Fit view to screen on AirPlay?
Any chance there's a way to fit the view in ACV or from the actual app on the screen using AirPlay/Apple TV? Is this going to be a feature in the future? I'd like to be able to use the apps made from DPS as sort of a presentation backdrop this way on some big screens.
Fit view to screen only works with vids as far as I know. iPad apps stay at the same dims.
There are two ways to Zoom the Display in and out.
One is holding the Control key, then Scrolling up and down with the Mouse or Track Pad.
The second is using a set of key commands.
In Mountain Lion, go to: "Apple > System Preferences > Accessibility" to make changes and/or familiarize yourself with the Zoom features.

If you were to upgrade to InDesign CS5 or CS5.5 and if you exported as Adobe PDF (Interactive), you could set the View settings for Page Layout and Zoom.
While, as Jongware points out, its possible for individual users to override that option (Preferences > Page Display > Default Layout and Zoom), the number who will actually do that is actually very tiny. -
Luminance preview not showing in "FIT" view.
I have noticed more and more that the luminance and other noise corrections changes do not show at all when in the "fit" view mode. Sure I can zoom in to see the changes, but when I want to view the full image in the screen & see the overall look it takes the changes away.

Not sure what you mean by this. The option of luminance has always shown for just about every image, but changes made don't show on the "fit" view option. This is true with both the Develop & Library tabs.
Can't imagine that it's a performance issue with my system...if it is then Adobe is building their programs now for some really extreme-only machines...mine would be considered extreme by most photographers...I'm running with 8 cores (4ghz) 12g ram & running all adobe programs out of their own dedicated velociraptor drive separate from the boot drive. Boot drive & image storage drive are also separate WD Black drives (only because they don't have a 2tb velociraptor drive!) So if it's a performance issue then I'll be really surprised.
Maybe this was happening all along, I rarely & I mean RARELY have the need for noise reduction...this just happened to be a few shots at the wedding where I used available light only & had my ISO up to 3200. I want most of the grain left in there since that's what I was going for, but not all of it. -
Yahoomail the text and everything is so large it doesn't fit on the screen. I always have to scroll left and right to read my mail. It's really annoying. I don't know how to adjust that . I tried Google Chrome and it was more normal. Everything fit. I prefer Firefox so what can be done about this?

How to make pages fit to any screen size
Is there a way to make the pages stretch or condense so that it fits any size screen? I've found where I can adjust the px size of the individual pages but I get white borders at the left/right and bottom edges of the screen that vary depending on the monitor size that I am viewing the page on. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. By screen size do you mean browser window size? If so you can get rid of the white around the body of the page by using a solid color or tiled image for the browser background which is set in the Inspector/Page/Layout pane.
Or, if you want the page background to be the same as the browser background do the following;
1 - set the browser background to what you have the page set to.
2 - set the page content background to transparent.
Now the page background will fill the browser's window no matter what size it is. That's how I have my tutorial site setup: http://toadstutorials.info.

"Fit" View in Develop Module Blury
Hello,
I've looked through the threads and can't seem to find others with this problem, so hope someone can help.
I'm working with 16bit scans of 4x5 film at full Imacon resolution. Big 400mb files. A reduced magnification is important to see the enitre image. I work in Fit view most of the time.
This problem started immediately with Lightroom 3. Lightroom 2 was perfectly fine with these files.
When working in "Fit" view in the develop module, whenever I make an adjustment (any adjustment, it could be as simple as changing the fill light), the preview switches to a low resolution blury preview and doesn't refresh to a sharp view. I have to switch to another zoom level, or another image, and back to get the screen to refresh.
This is increadibly irritating and makes the application practically unusable for myself. I'm now using it a fraction of the time I used LR 2 as a result. I'll have to switch back to LR 2 if this can't be resolved.

In IPhoto '08, in Library/Photos, I'm no longer able to view a screen of thumbnails. I'm only able to view a single photo at one time. This was not true in the past.
Note the slider lower right of the iPhoto Window. Drag it left.

Imovie quits unexpectedly whenever I try to publish, or view full screen. How do I fix that?

It was working a couple of days ago, now when I select several images to view full screen, the page comes up, but the images don't. I have a PC, and have already tried doing a disc cleanup and defragmentation.
I’ve found a work-round.
This is embarrassing (for Adobe), as the work-round is to set the CPU affinity to single cpu mode. With that PSE 10 has been running in slide show mode for 3 hours now. Looking good!
On a temporary basis, from the task manager, show the ‘processes’ tab, right click on the PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe *32 process, choose ‘Set Affinity …’ unselect ‘All’ and select (check) any one CPU. (Under W7 32 bit I guess you won’t get the *32)
For a more permanent fix, using the start command with the affinity option is needed. This is not compatible with the PSE 10 launcher though, if you use the launcher you will need to set the affinity as shown above.
To use the start command, from a command prompt type start /? for the syntax..
Try a google search of “how to set the processor affinity” for further advice.
Now, should Adobe be reading this thread I have some advice for them:
“It is NOT POSSIBLE to conduct a reliability test of a program using a virtualized environment”.
I made the error of assuming that after the PSE 6 fiasco in a multi-cpu environment Adobe would not make the same mistake again. Well, they have. Perhaps this time they will conduct a root cause analysis of what they are doing wrong with their test plans and FIX IT, because I object to doing their testing for them, again. -
I have a brochure I need to print. When viewed on screen it is pixelated, however when I change to presentation view it is fine. I need to print on presentation view. How do I do this?
Sounds to me more like you have the Display Performance set on Typical rather than High Quality Display. Unless there is a problem with a missing or out-of-date link, the display in ID has nothing to do with output quality -- all of the image data is used for output.
