Fireworks öffnet keine Illustrator Dateien

Hallo,
ich nutzte die Creative Cloud.
Ich hatte vorher die Creative Suite CS3. Diese habe ich vollständig deinstalliert und anschließend die einzelnen Programme wie vorgegeben aus der Cloud installiert.
Seit der Installation kann ich in Fireworks CS6 keine Illustrator CS6 Dateien und Elemente öffen.
Fireworks bringt bei jeglichen Import, Öffnen, Kopieren und Einfügen...etc. von Illustrator Elementen und Dateien, Bitmaps oder Vectoren, den Fehler:
"Die Datei konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Es ist ein interner Fehler aufgetreten."
Ich habe zusätzlich ein wacom intuos installiert.
Kennt jemand dieses Problem?
Woran liegt das und was kann man machen?

welche Eigenschaften haben die Daten? Transparenz? Fw unterstützt keine ai-Transparenz.

Hallo @ all,
den Photoshop Ordner unter %username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 habe ich bereits mehrfach gelöscht - anschl. System neugestartet
doch jedesmal nach einer gewissen Zeit macht Photoshop wieder Ärger und man kann keine Dateien mehr öffnen (über Datei-Öffnen), Speichern, Drucken.
Auch eine neue DATEI erstellen verweigert PS. (alle anderen Progs wie Illustrator, InDesign etc. funktionieren wie gewohnt).
Das Problem trat am Montag zum ersten mal auf ohne das etwas am System geändert wurde (keine Installation, kein Update nichts).
Nachdem ich mich ein paar Stunden damit rumgeschlagen habe, hatte ich das System neu aufgesetzt..
Doch leider fängt das gleiche HEUTE wieder an. Nicht einmal das Löschen des Roaming-Ordners sowie Neustart hilft regelmässig. Bis zu 4mal muß ich das mittlerweile
machen, damit meine Grafikabteilung wieder arbeiten kann.
Es ist sonst keine weitere Software installiert, ausser Office 2013 - Symantec-Antivieren hab ich auch mal "ausgeschaltet" - Win ist auf dem neuesten Stand
Alles ohne Erfolg. Man kann fast schon die Uhr danach stellen.
Hat hierzu jemand eine Idee, an was das liegen könnte???
Über jegliche Hilfe bin ich/wir dankbar.

EDIT: jetzt hab ich gelesen das evtl. ein WACOM Treiber probleme macht - bei uns hängt ein Cintiq 21UX an der Maschine - hat davon evtl. jemand schon einmal gehört?!

Since the problem manifests as a failure to open files, my thoughts go to the antivirus software you are running.
I have not heard good things about Symantec anti-malware software in a long time.
Also, it's possible some kind of corruption in Photoshop's memory space could yield the kind of failure you're seeing. Such corruption often comes from display dirvers.
What video card do you have? Have you checked to see whether your display driver is up to date with the latest released by the maker of your video card? You would go to nVidia.com, AMD.com, Intel.com, etc. for that.

Habe mir den DNG-Converter V8.3 von ADOBE runtergeladen und installiert (Installation musste ich merkwürdigerweise zwei mal starten. Fehlermeldung: "...ist keine 32bit-Anwednung" - Ich nutze noch WIN XP :-( ). Dann gleich 2-3 Bilder damit convertiert und dann mit (bereits offenem) ELEMTNS 12 mit Camera RAW versucht zu öffnen. Ergebnis: Fehlermeldung: "....diese Version wird von ELEMENTS 12 nicht unterstützt". Nun habe ich Elements noch einmal zugemacht und wieder geöffnet und es nochmal versucht ... siehe da, der zweite Anlauf hat funktioniert. (Ausführliche Beschreibung damit anderen Usern das ggf. hilft.)

Fireworks, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Hello,
I was not sure whether to post this in the Fireworks,
Photoshop, or Illustrator forums. The horrid design of the other
two forums, and the fact that no matter how much it was referenced
I could not find an Add Topic button (and yes, I was logged in)
brought me here.
The new replacement suite for Studio, CS3 Web Premium,
includes Photoshop and Illustrator. I know that Fireworks and
Illustrator both do vector graphics, but other then that, what is
the difference between the three? Why would I use all three when I
could get along with just one-is there a specific use for each?
Which might be better for creating a website comp?

Yeah, the old Adobe forums are pretty nasty, aren't they? :)
These forums are pretty slow, though -- another reason some people
prefer using the synced newsgroups all around instead.
No problems posting it here, just don't be surprised if
everyone says Fireworks is the best. ;) Actually, each tool is
unique, best at what they do.
Everyone will tell you this, but it's really true: the best
way will be to download the trials of all three and give them a
spin. What sort of stuff do you want to do? Pick something, and try
to do it in all three, you'll find out which is better for the task
pretty quickly. Don't just throw some random shapes and text
around, that won't really give you a good feel of how a real
project would go down for you. Pick a practical project and do it
in all three.
That said, here's a summary of all three, in my opinion:
Illustrator: Advanced vector editing application, little to
no raster editing support. Powerful but very high learning curve
for most people. Illustrator targets print work, and is rarely used
for web work, though you can. It has many print specific features
that are meaningless for the web, and sometimes confusing and
misleading for web designers.
Photoshop: Advanced raster editing program, little vector
support(sometimes criticized as having no "true" vector support).
Powerful image manipulation abilties, has a medium learning curve,
but a lot of efficiency deficiencies in my opinion which can make
it frustrating to many beginners. Photoshop was originally for
print(and still is) but has developed some decent web oriented
features(exporting, slices, etc). However, it's duel print/web
feature set can get in the way of both when you are dealing with
one medium or the other.
Fireworks: Hybrid vector and raster editing application,
exclusively for web design(not print). Has all the basic features
of vector editing and raster editing combined in one very coherent,
seamless environment, but doesn't have the most advanced vector
features found in Illustrator or the most advanced raster features
found in Photoshop. Pretty easy learning curve. Fireworks is
designed especially for web and has been since the start, so has
many web centric features making it very focused for web design and
overall very intuitive to most web designers. For instance,
Fireworks is the only application of the three that has support for
multiple page documents, which is really useful for web design.

Copy paste from Fireworks/Photoshop to Illustrator. not scaled correctly.

Hi, I have an image thats originally about 800 x 1000 pixels. When I copy (ctrl + C) it from photoshop or fireworks in to illustrator. Its scaled very small, and stretching it becomes pixelated. shrinking it makes it have jagged edges, and I cannot for the LIFE of me find a smoothing tool, or an "optimize" image option like dreamweaver has. Honestly, what the hell? The view is set to 100%. The picture should be 100%!!!! I dont want the program scaling images for me without my permission, and no obvious option to stop that from happening. It also happens even when i save it and open it through illutrator
The size of the document is letter size, if that even matters.
I'm wondering if I'm just an idiot, because this has to be a post that I should never have to make as this type of thing should be standard.

I believe its 300, thats what photoshop says when i click file info.

CS3 öffnet keine RAW-Bilder der Nikon D700

Gibt es von Adobe ein Plugin für CS3, damit ich Bilder der Nikon D700 im RAW-Format öffnen kann?
Von Nikon selber gibt es kein Plugin, das Programm NX2 will ich nicht verwenden.

Ich habe ein ähnliches Problem. Seit kurzem werden bei mir keine NEF Dateien gespeichert (zumindest kann ich keine mehr sehen), stattdessen sehe ich zwei gleich große JPG Bilder drin - _DSC3112.jpg und gleich daneben _DSC3112 (2).jpg
In der Einstellung ist ganz klar RAW+Fine ausgewählt. Woran leigt das.
Ich habe noch gemerkt, dass wenn ich D700 an PC anschliesse, dass ich weiterhin die Kamera zur verfügung habe, sprich, ich kann damit weiter fotografieren. Früher war diese Option nicht möglich, im Display der Kamera war "PC" zu sehen und man konnte keine Fotos schiessen während man an den PC angeschlossen ist.

damit meine ich, in der Kamera ist es "NEF+Fine" unter jedem Bild zu sehen, ich kann die NEF Dateien auf den PC nicht sehen

CS3 erkennt keine mpeg4-Dateien

Hallo Forum,
habe CS3 mit Qicktimeplayer installiert. Mein CS3 erkennt aber keine mpeg4-dateien, muss ich etwas einstellen ? Mit Qicktime kann ich jede Datei anschauen. Bekomme immer die die Fehlermeldung Datei ist beschädigt / wird nicht unterstützt. Wer weiss hier bescheid ?

Habe Adobe Premiere Pro CS 3 , die Daten Dateien sind von einer HD Videokamera von einem Bekannten von mir. Komischerweise habe ich sie schon mal anschauen können, aber jetzt geht irgendwie nichts mehr.

Kann plötzlich keine PDF-Dateien mehr öffnen

Hallo,bin verzweifelt,da ich keine PDF-Dateien mehr öffnen kann,
wollte Adobe Reader löschen um es dann wieder neu zu installieren.
Sowohl das Löschen ging nicht zu Ende,weil immer wieder die Info kam,das noch Ordener offen sind.Wie ich die schließen kann,für mich ein Rätsel.
Habe aber auch schon die 70 überschritten.

Welches OS?
Deinstallieren soll nicht durch löschen, sondern durch die Deinstallation erfolgen.
Wenn man etwas nicht löschen kann, weil es in Betrieb ist, hilft oft ein Neustart des Computers.

Ich bin absoluter Computer-Laie und kann mit Fachbegriffen nur wenig anfangen.
Ich hab den 9er Adobe Reader kürzlich runtergeladen.
Jetzt kann ich keine angehängten PDFs mehr öffnen!
Stattdessen geht immer Microsoft Works im word Programm auf.
Dann kommt diese als Info gekennzeichnete Meldung:
"C:/Dokumente und Einstellungen/........./Eigene Dateien/ Downloads/Kfz-MV.......pdf" kann nicht geöffnet werden.
Die Datei wird möglicherweise von einer anderen Anwendung verwendet, das Dateiformat wird von keinem der installierten
Konverter unterstützt, oder die Datei ist beschädigt.
Dann hab ich nur die Möglichkeit auf "Ok!" zu drücken oder das Fenster zu schliessen.
Was kann ich denn nun machen?
Am Besten ausführlich erklärt oder mit Link.
Ich glaub ich hab vorher irgendein wichtiges Adobe Programm gelöscht, bevor ich den 9er Reader installiert hab.
Mein Laptop ist 5 Jahre alt und Läuft nur um ins Internet zu gehen. Ich hab Windows XP SP 2.
Würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ihr mir helfen könntet!

Instead, always Microsoft Works in word program. Then comes as Info labeled message: "C:/documents and installations/ ......... /own files/ ....... Downloads/Kfz-MV pdf" cannot be opened.

Fireworks instead of Illustrator?

Hi, we've been using Illustrator CS3 here for web page mock-ups for a while now. It initially was a bit buggy, but things have gotten better. Most people don't realize it has the same slicing capabilities of Image Ready. But we really use style sheets and swatches to keep things really consistent throughout our layouts.
But our current developer is not familiar with Illustrator and would prefer Fireworks or (yikes) Photoshop to receive comps from us. As there will be very minimal images exported from these designs (most everything will be styled with CSS), we would really like to avoid using Photoshop as it is not vector/object based and makes doing full page design layouts way more complicated than it needs to be.
So that kind of leaves Fireworks. I do have experience with Fireworks, starting with v.2 or v.3 a LONG time ago. But I haven't used it in a couple years now that we've been using Illustrator. So I downloaded the latest version (CS4) to give it a try and see how things have progressed. So far I'm not too impressed.
A couple questions/concerns we have about Fireworks:
- My first reaction was how sluggish it is. Then I read a post here about it being really bad on a Mac. Are we pretty much stuck here (we're a Mac-based design studio)?
- One feature I always hated, all the way back to early Fireworks, was the silly swatches panel. Are there any extensions available (even commercially) that closer emulate Illustrator or InDesign's swatches pallettes (ie - you can see exactly what name or value a swatch is instead of guessing at a tiny square; if you select an object, it's swatch will be highlighted so you know which is being used; and you can quickly edit a swatch to change colors sitewide)?
- To keep all of our typography consistent and easy-to-update we're using paragraph styles in Illustrator. I tried making a 'style' for some selected type in FW, but it just doesn't seem to be applying when I try to style another chunk of type. And I see no easy way to see what parameters are attached to the style or how to change something on it quickly (say you wanted all your 'H3 Headlines' to be 1px larger and red for instance). Any options or extensions here??
Thanks! All our developer really needs to get from these are general sizes and spacing of objects, exact colors being used, and all typographical style information so he can build the CMS template we need. Any images needed can be done one-off in Photoshop if necessary, and there won't be too many. All layout/design will be done with CSS, which can be easily and accurately hand-coded.

up in Fireworks, it shouldnt be a problem you working in Illustrator.

Placing a png logo created in Fireworks cs5 into Illustrator cs5

I am trying toplace a logo into illustrator. When I do it looks fine but any kind of scakeing makes it look all pixelated. I am trying to scale it down to fit onto a business card. When I do it looks just alright while the second logo (mostly test) looks great and completly scaleable. Is the somehting i'm doing wrong. I have tried copy and paste, p[lacing and opening into illustrator. I have tried wih all file formats and theyall do the same. My friend is asking for a ESP file which I can give but I want to make sure it is going to come out right before taking it to her printers. PLease help! Mahalo

I use FW for web design. But if my clients want a logo they can also put onto business card I should just create the logo in AI alltogether?
One of the longstanding "unwritten laws" of designing identity graphics (and illustration in general): Design for print first (and AI is not the only program for this); then re-purpose for web. Doing it the other way around inevitably leads to the kinds of problems you are having, and many more.
Beginners often get away with this at first with an unsuspecting client, but eventually the client finds out what he's got himself into when he encouters the need to deploy his identity graphics with the versatility that should have been built into them in the first place.
Similarly, it is far, far better to create identitiy graphics as efficiently-drawn vector graphics. You can always rasterize a vector graphic to any size needed. Creating raster images just because you are accustomed to raster "painting" and then assuming you can later automatically "convert" it to scaleable vector graphics with an autotrace feature is pure folly. Far too many beginners are deluded by this myth.

A true logo is the permanent, primary cornerstone of a business's or a product's identity. Design considerations aside, and speaking only to technical repro necessity:
Logos are designed and their master files built so as to technically accommodate all eventual uses that can be anticipated. Business cards and letterhead is just the no-brainer start. The client is soon going to need a storefront sign. He'll also need to advertise. Will your "logo" work when it has to be included in a full-color magazine ad? A single-color newspaper ad? Screen printed as a spot-color T-shirt imprint? Etched onto a giveaway pen? Embroidered onto a polo shirt? Embossed into a metal plate?
Fireworks is a fine program--for its purpose. Because of its targeted purpose, it is chock-full of features and effects that can be applied to vector paths, but which would nonetheless have to be rasterized for print. Many of those effects don't even correspond to a counterpart in PostScript programs. So you end up having to resort to rasterization and get yourself (or someone else who has to try to incorporate your graphics) into all kinds of trouble. And as we've already seen, logo design is about alot more than just print.
The same thing is true of Illustrator. Everything you draw in Illustrator can be rendered by a PostScript imagesetter. But that certainly doesn't mean that everything you draw in Illustrator is advisable for use in a proper logo.
A good logo designer always has in mind what downstream compromises he is making when he decides to include each and every element of the design--even treatments as "simple," for example, as an ordinary grad fill. Can a grad fill be rendered by cutting the logo out of plastic so as to comply with the signage specifications of a shopping mall? Such questions lead the designer to ask himself other questions: Is this design so weak that I have resorted to a stupid grad fill in an attempt to give it "uniqueness"? If so, it's time to start over.
So it's not a simple matter of which program to use. It's more a matter of which features to use. And that can be as problematic in Illustrator as in Fireworks. Moreover, though, it's about what quality logo design really is. It's alot more than just making something "look neat" on a monitor.

Windows Vorschau Illustrator Dateien

Hallo zusammen,
Wir haben folgendes Problem bei uns in der Firma:
Unsere User aus der Design Abteilung arbeiten viel mit Photoshop & Illustrator (CC2014).
Bei einigen Usern werden in der Windowsvorschau die Bilder die sie bearbeiten wollen angezeigt, bei anderen wieder nicht.
Alle Rechner haben die selbe Hardware und haben auch alle die Adobe Creative Cloud 2014 installiert.
Daher verstehe ich nicht was der Fehler sein könnte.
Kann uns hier jemand Helfen?

Das hat schlicht und ergreifend was mit der Registrierung der entsprechenden Dateihandler zu tun und ob die Dateien eingebtttete PDF-Vorschauen haben. Aber wie Willi schon sagt, drauf verlassen kann man sich eh nicht, also gleich Bridge verwenden.

Help converting Fireworks CS3 to Illustrator CS2 (vector file)

Hello,
I have a customer trying to send artwork that he created in Fireworks CS3 that I need to have in some sort of Vector file.
It appears that Fireworks CS3 can only save an AIv8 file. When doing this, it loses its shading and some (I believe) objet styles when opening the file in AI CS2.
Is there any insight on how to do this?

Wieso werden Illustrator Dateien so riesig??

Ich habe eine Illustrator Datei 4m x 2m. Darin habe ich eine verknüpftes JPG-Datei, ein paar Vektoren und etwas Schrift. Die Vektoren haben einen Schlagschatten Effekt. Wenn ich das nun als Illustartor Datei speichere, dann etsteht eine Datei von über 4 GB Größe und es dauert ewig, bis sie gespeichert ist. Das kann doch nicht normal sein, macht doch gar keinen Sinn. Die JPG Datei ist doch nur verknüpft, hat selbst nur 23 MB. Kann jemand helfen, was mache ich falsch oder wo liegt mein Denkfehler?

Eine AI-Datei mit PDF-Kompatibilität besteht aus zwei Zweigen „Forks”, einen AI-Zweig, der die Editierbarkeit in Illustrator garantiert, einen PDF-Zweig, der es ermöglicht die PDF in anderen Programmen zu verwenden.
Der PDF-Zweig beinhaltet alle verknüpften Bilder eingebettet, die Schriften und die Effekte gerastert als Bilder. Das erhöht die Dateigröße massiv. Aber es ermöglicht das Verwenden einer AI-Datei, dass sie direkt in anderen Programmen verknüpft wird, ohne dass die verknüpften Bilder und Schriften mitgeliefert werden. Es können dadurch AI-Dateien direkt ausbelichtet werden, ohne dass der Drucker Schriften oder Verknüpfungen erhält. Er darf nur nicht die AI öffnen, wenn diese Assets nicht vorhanden sind.
Nun könnte man die AI-Datei ohne PDF-Kompatibilität speichern, die würde erheblich kleiner sein. Allerdings könnte diese Datei nur in Illustrator verwendet werden, aber nie in einem anderen Programm, deshalb wird das in den meisten Fällen sinnlos sein, wenn die Dateien ohne PDF-Zweig gespeichert werden.
