can anybody give me direction to get report of modelwise first date of production.
Means i shall give the list of material and required output is date of first material production

Hi,
i hope you are using Modelmix in production line in REM. Inthat case for every material u should have planned order AM i correct. If so u can use Table PLAF .
if u give your material list here, u will get order start date and finished date (see the fields PSTTR,PEDTR). u can sort ur planned order based on date.

Tecra Battery Information Tool - Cycles and Production Date

Hi everybody,
I am searching for a Battery Tool, which reads out the whole Battery information. Aspecially the Production Date, First used Date and charging cycles. Is there a tool available by Toshiba or another Freeware tool? Is there another possibility to read that information?
Generally, does the Toshiba Battery capture this information? I only know the possibility to watch all this information from IBM, they use the BatteryMaximiser, which shows all the info. I have been searching the web but did not find anything. Please help.

Hi,
I need the information for an exact classification of the Battery. You do not get enough information about the Battery condition in the normal Power Management or in the Power Saver. There are tools which show the original and the available Battery capacity, but it is not possible to say anything about the remaining lifetime of the Battyery. So the information is quite important for me.

Export / Backup all the production data

Dear Experts,
Thanks for your attention!
Due to we have some upgrading issue in our production system. We plan to re-install the GRC AC SP10 in PRD.
We have go-live for half a year, there are around 500 requests in PRD, all these transaction data need to be export / backup before re-installation.
Could any one give us any advice?

Hi,
This will be handled by BASIS team, you need not worry. Once the data was restored you need to amke sure all the production data was avilable with configuration settings, audit trial, all the requests data.
If this was first time you are performing, better check out restore on non-production server and identify any issues and resolve and then proceed onto production.
Backup and restore will be done only by basis and documents avilable in market place, also that was dependent on your DB type.

Warehouse stock with production date of batch

Hello,
Can somebody tell me any report where user can see warehouse stocks along with production date of a batch. User wants to do FIFO while doing inventory transactions. And user wants to first transfer oldest produced batch first.

Thanks for your response. LX02 shows only GR date for quant- for certain quant GR date is updated as todays date if some stock transaction is done for that quant.
User wants report
He will then be able to move oldest stock based on production date. Example quant has GR date as 24th Feb 2011. But its production date is 24th Feb 2010. So ideally this stock should be moved in FIFO method based on production date.
To summarise, I require standard SAP report stock in LX02 as well as production date/receiving date of a batch in quant.

First delivery date change at the time of PGI

i have one query , i have fixed in house production time=1 days, planned delivery time10 days in MRP-2 views .Suppose i create one sales order on current date the first delivery date will pick the date ,(current date10 days). but user wants to change the first delivery date at the time of PGI as per their need, as it may be before or after the required delivery date.
HOW TO CHANGE THE DATE.

dear expert
system is not allowing to change the required delivery date as sujjested by you. i have one fg material say 'X' its planned delivery time is 10 days, availibilty check -02.while creating sales order for the above fg material system will pick (current date +planned delivery time), say current date 20.10.2010 & pdt-10 days, syatem will pick 30.20.2010.
but after go to va02 it is not allowing to change the delivery date, but it can happen at any time as business needs this.
kindly resolve this issue with proper logic.

First delivery date on Sales Order

Hallo Gurus,
I have this problem:
I have a sales order item which first delivery date is 10.01.2011 (the order is to be settled on a production order, which confirmed release date is 10.12.2010).
If I try to modify first delivery date, I get this this situation:
Del. date             Order q.ty           Conf.q.ty
10.01.2011                  0                       3
15.01.2011                  3                       0
While I want confirmed quantity on 15.01.2011 (the date I enter manually).
Can anybody help me, please?

this is because of basing on the Material Availability Date these schedule lines splits into parts or you will get one or more schedule lines.
try RE-ATP check and confirm the same.
please dont enter manually because system will generate two requriments considering one automatically and manually which you have given.

Any ways to restrict the product data thorugh the Input schudled ...
For Example : If there enter the product data in the input schulded , that data is not be updated.....

Hi Sriram,
By filtering, I meant to use a filter based on a property of that product dimension in the evdre's memberset.
Create a property, lets say as, Active. Use Y as the products that are active for this year.
Use this property Active in the memberset as BAS(Parent) AND ACTIVE=Y in the evdre's memberset of the input schedule.
So, now those products wont even appear in the input schedule in the first place. So the user wont enter any values for that product. You have to do this filter in all input schedules using the product dimension.
The second way is the usage of workstatus. In this approach, you allow the input schedule to expand and the users will be able to see it.The problem here is, you have to lock all the possible combinations for workstatus settings, which is a lot of effort to maintain, everytime you want to lock a single product.
I would prefer the first way.

Controlling batch production date when using PI sheets

Hello,
The batch production date for some products is first entered at process order release. However, the GR is done using PI sheets. The GR entry via PI sheets takes the current date as the manufactured date and overwrites the old batch production date in the batch
Does anyone out there know if there is a way to control this so that old production date is not overwritten with the GR entry date?

For this you need to use the setting..Batch classification in foreground for the movement type. Do the setting in OMJJ.

OIM 9.1.0.1 Installation stuck at "Finalizing virtual Product Data Registry

Oracle Database is installed on server and I will be connecting to that one while installing OIM
I installed WebLogic Server 10.3.3 on my machine,started Admin Server
Then I tried to install OIM 9.1.0.1.
But Installation is not getting complete.
Its stuck at this point.

One more thing I would like to tell you that When I specify the location of jdk(i.e C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdk160_18), it gave me error
"The Selected JDK Version is not supported by Oracle Identity Manager"
Oracle isentity Manager may not function correctly if you continue installation with this unsupported version of JDK.
Do you want to poceed with this unsupported version.?
So I installed JDK 1.5 on my machine ,gave path of JDK1.5,It also gave the same error
Then tried with JDK 1.6,then SDK EE 1.6......but all gave the same errors.
So I finally I use the one came with WebLogic server i.e C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdk160_18
and on prompting of following error

First shipment date of a particular material

Hi all,
I would like to know if there is a transaction or table where I could find the "First Date of Shipment" based on Material Code.
I need it to find whether that material is new or not. Also we can build the first arrival date by looking at "First Date of Shipment".
Once a material is considered new, the u201Cnew item indicatoru201D should remain true for a period of three years. Each week, a process needs to run that looks at the material master data (First Arrival Date) and compares that with the current date to check if three years has passed. If three years has passed, then the u201Cnew item indicatoru201D should be set to False.

But when i check forr the function module it shows Active. ('YLISTE_KENNZAHLEN'--- copied form standerd )..

Error - Update Product Data in Solution Manager

Hello,
We are currently downloading the Enhancement Package 4 in SOLMAN via Maintenance Optimizer, however, after choosing the Technical Usages in step 2.1, it shows an error in step 2.2 (Select OS/DB Dependent Files):

Has anyone encountered the same problem? Would it be fine to continue on the next step after selecting the files which you need for your operating system-database combination.

Extract from this guide for this problem:
Make sure that you update the product data in SAP Solution Manager. This is described in SAP Note 1277035 which is referenced from the collective SAP Note 1122966. If you do not update the product data, you might get an error message after the stack calculation. The message text explains the problem in more detail.

Hi,
You need to activate shelf life expiration check in T.Code OMJ5 for movement type 101 and also plant.
This will activates the entry of Shelf Life expiration/Production Date at the time of goods receipt.
If you are using std. SAP Characteristic (LOBM) for Manufacturing Date,Best Before Date and Goods Receipt Date then the value of this characteristic will updates automatically in Batch ,depends on your goods receipt data.

I checked under 11i $APPL_TOP/admin directory, I can see only one izuprod.txt file apart from applprod.txt.

does anyone have an idea, where I can look up the production date of a MacBook Pro? I can't remember when I bought it...

Try this site as well. Paste in your Macs serial number and it will reveal all kinds of info about it including exactly where is was assembled. You can get the serial number from System Profiler. Cheers!

First Aquisition date on Asset Master record

Hi,
Please can anyone help with how to change the first aquisition date on the Asset master.
The user had wrongly entered 31.12.2010 as the Asset Value date on the original acquisition posting and so the asset has 31.12.2010 as the first acquisition date.
The original acquisition document was posted 30.06.2010 and the intention was to start depreciation on 01.11.2010.
However, we are unable to do this as the system is assuming that the asset is not live in Asset accounting till the first aquisition date of 31.12.2010 .
As a way out, I also tried to do an intracompany transfer (ABUMN) to a new asset using a value date of 01.11.2010 but the system issues an error message "Posting not possible (Value date earlier than capitalization date)"
Please help!!!

Hi,
ANLA-ZUGDT, ANLA-ZUJHR and ANLA-AKTIV you can not change in the standard and it is not supported by SAP.
You have to create a small ABAP.
Please test it first on a testsystem.
