    Hi guys

    Hi @Mst2015 ,
I see by your post that after doing a firmware update on the printer, the printer displays "firmware corrupt ready 2 download". I would really like to be able to help you resolve this issue.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
I can send you that information in a private message.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
You should always do the firmware update by a USB connection.
Please let me know if you require any additional assistance.
    Have a fantastic day!
    Thank You.

I have contacted HP support with them telling me only it ismy falult for having downloaded thier firmware and that they can only give me a discount on a much bettern printer thatn I need that ould in the end cost me more than i paid for this one. They told me the issue can't be repaired but refused to pass me up the line to the supervisor who was 'unavailable" I have posted a new threadabout the 1536 but dont' much to come from it. I am currently trying to ocate my proof of purchase to see if they can extend my aranty or come up with another date for it expiration that might put me into the warranty but so far no luck.

    Hi tuohylaw,
With regards to the error firmware corrupted ready 2 download, I have included the following document 'A 'Firmware Corrupt Ready 2 Download' Error Message Displays on the Control Panel in Windows XP'. With this document it should clear the error message by completing step one. If not please follow the remaining steps.
Please let me know if this has cleared the error for you, thank you.

    Hi @Ayoubi,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that your HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP can't be recovered at all that it is stuck in Firmware corrupt ready to download. I am sorry to hear this but happy to help!
Please try a hard reset, to do so, please see this post, How to perform a Hard Reset, by @Rich1. It is important that the printer's power cable is plugged directly into the wall outlet, and not a surge protector. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
Afterwards, try the firmware update again. If the issue is still not resolved, please call our phone support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region. Country-language selector.

  • My CP1525nw had the message "Firmware corrupt - ready 2 download

My brand-new CP 1525nw displayed the error message "Firmware Corrupt Ready to Download" after I attempted to install the ePrint drivers.  I researched the issue, deleted the printer, reinstalled the driver and the firmware update will not complete.  The printer is stuck on "Erasing...".   Any ideas on how to fix this?  Windows Vista 32, USB connection.
    Thanks

Sorry. There is no solution. I had the same problem last week. The only thing what you have to is calling hp, describe the problem and if you call during the guarantee period you will get a new printer. If not, you have to buy a new one, because this device is definitely broken, they said.

  • Ready 2 download error on Laserjet pro 200 color m251n printer

I have a laserjet pro 200 color m251n printer that suddenly gives "error 2 download" can anyone profer solution on how to clear this error.
I tried using the firmware downloaded from hp site  but gives "Fatal erro 7 while erasing.
Please somebody help me. It's very urgent.

    Hi Seun1965,
I see you are getting an "error 2 download" message and can not complete the firmware update. Please complete the steps in the following document; A 'Firmware Corrupt Ready 2 Download' Error Message Displays on the Control Panel.
If the issue persists, I recommend calling HP and letting the know the issue as well as the steps you have already completed. It may be helpful to even let them know you completed all of the steps in HP document #c03109721.
If you are in Canada or US call 800 474 6836, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.
HP printers generally have a 1 year warranty from their purchase date, you can verify the warranty using the following link if you would like; warranty check. Even if the printer is out of warranty I suggest still calling HP to see if there is something they can do to help.
    I hope this helps.

  • Ready 2 download

Today I tried to update the firmware of my CM1415fnw using the HP supplied software tool for OX 10.9.4
The update download for a while, then report connection error and to try again.
Now everytime I reboot the printer I get "Ready 2 Download". I have tried to perform the factory default reset by holding down the right arrow key while power cycling the printer. (Many times).
Always flashes the menu but goes directly to "Ready to Download" on the screen again.
Tried using USB, and even performing firmware update using windows 7 machine.
The printer is 2 years old and was working fine prior to the attempted firmware update.
Called HP and they indicated I had to upgrade to a new machine for $249.
I am totaly frustrated that the HP firmware update crashed my printer and the only solution is to buy a new one.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks for the support.

Hello there @dcy99 , welcome to the forums
I have read through your post about each time you restart your printer, you see a "Ready 2 Download" message. I understand you called HP directly and the issue persists.
I just want to clarify with you, that if you have tried updating the firmware via USB and that did not work, then you would be looking at needing a new printer. If you haven't tried updating the FW via USB, please try that.
I hope that helps, have a wonderful day

Season pass notice does not always download.  It does not appear in the purchased items. I am responding to an email stating 'this week's TV show is ready for download'.  Any suggestions?

Been having the same problems all week. And am got a generic, not-at-all-helpful response from my initial inquiry with support, then absolutely no response to my follow-up requests. There seem to be a fair number of people posting this problem, so not sure why we're being ignored.
Was able to eventually download the episodes manually via the 'purchased' link, but it's about 10 more steps than normal.
Also noticed that itunes isn't recognizing my purchases at all, not just season passes. If I go to a page of a show where I buy episodes individually, it doesn't show which episodes I have previously bought like it used to.

  • TS1702 I am trying to download and app but the screen froze at the end where it said ready to download  and I was required to press OK

I am trying to download an app. but the screen on my iphone 4S has frozen when I reached the screen saying it was ready to download and I was
seeing an "OK" button to press.  Nothing happens and I can't get out of the screen.  When I shut off the phone and cut it back on and go to "apps"
the frozen screen appears again.  Any help???

Have you had an issue with a previous purchase from iTunes or has your credit card expired? Even though it is a free app, you may have to update your payment information, since you already have a credit card on file. They have to be updated in iTunes.
If none of that applies, try signing out, Restrt and sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again.
if that doesn't work, you may have to contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance.

I did get a response via email from Support, and if it makes you feel any better, the Apple guy said he had the same problem himself with his downloads! He said he had passed his complaint "up the line" and suggested I fill out the form on the Feedback site. Maybe eventually they'll change it!

  • Woolamaloo Automator Actions 1.3 now ready for download

The Woolamaloo Automator Action set, version 1.3 is ready for download. You can find the actions here:
    http://itunes.uic.edu/automator/Woolamaloo%20Automator%20Actions.dmg.zip
There are now eleven actions in the Woolamaloo set:
    Upload Items to iTunes U
Get Daily Report Logs from iTunes U
    Get iTunes U XML
Find Courses in iTunes U XML
Find Groups in iTunes U XML
Find Tracks in iTunes U XML
Find RSS Feeds in iTunes U XML
    Delete Courses in iTunes U
    Delete Groups in iTunes U
    Delete Tracks in iTunes U
Merge Track Data into iTunes U
I have made a mighty effort to fix every user interface bug I could find in the actions ... and I've made a number of tweaks I hope people will find useful (case insensitive searches, you can only specify log data searches for the appropriate days).
    In addition to a manual:

I've also includes a set of sample workflows that show how every action can be used. You can easily modify the workflows, or add to them, to suit your needs.

Hi, just a quick message about Woolamaloo for Windows and a big shout-out to Stephen Landau at CUNY for discovering the issue I'm about to describe.
Woolamaloo for Windows uses a well-established .NET method whenever it attempts to open an iTunes U URL. Essentially, Woolamaloo asks your default web browser to open an iTunes U URL (it actually does pretty much the same thing on a Mac, just in a Cocoa way) ... but for this to work, Windows has to "trust" Woolamaloo. This is not a problem when you launch Woolamaloo on a local drive ... but it can be a problem when launching Woolamaloo on a network drive. Some sites restrict what an application hosted on a network drive can do (one app opening a URL in another might look "suspicious").
So if you find Woolamaloo throws what appears to be a "security exception", check where you're running it from. If you're running Woolamaloo from a network drive, try running it from a local drive, if your site allows it, and see if the exception goes away. If not, lemme know. For my part, I will fix Woolamaloo to do something nicer than bail with an exception.
