Fireworks 8 on Vista Has Stopped Working

Question

HI all,
I recently installed Macromedia Firefox 8 on my HP 6720s. For the first 2 or 3 uses I didnt get any error but somehow, I dont know what went wrong, anytime I start the program, i get "Firefox has stopped working"

I uninstalled and reinstalled again, i get the same error. I created a new user account and i get the same error. . .

Hey Guys
I was having the same problem with CS3 crashing when more than 1 file was open - as has been said using a local printer was the fix.
*HOWEVER*
A better way to do this, for all you guys with network printers - is to "trick" photoshop into thinking your network printer is a local printer! To do this depends on how the printer is shared - if it is a proper network printer that is accessible through the IP address, just add a new printer in windows but for the port you have to go to "Create a new type of port" and choose TCP/IP Port from the drop down list, enter the IP address in the next screen then choose your driver and you're off! This method worked perfectly for me.
If it's shared through another computer (IE the printer is connected to the other PC then that PC connects to the network to share it) you should be able to do it by following the steps above but instead of choosing TCP/IP Port choose Local Port, and for the port name enter \\computername\printername (changing computername to the name of the PC (as you would connect to it through network places, and printer name to the share name of the printer, ie what you see when you browse to the computer that is sharing it). Note I did not test with this method, but theoretically it should work.
