First post, looking for new Demand5 eps

Hello forum
As stated first post so keeping it simple. Where is the last Walking Dead episode (25/08) on Demand5 in Catch Up section. It has regularly been accessable by 12pm Monday since season 3 aired but no sign of it today.
I noticed the new Once apon a time and The Barrior are on and wondered if someone had forgotton to update it.
Hangnail

Don't normally add to my own posts without reply but wanted to update.
I see that channel 5 has replaced the Monday repeat with Under the Dome. Can anyone at BT confirm that this precludes them from showing The Walking Dead.
Any information, even a head scratch would be something at this point. Thank you

  • Why won't Mail won't look for new messages without opening up the app?

    Mail doesn't automatically look for new emails until I open up the app. I don't get notifications and a badge doesn't show up. I always have to open the application for it to search for new messages even though I have it set to search every minute.

    Looking for new laptop what are the differences between pro and air? Besides size. Does the air preform like the pro?

    The NEW macbook Pro and Air are EXTREMELY close in form factor
    The newest macbook Pro is essentially a larger macbook Air with Retina display and options for speed in increasing prices up to an independent graphics and quad core processor.
    both Air and new Pro now have PCIe SSD and permanent RAM.
    The Air is the lightweight portable form factor, fast to boot and shut down, but with longer battery life than any of the macbook pro in 13"
    Now the new macbook Pro and macbook Air are extremely close in form factor and nature.
    both have 802ac wifi
    both have permanent RAM, no superdrive
    both are slim profiles and SSD
    The only real differences now are (in the most expensive Pros) faster processors and quadcore processors and top end model autonomous graphics.
    ....and of course the retina display
    both are now "very good for travel"
    Other than features the form factor of the Air and Pro are VERY close now,....so now its merely a matter of features and price more than anything.
    You need an external HD regardless of what you get for backups etc.   Drop into an Apple store and handle both and make your choice based on features, such as Retina or non-retina, .... both at a distance now look like the same computer.
    The Pro weighs more, ....but nowhere near what it used to just a month ago on the older macbook Pros
    The NEW macbook Pro is a different creature entirely than the older macbook Pro, .....the new Pro is thicker than the Air, but id frankly call the NEWEST Pro a "macbook Air with Retina display" , or
    Maybe a “macbook Air PRO with Retina display”
    Instead of Air VS Pro now,.....its really a smooth transition from Air to pro without comparing say, 2 different creatures, now its like contrasting a horse from a race horse.
    Either one in 8gig of RAM (preferably)... the 4gig upgrade costs very little,  the I7 you will notice only 15% faster on heavy applications over the I5, and NOTHING on most APPS.....I5 has longer battery life.
    As you see below, the non-Retina 13" AIR is 82% of the Macbook with Retina display in resolution
    there is no magical number of pixels per inch that automatically equates to Retina quality.

    A huge internal SSD isnt a game changer for anything, you need an external HD anyway
    what you WONT READ on Apple.com etc. is that the larger SSD  are MUCH FASTER due to SSD density
    "The 512GB Samsung SSD found in our 13-inch model offers roughly a 400MB/s increase in write speeds over the 128GB SanDisk/Marvell SSD"

    You might want to update Safari to 3.12. I would empty the safari cache. (Safari>Empty Cache). Then quit Safari. System Preferences>Network>Show:Airport>TCP/IP. Insert the following into the DNS Servers box;
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
    then hit apply. Now launch Safari. You should also try powering down modem, router and Mac and power up in 2 minute sequence; modem, router, Mac.

  • Mac email account wont stop looking for new mails.

    Just recently and out of the bloom my .mac email account started acting up doing two things:
    1. It fails to receive some emails (I get some, but other I just don't. It appears to be random). I've had several people tell me they've emailed be but I've have nothing in my inbox, neither on my mac nor on mobileme.
    2. The same .mac (just to clarify I have a @mac.com account not @me.com) account does not stop looking for new emails. That little circles that goes around when you hit the get mail button; it wont stop circling.
    I've deleted the account from my computer twice and both problems are still occurring.
    This started just last week. I've never had any problem before that. I'm not running out of allocated space; I've already checked that.
    Please Help. Bothe problems are pretty annoying (specially not getting emails.

    Just to clarify the point. You do have a .me account. The .mac is just an alias now for .me
    Maybe you should set up the account as [email protected] and see if that improves the reliablity.

  • Looking for new web hosting

    I'm currently hosting my site through GoDaddy. Plain and simple, I am looking to switch from them because of the way they choose to advertise their product. I'm looking for a new web hosting company to host my site and need some help finding a good one.
    As for price, I'm looking for something in the same price range as GoDaddy. After a little research, these are the few that I've found:
    iPage
    BlueHost
    InMotion Hosting
    I'm pretty confident in my ability to choose a good one, but I just want to be sure there's nothing I'm missing about web hosting that would make it smart for me to avoid any of the above. Just a few notes about what I'm working with:
    My site was made in DreamWeaver. The entire site is 17 html pages. It just contains mostly text, some spry and some embedded video, so not a lot needed for data usage.
    If there is any other information needed for you to help me, let me know. Thanks!

    If I were you I would go check out reviews on webhostingtalk.com .  Very reliable forum for reviews and sometimes hosts like those post specials over there so you don't start off paying full price.

  • Looking for newer Mobo, like the MS-7345 Platinum P-35.

    Hello,
    I'm thinking about upgrading my P-35 MS-7345. I really like the MSI brand. I'm going on 5 years, but because of possible GPU issues (like screen ghosting, Non-responding, and timer continues to spin, even when I make a very simple video action, like adding a transition, everything freezes and hangs, to the point of rebooting.
    Some people have asked if i updraded Win7 drivers for the MSI boardw hich i'm sure i did. Some asked me to check the board for bad or damaged caps, so I checked both the GPU, and Mobo, but could not see anything.  Then someone told me it could be the Power supply...really?
     In looking at Video cards, Like the PNY Quadro 600 ($150.00) requires a PCi-E 2.0x16, which I have now, but the higher end cards like the PNY Quadro 2000, ($400.00) and others, reqiuire a PCI-E 3.0x16.
    WISHY WASHY~  Don't know if i should wait to get a new mobo, before I buy a new card, becuz it's going to be a while. I don't want to buy the Q600 DDR3 now, to be obsolete and a non-performer compared to the Q2000 DDR5, which would be more faster, then I wonder, i7, more DDR3 memory, and a new Mobo, then use a slower DDR3?  Ummmmmm.
    To be honest, I like MSI, I bought my new MSI Platinum five years ago, and love it!  I'd like to keep it if i could, but technology supercedes practicallity, with the newer atx case with front USB 3.0 (mine is only 2.0....if it's backward compatible, then fine.) I'd like to ahead of the game, but not if i'm going to go BROKE!
     With my old build, with the mobo, Intel Quad Q6600,700W Toughpower PSU, memory,hard drives, That set me back about $1200.00.
    So..... for someone like me who is not a gamer, does not overclock, wants a minimum of 32GB DDR3, 700W PSU, three SATAII hard drives, does anyone have some Mainboard choices of newer LGA 1155 or 2011 that would either of these work?
    This time, I'll need the i7 (or i5) new mobo, new DDR3 memory...up to minimum 16GB, maybe 32GB, and that's that. I'll use what I can,. or give or sell this tower and everything inside to my sister.
    I was only looking at these two for specs:
    Z77A-G43 DDR3 1600  LGA 1155 ($ 97.00)  OR
    X79A-GD65 (8D) ATX DDR3 2400 ($ 291.00)
    I know the MS-7345 Platinum is off the production, but is there a board out there that's similar to the MS-7345 P-35?  {it's just easy to set up.}

    If you already looked at X79A-GD65 (8D) and you are going for 16GB ram minimum or 32GB a Socket 2011 Core i7 would be a good choice. If you are just looking for an easy to setup system a X79A-GD45-8D would be of the same socket without any flaws but still somewhat less expensive.

    Hello all,
    I have created my first PKGBUILD for some new scientific computing libraries and corresponding examples related to my field. I am looking for input before submitting this to the authors for inclusion on their site (and possibly to the AUR if there ends up being more interest).

    I'm not using any .install file, is this something big I am missing? Again, this is my first time writing a PKGBUILD, so I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

    Thanks - I will take note for future packages, or if I end up using a non-git version. makepkg seemed to not be able to handle the zip file itself, though. If I re-hosted the source myself in a tarball it worked, but on the authors' site I could only find it as a zip.
    My main question is still about installation location, though. This typically installs itself in:
    /usr/local/ismrmrd/bin
    /usr/local/ismrmrd/lib
    /usr/local/ismrmrd/include
    /usr/local/ismrmrd/schema
    /usr/local/ismrmrd/cmake
    I was able to change this to:
    /usr/bin
    /usr/lib
    /usr/include
    /usr/schema
    Obviously this prevents cmake/FindIsmrmrd.cmake from being installed at all (not sure this is OK or desirable), It also creates the /usr/schema directory, which I don't think is really standard. Where should I put such files? Should I instead install the whole package into /usr/opt/ismrmrd? It doesn't seem big enough to warrant that, but I don't know where else to put the schema and cmake directories and the associated files. Maybe in /usr/share?

  • Looking for newer Office.qlgenerator quicklook plugin

    I am looking for a newer version of the Office.qlgenerator quicklook plugin. It displays Word documents, though very poorly. I have version 2.0, dated 2009. I am running 10.6.8.

    To the best of my knowledge, the Office QuickLook plugin is not available separately. The only way I know of to get a later version is to get a newer version of Mac OS X. If you're having problems with Word documents not appearing, though, perhaps this will help:
    http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-57355404-263/fixing-quick-look-issues-in-os -x/
    Note that even in the latest QuickLook plugin for Office, documents are not always correctly formatted. So depending on your specific issue, this may not be something you can solve.
    Regards.

  • CAN I OVERBURN ??? (strange this is the first post asking for it...)

    Hello all you Mac gurus. Today's question is:
    -> can I OVERBURN? <-
    For those who never heard the term: overburning is the use of high capacity cds like the TDK one I have here in front of me and which theoretically could give me up to 800MB or 90mins of space and time. But overburning also lets you get out more than the actual 700MBs out of the usual CD-Rom, sometimes even 15 to 20 MBs more.
    Hardware: I have a Matshita UJ-846, aka "Superdrive" that came with my brand new PowerBook 1.67GHz 17" HD.
    Apparently NOBODY asked for this before, although the word "overburn" occurs here and there in these forums.
    Frankly I think this is strange - how many films or other data do you have that just do not fit on the 700MB CDs from the drugstore? And how nice could it be to get those two or three 798MB DVD rips onto one CD instead of keeping it on your harddrive?
    BTW I tried DragonBurn - doesn't work - and also FireStarter - doesn't work either. Both tell me that my drive is not supported. But I would hate to give up.
    Thanks!
    PS: a question for those with historical memory: is it possible that Apple does not actively support overburning? It's a nice feature that a lot of pee-cees can use (even the really scrappy one my girlfriend has bought last year). So why on earth can WE not???
    PowerBook G4 17" 1.67 HD + G4 QS 867   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    Dear Don,
    thanks for your answer. As you probably know, the term "overburn" is a very common term in the Windows world. There are several softwares out there for us Mac users that allow, at least theoretically, to overburn a disk = to put a certain percentage more of data on a CD-ROM or a DVD than what the factory declares it might contain (for example Dragonburn or FireStarter).
    My issue (and thus my question) here is a different one.
    I have not been able to "overburn" yet with neither of the two above mentioned softwares, even though they both declare it would be possible.
    Perhaps I should have asked in a more specific way - so let's do it now:
    - is it possible to overburn on a Mac tout-court? Is the Mac software AND hardware environment "open" enough to do allow this? In other words: DOES APPLE at least unofficially SUPPORT OVERBURNING?
    - if it is possible, HOW do I do this, and which media can I use?
    The second question is triggered by the fact that I bought several 800MB CD-ROMs (so called "High Capacity") from TDK and SONY. Both above softwares signal that my drive is theoretically capable of overburning. But once I start the process - eg. trying to burn an .avi-compressed film of 760MB on an 800MB TDK or SONY CD-ROM - both softwares say that I have only 91 MB available on the CD. Apparently the MacOS does not RECOGNIZE the CD's full capacity.
    And, again, it seems strange to me that I am the first to ask for this. I presume a lot of people are having similar problems - and the existence of the two softwares I mentioned DO prove that there is a demand for this kind of feature.
    Thanks for an answer!

  • First turn-on for new 27" iMac Retina?

    My current iMac is 4 years old and still running 10.6.8.  Where can I find "foolproof" instructions for initiating a new 27" Retina with data transferred from current iMac? I wish not to have "cloud" storage at this time.  I've been putting this decision off until now after finding that TurboTax 2014 will not run on my current iMac!

    When you first boot up your new Mac it will ask if you want to transfer your files, etc. at this time.  This is the easiest time to do that.  Just be sure you have a TM drive connected or other suitable device.  I've done this several times and no issues.

    Hi,
    I need to find out all calls for a maintenance plan of scheduling type- 'New Start' and Status- 'Called'. How to find this using tables.
    For 'New Start' scheduling type probably table field and value is MHIS-TERMA = 'N'. There are different statuse in this table but I am not able to identify the status 'called'. Also what is the field MHIS-ZAEHL(Maintenance package number) for?
    Thanks,
    Vimal

    Taken from the standard IP10 program:
    * possible status combinations
    * TSABR - Scheduling status: planned date called
    * TSVBT - Scheduling status: call outstanding
    * TSENQ - Scheduling status: call horizon not reached
    * TSENM - Scheduling status: stopped manually
    * TSTAT - Sceduling status
    * TSABR   TSVBT   TSENQ   TSENM   TSTAT
    *   X       -       -       -       A     called with order
    *   X       -       -       -       -     called without order
    *   -       X       X       -       -     on hold (TSENQ), due (TSVBT)
    *   -       X       X       -       F     on hold, due and fixed
    *   X       -       -       -       X     skipped
    *   -       X       X       X       -     blocked
    *   -       X       X       X       F     blocked
    *   X       -       -       -       -     LRMDT <> 0, completed

  • Java.util.Date deprecated methods, looking for new ones

    Hi,
    I can't find anywhere.
    I'm looking for Date methods, exactly like
    getYear();
    getDay();
    but i don't want them being deprecated.
    I want to get an INT out of a Date (Year, Day, ...)
    please give me a link, name of a fucntion or something.
    Thanks

    Look at the API docs. It says that you have to use the methods in java.util.Calendar instead.

  • Tired of Digi CoreAudio - Looking for new interface

    Yes, I have spent too much time dealing with pops & clicks and Digi CoreAudio totally pooping out, especially with VSL. I want to simply dedicate the 192 interface for Pro Tools and find another, separate interface soley for Logic.
    Also, all the FW connectors on the G5 are currently used with various hard drives. Should I even think about USB or stay with FW?
    I will need 8 analog inputs and outputs to accomodate 2 mics, stereo cue feed and 2 analog compressors.
    Any advice out there?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jack

    John,
    You're absolutely correct, that would be the best choice technologically speaking.
    However, I neglected to say that I would be doing the final mixing in Pro Tools out the 192 interface. I would choose not to spend as much money on the Logic interface as a 192 would cost since I only write and orchestrate within Logic.
    For example, I looked at the Focusrite Saffire but it didn't have enough line level i/o's to handle looping a pair of stereo compressors and a pair or stereo outputs each to a cue mix and my monitoring box.
    I'm really looking for something that has decent quality converters, 8 line i/o's and a reasonable price to handle composing.
    I'm hoping that there is something like this out there.
    Thanks,
    Jack
