain, potentially causing even more problems because the browser no longer crashes.

IPhone updates apps but iTunes does not

Here's the scenario:
I recently got a new Macbook Pro to replace my previous model. I manually migrated the contents over from the old to the new, including apps, music and so on. I authorized iTunes on the new Mac with my AppleID, the same one in use previously and with the iPhone. Now when I check for app updates in iTunes I rarely get any results for new versions when the iPhone shows many more updates. Apps update fine on the iPhone - for apps installed on the iPhone, of course - but iTunes doesn't really show updates (1 out of 10 at most). It's rather frustrating given not all apps I've purchased are currently sitting on my iPhone, meaning apps in the iTunes library/on the Mac are not getting updated.
Is there any way to fix this behaviour so that iTunes will reliably see app updates and download them accordingly?
- MacBook Pro 8,2 (2.0GHz quad core i7), Mac OS X 10.6.7, iTunes 10.2.x and 10.3.x.
- iPhone 3G, iOS 4.21
One step I've not yet taken that I am about to do is add all apps from the library to the iPhone in hopes that kickstarts things updating in iTunes but I'm not hopeful that will fix updates.

Update:
In what I felt to be an overly drastic move I one-by-one removed all apps from my iTunes library and downloaded each one again in hopes of ensuring there was no Apple ID issue. It took a couple days between doing that and app updates actually showing up but now iTunes is reporting updated apps in the sidebar but says there are no updates when you click the Check for Updates link.
Meanwhile, the Appe Store app on the iPhone reports software updates and grabs them fine. So obviously this issue is still in place. *** Apple?

Bluetooth Icon disappears and no Bluetooth in System Preferences. Can anyone help please. Have reset PRAM and SMC, but this does not work at all.

This issue happened randomly. I was working away and the bluetooth just disappeared. The first time this happened, I reset the SMC and it solved the issue. Now, nothing seems to work including removing the bluetooth plist file. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks.

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?

TS3212 Apple appear to have an incorrect version of my email(one letter too many) I have tried many times but there does not seem to be any simple way of correcting this. I have now given them a new hotmail address to enable me to use the apps. Ive update

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Tabs will not load sometimes unless I move the cursor or hold down an arrow button. If I close all tabs and reopen, it will work properly for a while then start doing the same thing. I've tried disabling add-ons but it does not help.

I've had this problem with earlier versions of Firefox. I am currently running the latest version which I think is 6.0.1. Firefox also is not responding a lot since the latest version update. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. Try to disable HTTP pipelining and reset all user set network.http prefs via the right-click context menu to their default values.

Aperture shuts down when in one of my libraries. It works fine with other libraries. I have "repaired" that library numerous times but it does not help. Can someone help?

One of my Aperture libraries repeatedly causes Aperture to crash and shut down. I have gone to the repair page and "fixed/rebuilt" the library but the program still crashes. Other libraries work just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am using the latest version of Aperture, although this problem began before I downloaded the most recent update. Have you tried running Aperture on this library with preview generation deferred?
If not what you need to do is press & hold the shift key as soon as you start Aperture until it is all the way up. See Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics, Defer preview generation (about 2/3 rds of the way down the page)
This won;t be a permanent fix but will tell you if there is a corrupt image in this library. Post back the results and we'll take it from there,

Middle Click suddenly stopped working. I have tried installing older versions , but that does not work. Please note I do not have any addons installed.

Firefox states I need to restart my computer because of an earlier version, but that does not help

There is a problem with the Firefox I have installed but cannot get it uninstalled. Each time I try to download the complete version, I get a message that says I need to reboot to finish uninstall of previous download. I have rebooted many times, but always receive the same message.

Run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator). 
If that doesn't help then do a clean reinstall. 
Download a fresh copy of Firefox ([http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html]) and do a reinstall of Firefox on top of the current version. 
If that still causes the same problem then do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder.
