First Question? Identify

First question so I can be sure I am in the right place.
I have a 60GB iPod, color I hope.
The Serial number is jq5346yfsaz.
I had to buy a new computer, I have all on my files in iTunes but I can’t get the iPod to sync. When I tell it to erase and sync it comes back and says it can’t find the file.
Anyone want to tell me if I am in the right group and what I should do.
I see a “download” that should make it work but it wants me to be sure of what I have.

If you've imported your library from the hard drive of your old computer it is possible that some of your files have restricted security permissions. e.g. they were marked as private to your old user account. Right click on your music folder and select properties. Hopefully you have a security tab in there. From this you should be able to grant yourself full access to all files & subfolders. Windows may take sometime to apply these settings to all your files.

How can I delete the first question, which is still there, that I ever asked in this community support, and that I have already had answered.

The asking of questions and responding to answers on the support pages is a bit more complicated than I think it should be. The first question I ever asked was answered by a community member, but when I go to ask other questions, that first question is still there. Somehow I bypass that at times and get another question in, as right now. But why does that first question remain? I thought I said in the answers that my question had been answered, and replied to the person who answered it with my thanks.

I was not talking about the questions that are in the question and answer section. I mean the question that I keyed in when asked for a summary of my question in one sentence, before it ever gets posted. You are right, of course, that questions and answers from someone else can be helpful to a lot of people.

Published Captivate 6 project freezes on slide immediately before the first question slide

I am running both CP6 and CP7 on Windows 7.
I am still working on projects created with Captivate 6 in Captivate 6. However, since installing CP7, any projects that I edit and publish with CP6 freeze up on the slide just before the first question slide.
Since I have only begun experiencing this issue since CP7 was installed, I am assuming that it is something to do with the fact that i have both versions (6 and 7) installed.
The only solution I have found so far is to open and publish the project in CP7, but this is not ideal as the projects I am working on in CP6 are new versions of ones already published in SAP LSO and I am concerned that publishing new versions of my courses from a different CP version will cause issues in LSO.
Any ideas why this might be happening? Ideally, I would prefer to continue to use CP6 for existing projects and only use 7 for new projects.

Have you created those projects in CP 6 from Scratch?
Can you check the complete version of CP 6 (Help > about Adobe Captivate), it should be 6.0.1.240 or 6.1.0.319.
Can you test with a blank new project in CP 6 after running it as Administrator (Right Click on CP 6 icon, then select run as admin).

you will need to do a hard wipe or remember the password hard wipe can be found on youtube how to. but this will erase all data

First Question, is this forum only in english?

I use Adobe Creative Design Web Premium Suite CS 6.0 on my computer here.
I have the second license installed om my Notebook at home.
Now I become a new very fast WIN 7 Computer and I would install CS 6 before I work with this computer in 1..2 Weeks on this new Computer - without deactivate first here on my working Computer.
Is that possible?
Par example I install on my new computer CS6 with the activation Nr., then I become a message I can't install before i deactivate one license....???

First Answer: No, the forums are not only in English language, but they are supported by a majority of people that do speak the English language. If you look you will see an option to "Translate" which can sometimes be used to translate a posting to a different language. I say "Sometimes" because sometimes it is broken and will not work and sometimes it will translate something to a form that is hard to understand.
As far as your activations go, you are only allowed two activations at any given time. So if you have two already activated then you need to deactivate (Help -> Deactivate) one of them in order to activate yet another machine.

My iTunes is asking me to fill in 3 questions but when I tap on the first question the pop up screen stays blank!!! Any help...

I'd give these troubleshooting steps a try, they're for when your iPad appears frozen or unresponsive:
If the device is unresponsive or certain controls aren't working as expected, try restarting
To turn off the device, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Slide your finger across the slider to turn off the device.
To turn on the device, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), try resetting
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds.

First question didn't post: URL SUFFIX not working....

I have been using the add-on URL SUFFIX for years.
I haven't changed any settings. I used to be able to type into the URL bar, AOL and it would add the necessary www. and .com at the end.
Any site that I enter, be it Sears or Bravotv or what have you, I automatically get a search page, with what I'm looking for as the first answer, but in the Url bar, something with Google and a few + signs and greyed out areas now show.
I have the latest version of Firefox for Mac, and all of my plugins and add ons are up to date. Also, my Firefox updates are current.

add - on called BROWSE BY NAME 1.1 for Firefox, allows you to type into the url bar, without taking you to a google search page.
I just added it and tried it and it works great. Solved my problem on my own . WOuld have deleted the question but I can't figure out how. :)

Hi everybody, I've been lurking here for the past month or so, but I finally created an account today because this week has been a big deal for me, and I have a question which you guys may know the answer to. Little bit of background knowledge. I'm a rising second year student, and as far as credit is concerned, I've only had one. This card would be the Wells Fargo College Card. I started off when I turned 18 with a $500 limit, and it was increased this spring to $800. During the summer I decided to shop around on banks for my checking, and decided to go with PNC. I applied for their CashBuilder card, but was denied for the typical student reasons (insufficient credit history, loan balances too high, etc.). It did give me a credit report out of it at least (learned my Experian is 722). Anyway, in the last month, I learned that I have the chance to study abroad in France this upcoming spring, so I began research on a card with no foreign transaction fees. I became engrossed in learning about all the different banks, cards, and options not just for my time as a student, but for (what I thought) would come after graduation. I settled on the Discover Chrome and Capital One Journey for the immediate future. Discover is clearly my favorite (most of what I buy is gas / eating out), but the acceptance in France is minimal, so I needed the Journey too. I was instantly approved for both. Don't know how much my CL on the Chrome is, but my Journey gave me $2,000. This seemed really high to me, considering I have only had one card, for just over a year, which is only at $800. I slept on this for a couple nights, and decided that I was too curious on whether or not I should have tried for the Capital One Quicksilver first. To test this, I decided to apply for the Chase Freedom (a card that I planned on applying for next summer), just to see if I could get a 'big boy' card. I was instantly approved for $2,500! I was surprised, shocked, amazed, etc!!! Then I got even more curious. I now had a great rotating category card, but what if I could get (in my opinion) the best flat cashback card out there: the Citi CashBuilder. I had heard stories about how you need excellent credit, and years worth of history, so I figured this would be the card to get after graduation. But, I decided to try now, because why not. My score can take the pulls now since I don't plan on applying for anything huge. So I pulled the trigger, and was instantly approved for $1,500!!!! Again, I was shocked. So this week has been great to say the least. But, I can't help but kick myself for applying for the Journey, when it seems obvious to me that somehow, I could have had a pretty good shot at the QuickSilver. So now I get to my question. What are the chances for me to change the Journey to a Quicksilver before December. I know Capital One gives an automatic credit limit after 5 months, and that in some cases, you can upgrade that early, but would it be possible to do it sooner? If I wait until my 5 months, that gives a very short time for me to actually receive the card which I would desperately need. Also, I'm wondering just how high PNC's standards are for credit. It seems really odd that I could get a $2,500 CL with Chase (who I've had no relationship with) but couldn't get even a small limit with PNC who I migrated my checking to.

I have the Journey card, and shortly after I was approved for the Venture and Quicksilver. Check their pre-qualifier and see if either comes up for you. I know the Venture has no foreign transaction fees and it starts with high limits. But I will say my Journey card grew as well; I started with 1k and they auto increased me at 5 or 6 months to 5k. Plus soon we can combine their cards, so I would stick with the Journey for a little while and just go ahead and app for the Venture or Quicksilver.

I want to test my design by appling inputs to the FPGA and watching the output
so how to apply predefined synchronous inputs that are synchronized to the my design clock

What supporting hardware are you using with your Xilinx Spartan 3A FPGA? The only NI hardware that the Xilinx Spartan 3A FPGA is found in are the sb-RIOs and the cRIO-9072 and cRIO-9074.

Booting problem - first question mark folder and now grey screen

Hi all,
I'm having problems with my Macbook booting.
Yesterday it worked fine until I tried to open an old Excel file, then all became extremely slow, but anyway I was able to shut it down properly, or at least this was what I thought.
The next time I tried to turn it on, a flashing question mark forder appeared instead of the apple. Then I tried various solutions I've found in forums, like turning on while holding down shift button like in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455 (nothing happens), the option botton (the cursor appears, but bootcamp does not start), and command+V for verbose mode (nothing).
Anyway now if I turn it on nothing appears, neither the question mark folder, just the grey screen.
I know that everything suggests that my HD is dead, but I don't really see the reason why it should have done so...

A flashing question mark can mean several things. One, the hard disk disk is failing. Two, it means that when you boot your MacBook, it can't find a System Folder to boot from.
Try booting while holding down the Option key. That should prompt the Startup Manager window so you can select your startup disc.
If that doesn't work... grab your install disk and check the hard drive for errors.
Insert the installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger and later) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
The fact that you can't boot in Safe Mode (shift key) is not a good sign...

Well, I just asked a question about bookmarks - they are lost after updating Firefox. Now can't even find them anywhere. My computer switched to Yahoo! and I want to use original Yahoo. Strongly dislike new toolbar - where is print, etc.? I can't get back to a link for my original question now, so please answer all of this here.
I really just want plain old Yahoo.
I want things like print on my toolbar.
I need my bookmarks back.
Thank-you. I need step-by-step directions; please don't just tell me to look at the Yahoo! site because I have and can't figure out how to get this stuff.
