First time Full Update Error - a strange phenomena

Hi Gurus,
There is a peculiar phenomenon that I am facing. There is a Z Extractor which brings in data from a Custom Table and a standard table. It uploads in Full Update mode to a DSO.
On few occassions , the first time load fails saying no source data available. If I do a repeat within seconds or anytime after that , it picks up data and loads perfectly in the DSO.
I could find no plausible explanation for this.
Could anyone let me know , why could this happen.
Regards,

kind of hard to reply if we don't know how this Z-extractor has been created, hum

  • I am trying to run facetime for the first time, marks an error, I am trying to run facetime for the first time, marks an error

Hi! Need help to run facetime, for the first time.
An error occurs everytime I try, I quit as its says, but not working

    Hello Vivmex,
It sounds like you are getting the following message, "An internal FaceTime error occurred: There was a problem with FaceTime. You need to quit and open FaceTime again."
This message comes up if you double click on the FaceTime icon on the dock.  If you single click the FaceTime icon on the dock, FaceTime should launch normally:
    Symptoms
When opening FaceTime from the Dock, the following alert message may appear:
"An internal FaceTime error occurred. There was a problem with FaceTime. You need to quit and open FaceTime again."
    Resolution
Click the FaceTime icon in the Dock one time, then wait for the application to finish opening.
    Additional Information
This can happen if you attempt to open FaceTime a second time while it is already loading, such as by clicking the FaceTime Dock icon more than once.
You can find the full article here:
OS X: "An internal FaceTime error occurred" alert after clicking Facetime icon in the Dock

  • OID First Time Full Reconciliation - group/role reconciliation question

My client has some roles/groups created in OID. The initial set of users lies over there. I have to bring the initial load of users into OIM. The existing set of users is around 5000. But some users belong to different groups/roles. Now if I want to do a first time reconciliation to bring all these initial set of user profiles and accounts into OIM; where do I need to specify the groups/roles in OID resource object?
I went through the OID connector guide. But in there, in the section "3.1 Performing First-Time Reconciliation", it doesn't mention anywhere to create any multivalued attribute/child form or anything. What are the steps that are needed to be taken? If I just reconcile the group/role lookup values, will it populate those values within the user process form? If so, which fields will co-relate with that?
    Thanks,
    - oidm.

Thanks Raj. But I think I am a bit lost over here.
So you mean to say I don't need to run the scheduled tasks which are related to populating the groups/roles lookups for first time full reconciliation? And also you mean to say that we only need these lookups at the time of provisioning user profiles to target system?
I have to create identities within OIM from OID so I have to run the 'OID User Trusted Recon Task' and not 'OID User Target Recon Task'.
Basically, my question is how will the roles/groups be depicted in the user account when I will do a trusted source reconciliation? If so, which fields in process form will hold those values? Do I need to run the lookup reconciliation tasks for the same or not?
    Thanks,
    - oidm.

  • Steps performed first time any UPDATE is issues after instance start ?

Which two steps are performed the first time any UPDATE statement is issues after the instance is started ? Choose two.
    A. Creating the parse tree of the statement.
    B. Writing the modified data blocks to the data file
    C. Writing the modified data to the archived redo log files
    D. Updating the control file to indicate the most recent checkpoint
    E. Updating the data file header to indicate the most recent checkpoint
    F. Reading the blocks to database buffer cache if they are not already there

What is it? Some OCP question is it? Rather than we tell you what would be the two steps, I suggest you tell us which two would be there?

Thanks for the reply. Load balancer is configured with sticky session. In my investigation, IBM web server plugin which load balances between two opensso also does not have sticky effenity session configuration. I have to check if there is something like that is available for in it.
But is that the issue? how can u tell that?

  • I have just tried to convert a PDF file for the first time. Get error message-can't access service.

I just purchased ExportPDF and have tried to convert a PDF file to *.docx and *.rtf for the first time.  In both cases I get a file that says there was an error is accessing the online service.  What do I do?

Could you try these steps to alleviate the access issue you're having:
Choose Edit > Preferences (Win) or Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac)
Click 'Online Services' on the left-hand side
Sign out of our Adobe ID and sign back in.
Try to convert your document again.
If you continue to have trouble, please verify that you can access the service via the web interface.  To do this:
Open a browser and navigate to http://exportpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html
Try to log in with your Adobe ID (email address) and password
Once logged in, follow the on-screen prompts to convert a file
Let us know if you're still having trouble and we'll try to help!

  • Using wall charger for first time I get error message "charging not supported by this accessory."  Been using since December and not seen this before.

Using wall charger and am now getting error message "charging not supported by this accessory."  Have been using since December and this is first time I have encountered this.

Did you look to see if there is debris or dust causing the problem? Get a flashlight and take a look to make sure.
Is there something in the USB end of the cord perhaps?
You didn't answer this question ....Are you using the charger and cord that came with your iPad?
You could try changing cords if you have another one available to see if it is the cord. Have you tried connecting to your computer to see if you get the same message?
You could try a hard reset by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. Then try the charger again.

  • IPad sync question. First time and update.

Sorry if this is already out there. I looked.
I just hooked up my iPad to the computer for the first time. I didn't have a computer capable of syncing before. I have had the iPad for several months. I was looking to upgrade the software. It went through the sync and then when I went to upgrade it, it said there were purchased items that were on the ipad that would be lost in the upgrade and should I continue. I'm not sure what items they are or how to get them over to my itunes library. I thought the sync did that.
    Thanks for your help.  Dave

File > Transfer Purchases should copy your Apple purchases over to your computer's iTunes.

Have been trying to login to facetime, first time since upgrading, and it keeps telling me there is a problem connecting.  Wifi is working fine.  Reset network settings and also rebooted.  What else can I try, please?

    Try reset all settings

Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

  • Using isync for first time to update address book

I just upgraded to Tiger and thought finally I could back up my contacts from my Motorola RAZR V3i.
However the sync process only works one way i.e. updating the phone from the address book on the Mac, and does not import any contacts from the phone.
Is this normal I can't find an answer elsewhere
    thx

Synchronising is a two-way process, once all set-up correctly.
From experience I've found its best to start off with your data on the Mac first, although by using the Merge on First Sync option, in theory, you should be able to get your contacts from the phone. This doesn't always seem to work.
I don't know anything about Motorola phones, but if they have an option to Send all Contacts by Bluetooth (as vCards), use that to import your data in Address Book initially.

  • Running Xcode 3.2.3 for the first time, hitting an error immediately

Hello. I'm learning Objective-C from a book ("Beginning Mac Programming"), and I've run into an error right out of the gate. I've checked the book's errata, as well as left a message with the author, but neither have solved the issue.
    Here's what happened:
    1. I installed Xcode 3.2.3 (I'm on 10.6.4)
    2. Opened it
    3. Selected "New Project"
    4. Application->Cocoa Application
    5. Save app location to my user directory
    6. Hit "Build and Run"
I haven't touched any code at all, yet I get the following error:
Build TextApp of project TextApp with configuration Debug
    Ld build/Debug/TextApp.app/Contents/MacOS/TextApp normal x86_64
    cd "/Users/dan's/TextApp"
    setenv MACOSXDEPLOYMENTTARGET 10.6
    /Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.2 -arch x86_64 -isysroot /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.6.sdk -L/Users/dan's/TextApp/build/Debug -F/Users/dan's/TextApp/build/Debug -filelist /Users/dan's/TextApp/build/TextApp.build/Debug/TextApp.build/Objects-normal/x86 _64/TextApp.LinkFileList -mmacosx-version-min=10.6 -framework Cocoa -o /Users/dan's/TextApp/build/Debug/TextApp.app/Contents/MacOS/TextApp
    ld: file not found: /Users/dans/TextApp/build/TextApp.build/Debug/TextApp.build/Objects-normal/x86_ 64/main.o /Users/dans/TextApp/build/TextApp.build/Debug/TextApp.build/Objects-normal/x86_ 64/TextAppAppDelegate.o
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Command /Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.2 failed with exit code 1
Any suggestions? I'm completely new to this, so I have absolutely no clue what to do next. The error command seems to be looking in the "developer" directory, although the code is saved in my user directory.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

The /Developer directory contains the compiler(s) and various tools and libraries.
Does your user account name really contain a single quote? If so, it looks like the quote is getting eaten by one of the build scripts, which is resulting in a file path that doesn't exist.

  • First time update windows 8 is fine after second time i get failure message to configuring

my tablet pc is ativ smart pc pro. first time I wanted to updat my tablet bios it stuck and i turn it off after that i reinstall windows everything was fine first time i update my windows and its done but for second time it shows me that " failure
update configuring, reverting changes" I dont know what to do. I restore my system to first day but again give me same error. last time i just restore windows and didnt install any program and start to update again i get same problem.

    Hi,
For your problem, firstly, I would like to suggest you contact Samsung to verify whether the BIOS upgrade would effect system ,
