First Time Log in by BPEL Console

Dear All,
I have installed BPEL Process Manager 10.1.3.1 and also I have jDeveloper studio 10.1.3.
I start BPEL PM Server and then Open BPEL Console but I can not log in with default user name, i.e "oc4jadmin" or "bpeladmin". Which user name and password should I use for first time log in?
Best Regards,
Farzad

  • Error logging in using BPEL Console

    Hi
When I try to login using BPEL Console, I get following error:
"No domains accessible to the user logged in"
I tried link "Goto BPEL Admin". I found no domains there. I am unable to add new domain also.
Can anyone let me know if I need to change any configuration to make this work?
    Thanks

    Hi Badri,
    Check 1:
    First checkpoint where we can identify the detail of error description is checking the following log files;
Domain Log: $SOA_Home\bpel\domains\default\logs\domain.log ('default' is the default domain name)
    - This log file will be created everytime the SOA service is started and will log any domain level startup issues
    OPMN Log: $SOA_Home\opmn\logs\OC4J~oc4j_soa~default_group~1.log
    - This log file will log all the BPEL process specific logs (creation/termination)
    System Log: $SOA_Home\bpel\system\logs\orabpel.log
    - System level logging is provided for infrastructure, AXIS, and WSIF issues
All these log files should give a clear picture about the error which might be causing this issue, based on which you can take necessary actions.
    Check 2:
Check whether the database on top of which Oracle SOA suite was installed is up & running. If not, ensure the RDBMS listener is running & restart SOA service.
    Check 3:
The Oracle SOA suite will be installed on top of a database (Oracle Lite/external Oracle DB), where three schemas would have been created during installation namely Orabpel, Oraesb, Orawsm. These schemas might have got corrupted (or) their passwords might have got changed which throws "No domains accessible to the user logged in." error in Oracle BPEL console. Ensure all 3 schemas are present in the database and their passwords are intact as specified in the datasources.xml/during installation and restart SOA service after corrections.
    Check 4:
If any class files have been added in the SOA suite, ensure they are properly compiled and deployed @ $SOA_Home\bpel\system\classes.
    Check 5:
If you have added any custom xpath functions for use in the BPEL process, you might have added entries in the $SOA_Home/bpel/system/config/xpath-functions.xml. Ensure that this file is well formed.
    Check 6:
If you have deployed any BPEL process recently after which the Oracle BPEL console throws this error, there might be high chance for issues in the deployed BPEL process.
All deployed BPEL processes will be picked up from the following location. Take backup of the existing processes, delete all entries and then restart SOA service.
$SOA_Home\bpel\domains\default\tmp ('default' is the default domain name)
    Refer : http://sathyam-soa.blogspot.com/2009/01/oracle-bpel-console-throws-no-domains.html
    Hope this helps!

  • BPELConsole Authentication is not working. Can't log in to BPEL Console

I have installed the SOA Suite 10.1.3.10 which I have downloaded from OTN. I have selected the Standard Install and the installation was successful. I can start the SOA Suite without any problem. I can access the Oracle Application Server 10g Release 10.1.3.10 page.
But when I click the BPEL Console (or any other link such as ESB Console) link from the right it opens a new window asking me to enter the username and password.
After entering the username as oc4jadmin and the correct password which was specified as part of the installation, nothing happens and the Username/Password screen is displayed again without any error message. I have tried entering the username/password combination for more than 5 times and nothing happens. It appears that the web page is not communicating to the authentication server. Otherwise it should display an error if the password or username is not valid.
I have checked the log files and can't find anything wrong. I have even disabled the firewall, but still get the same problem. I'm using Windows XP professional on a HP notebook which has 2GB RAM.
I have re-installed the product three times and the same problem exists.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Maha

I think the problem could be linked to the computer name. If I start the OAS Welcome page using localhost ie., http://localhost:8888 and click the BPELConsole then the URL shows http://localhost:8888/BPELConsole. With this, the username/password works.
In one of the old posts in the forum the people have complained that having an underscore in the computer name ie., xxx_yyy causes this problem. I haven't tried chaging the computer name, but the localhost works.
All the controls are working with localhost, but I have issues with the "Application Server Control". After accepting the oc4jadmin/<password> it comes up with an error asking me to "Supply Administration Credentials". The screen shows the username/password fields with the "Store Credentials" button. It also states that I have logged in as "oc4jadmin". The error message is shown below.
    ++++++++
This OC4J is configured to make JMX connections via RMIS and fall back to RMI if the RMIS port is not configured. The RMIS connection on the OC4J instance home on Application Server shara.SHARA_HP is configured but a connection could not be established. The JMX protocol is specified by the oracle.oc4j.jmx.internal.connection.protocol property in opmn.xml
    +++++
I don't know whether I need to set the URL to localhost in any of the config files.
Has any one encountered this issue?
I will check search the forum and then post a new message for this issue.
Thanks for all the responses for the original problem.

  • No domain accessible to user logged in from BPEL Console

I am unable to log in BPEL Console installed through SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0.
OC4Jadmin user integrated with OID. Unable to logged as oc4jadmin user to BPEL console or BPEL admin.

I have exactly the same problem. The problem arose after deleting the directory ...j2ee/home/application-deployments and re-starting the soa suite. It's a really annoying problem. I've tried with oc4jadmin, bpeladmin, and default. My environment is also integrated with OID. My database, and my OID are working correctly.

  • HT2731 Trying to submit credit card receive error or get kicked of or sometimes just locks up in iTunes first times logging in

I'm trying to log in to iTunes for the first time set up apple I'd and confirmed when I try to log in to iTunes it says first time this I'd has been used so I follow the prompts through and when I get to credit card it either locks up at end or kicks me off , sometimes I don't make it that far. I've tried several times

I hadn't had my new MBP two days and it began locking up on me in this exact same way. I'm a "switcher" and this is my first experience with an Apple computer and it is really ******* me off. I had no problems with iTunes on my Dell laptop. For whatever reason my new MBP didn't recognize the cover art I imported with all my music files. I would be attempting to "get cover art" and then my MBP locks up.
Is this an issue I can bring up at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store? Can I get a new MBP because obviously this one is defective? I so badly wanted to like my first MBP but this is not helping the situation. Any feedback would be very much appreciated. What recourse can I take with Apple? I purchased the ProCare. Does that get me extra help with Apple?
    Thanks again.

  • Strange message when logged in to bpel console

    Hi All!
I just installed bpel on my linux machine. After starting the bpel server and logging into the console I saw this strange message:
    Cannot find instances.
An attempt to fetch the instances using the where condition " ( ci_state = 1 OR ci_state = 2 OR ci_state = 3 )order by ci_modify_date desc " from the datastore has failed. The exception reported is: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist.
Please check that the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network.
Also I created a pl/sql helloworld webservice, and a bpel process to invoke it through a partnerlink. After deploying it to the default domain I see only name of the bpel process in the deployed processes list unlike both the bple process name and the webservice name.
The linux flavor I am using is fedora red hat. The database is oracle 10g on the localhost itself. The bpel version is 10.1.2.0.2.
What could be the cause of these problems. I feel the second problem is because of the first problem that is there. Any suggestions and solutions please.
    Thanking in advance,
    Regards,
    Deepika.

    Hi All!
Ran the script for the view generation. Found it in domain_oracle.ddl. Granted dba privilege to orabpel to execute the script. Redeployed the bpel process. Now no error is there and the bpel process works fine.I think to successfully install bpel on linux box orabpel needs admin privileges.

  • First-time log in problem from Windows SRV 2003

I just installed a new 10.4.10 server running OD and DNS. Its the OD Master and the dns lookups appear to be working fine. My issue is I have the OD password policy set to change password on first log in, it works fine from a mac but not from Win2003 server. If i log in from any mac first and change the password I can log in fine from the Win2003 box. Any suggestions?

    Hi,
That happens because of browser settings only. To remove the Windows Save password option, go to the option in browser
Tools -> Internet options -> Content -> AutoComplete -> Uncheck "Prompt me to save passwords". Then this will not prompt for saving password. If u want to remove previous passwords saved, u can click 'clear password'.

  • First time log to 9i Portal

To test whether my personalization portal works fine, I typed http://hostname.papz.login.jsp , and entered log in /pwd ( as rajeev/rajeev , I created during portal install) BUT it shows INVALID LOGIN PASSWORD ? Do Need to enter some other other log in /pwd ?
I created one user from Web Integration Server, but that also didn't work . Please advise.

What portal product are you using for your implementatation? It doesn't sound as if you are using Oracle 9iAS Portal. This discussion group is for questions regarding Oracle's 9iAS Portal product.
If you are using 9iAS Portal, perhaps you should just type in the hostname of your portal as the URL, or http://hostname/pls/portal30, assuming that "portal30" is the name of your portal schema.

  • Authentication Failed :  BPEL Console and BPEL Admin

    Hi ,
I am trying to log in to BPEL Console repeatedly. I am using the user oc4jadmin. I have logged in successfully previously using oc4jadmin.
I read somewhere that a workaround is
"Workaround is you take login_error.jsp off from URL http://<host>:<port>/BPELConsole/login_error.jsp, So your URL would look like http://<host>:<port>/BPELConsole/. This will automatically log you in. Since the problem was with redirection and not with your credentials"
This is also not working for me.
Could it be possible that I have locked this account ? Is so, how can I unlock it .
Any suggestions on why I get repeatedly Authentication Failed ?

  • Assistance Needed: BPEL Console Does Not Appear when Loggin In

    Hello,
I have installed Oracle BPEL Process Manager for Developers. I followed the directions completely and thoroughly. After finishing the installation, I Started the BPEL PM Server, I then started the JDeveloper, then I selected BPEL Console all through navigation from Start / Programs etc, on Windows XP. On my first attempt to start the BPEL Console I entered the password of "bpel" with a domain of "default". Upon pressing the Login button, a new web page appears that is completely blank with only the following Link:
http://memphis:9700/BPELConsole/default/index.jsp "MEMPHIS" is the name of my computer with the assigned port of 9700.
I can't get any further than this point. Any thoughts on how to proceed would be appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    Dan

We're currently experiencing similar issue.  We configured RoboSource Control to prompt for Check Out Comments.  Now we get an error message when we tried to check out a topic in Robohelp and unable to make edits to the file.  Could you please let us know how you were able to resolve this issue?
