Firmware 4.0735.3.0.2 for N73

I have a little problem with my Nokia N73. I update the firmware to versioni 4.0735.3.0.2 and now when i turn on my phone it ask me time and date every time.
Help me please!

Demand Firmware Upgrade for N73 to support A2DP

It is a humble request to all N73 And N73 Music Edition mobile owners to demand from nokia to give a firmware upgrade for N73 both editions so that it can supporst A2DP, since it is a very excellent phone, without A2DP support, the phone is like lifeless body.Lets sign this petition until it comes to the notice of nokia.

The next firmware for n73?

So who knows when the next firmware for n73 comes out? so I can update my phone? my current firmware is v4.0839.42.2.1.
Generally it takes 3 months to build a new version of firmware, and this one was build 27-09-2008 . so I hope that the new firmware comes very soon .

Best car kit for n73

I have just got my N73 and like it a lot - bit slow but thats no great issue.
My problem is finding a decent suitable car kit
1) I already had the parrot 3100 (could not download contacts)
2) Then bought a ck-610 works great but when receive a text the car-610 resets and the text stays on the ck-610
3) Upgraded to a ck-616 now i cannot get contacts or text messages to receive.
4)So now I am toying with a ck-7w but that says issues
ck-15w does not show battery and network etc (whats point of the screen then)
5)and now a ck-20w but does not do something i cannot remember
Trouble is I upgraded my contract for 12 months to get this phone as its suppose to be compat with carkits and yet it aint
So just what do I do for a car kit, I spoke to nokia whom have said all 3 carkits are compatible yet when i buy them and install them and find out it does not nokia say "oh ys that is a known problem"
You try getting a refund when you've had the car kit installed.

I have N73 and I am thinking of buying CK-20W carkit+LD2 navigation pack. I read that there were some compatibility issues with N73 & CK-20W+LD2. From what I found out, the CK-20W works perfectly well with N73, until you start using LD2 for navigation. It sounds like everything works fine with your N73, despite the fact that on NOKIA Europe website, N73 is marked as not compatible wih LD2 nav pack. Does this mean that you are able to make/receive calls whilst navigating without phone hanging up, losing GPS signal etc? I would be grateful if you could confirm that you are using LD2 for navigating. Can you also tell me what firmware version you have installed on your N73?

I had Kaspersky Antivirus installed. Turned off the real time protection and restarted the phone. Now the firmware update installed.
Strange thing is though that the Antivirus never produced a message that it blocked something.
Maybe this helps somebody else with the issue

Thanks for your reply Michalo. I am in India and here Apple care does not work on Sundays. I have been without my phone for the entire day. Perhaps tomorrow will bring some respite. There is not solution to "error (-1)" on any forum it seems. I found one forum which suggested use of Tiny Umbrella. Any idea about that?

Pc suite for N73

I have my machine installed with Window XP, the latest pc suite 6.85 is not supported by my system. I lost my pc suite CD which i got along with the phone. kindly suggest me a solution to get the previous version of pc Suite for N73

you can try the earlier stable version v6.83. (do a search on nokia official site to find the old download link.)

Backup for N73 restore to N95

If i have a backup for N73 using Pc-suite , can i restore it to Nokia N95 8Gb .

Hi Talal,
I strongly suggest NOT doing that. The back-up contains device specific content and settings which might affect your N95 8GB if you did a restore.

Themes for n73

I am bored with the handful themes in my handset.. i want some cool themes for N73-1(music edition)
Watever i download reads unknown file format.. I have tried (.sis) themes they all fail.. Are there any (safe) free theme providers on the net? Please make me aware...

Theme for N73

Have juz bought N73 and and error occurred during the installation of the themes for N73. Do i need to back date to 1 June whenever i wanted to install a new theme on my phone? or do nokia come out any patch to solve this problem?
