First day on iCloud and not a fan! ... Why isn't it working. I don't mind changes only when they are improovements, but make sure it works before you make us all switch over.

I don't have a problem here, but if you look at the latest posts here there seem quite a few who are, perhaps it's location specific, you might want to add your location to your profile and take a look at some of the other threads on this topic.

It sounds like you would like to free up disk space on your computer by listening to your purchases directly from the Cloud, rather than storing them on your computer. First check the preferences setting to Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases in your iTunes preferences:
Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases
Display items purchased from the iTunes Store that haven’t been downloaded to your computer. These items have a Download button next to them.

Then you can delete all the songs in your library, and empty your trash to free up the disk space.

If you have music in your library that was NOT purchased from iTunes, this will not work for them. In order to store those songs in the Cloud and listen to them via streaming as outlined above, you would need the iTunes Match service.

As far as your iOS devices, simply sign into your accout in Settings > iTunes and App Stores and that will sync your devices to your iTunes account.

Restore from the iCloud backup - assuming that you were backing up to iCloud in the first place. If you weren't using iCloud for backup - then you are out of luck.
If you were backing up to iCloud - you have to erase all contents on the iPad in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings - before you can restore from the iCloud backup.

I called Apple and they said that they know about this problem. It's a problem with iCloud which their Engineers know about. (there was a new iCloud release, hence...) No ETA for a fix yet. I asked that this be escalated so Engineering doesn't put it at the bottom of their fix list. I talked to a Senior Advisor and mentioned to them to have QA check their regression tests as this has happened before to me (the problem just didn't take this long to resolve). I like to use green too for important stuff, so I've resorted to creating a new calendar using the normal calendar green for events going forward. They could have picked another color besides green to have this problem with and I wouldn't have been so upset. ;-)

On a mac, when you save docs to icloud, a local copy is also saved. It's saved at:
~/Library/Mobile Documents
Note that Library in the user's home folder is now hidden, so you'll have to set Finder to view hidden files.
The Mobile Documents folder has subfolder where copies of the doc/data files are stored.
If the file(s) are no longer there, then use your Time Machine backups to get copies back to the mac.

FROM DUAL;Which Outputs to:
LAST_YR_FIRST_DATE     PRESENT_DATE
6/1/2011                   6/13/2012When you give TRUNC(sysdate) It will removes the Time part of the SYSDATE.
For Ex :
TRUNC(SYSDATE) means that is 6/13/2012 which doesn't give the time part in the query.
Which takes into account the day start that is from 12:00 A.M to today midnight 11.59 P.M.

I want to implement the My First Days alone in the Life and work events for other countries. I found some notes and docs saying how to adopt the entire LWE for other countries. But i need My first days alone. Is it possible to do so?

In order to use Life and Work Events application (For Non US)..
I updated the process template id in resource definition in SPRO transaction.
Earlier it was :
URL Parameter : process.template.id=CECE64A19C8F11DAA5C1000E7FA67AEB&process.autostart=true (for US)
now I have changed it to
URL Parameter : process.template.id=CE140F51C11711D9824C000BCD45EE55&process.autostart=true (for non US)
So now I guess I am actually picking up non US application..
But now when I try to access application :

Playlists in iCloud and not "ready to play" on device

I have synched my playlists to the iphone 6. However, instead of "ready to play" they show up with an iCloud symbol, i.e. need to first loaded from iCloud before they can play. That obviously only works when on a network. Why are they not simply loaded onto the device so they can be played when not connected? They show loaded in itunes when checking space on the phone. Any solution? Thanks.

I had, before trying it in Windows 8, synced/dragged it to iPad 3 from iTunes in Mt. Lion.
Then after the Windows 8 attempt, (but wait - it gets better) when I went back into Mt. Lion it was no longer in iTunes. I guess copy pasting it from Mt. Lion disk to Windows 8 \MyMusic\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music raised some infringment?
Though I still have it on the iPad, I wanted to see it on my Mac Pro which has Windows 7, Windows 8 and Mt. Lion on it. I tried dragging it from iPad to Mt. Lion iTunes but that proved to be impossible.
I do not have iTunes in Windows 7, so I rented it again, this time in Windows 8.
