Fitbit Activity to Health App Successfully Working

I was able to get my Fitbit activity (total steps, total floors climbed, total distance walked, total calories burned, sleep, and weight). You will need to install the Jawbone Up app (purple icon) and the IFTTT app. Create accounts in both apps. Log into the Up app and have the app send info to the Health app. Log into the IFTTT app and add the Fitbit and Up Channels. Add the Log Fitbit Activities to Jawbone Up, Fitbit Sleep to Jawbone Up, and Log Fitbit Weight to Jawbone Up recipes (the will be under the Fitbit Channel and the icon with have the Fitbit logo on the left and the Up icon on the right). You will get a notification on your phone from the IFTTT app when the recipe runs.
Hope this helps everyone.

HI, I'll see. There is also other app called SYnc solver for Fitbit. but I'd like something free because if Fitbit deny the access to data by third party app these app stop working.

  • Health app not working on the right day ...

    Hi everyone.
I follow my physical activity everyday with the Apple Health app and this morning, while I was walking, the app started to work on another day.
I began my physical activity recording on the 12th of november and since about 10 a.m, I'm now recording on the 13th.
The date is correctly set on my iPhone so I don't really get what's going on here ...
    Could anyone help me?
    Thanks a lot.
    Regards.

on set-up (in the UK) I had to wait until WhattsApp gave me an activation code by sms, is it the same with you?

  • See past days activity on Health app?

On the new Health app in ios8 how can I see the activity or steps for past days?  Thanks

    Hello victormiguel,
When comparing the iPhone models, the difference is that the iPhone 5c does not have a motion coprocessor. That is what tracks your steps and any other motion that is recorded. To answer your question, the iPhone 5c will not track that information without the assistance of other devices that would then sync up with the Health app.

  • Since I upgraded to 8.03 the health app stopped working

has anybody else had problems with the health app.  When I mark items to appear on dashboard it ignores the option.  This used to be such a helpful app now it doesn't work at all.

Thanks for your help.  I have upgraded to 8.1.3 and it still doesn't work.  When I choose an item with the slider to appear on the dashboard it ignores the choice and doesn't recognise the slider.  Perhaps I shall have to wait for the next upgrade.

  • I have been unable to get the health app to work

I have a iPhone 6 and my wife a 5C, the Apple Health Apps works on my phone but not on hers. My neighbor has the same problem, it doesn't record record distance or steps. I have them in the dashboard but nothing happens.

This is because the iPhone 5C does not have a motion coprocessor: a chip that calculates and records your motion like steps and distance. Your iPhone 6 has one (it's called A8). In this case your wife can use a Health supported third party app (like Nike+ Running) to report this data to the Health app.
    Hope this helps!

  • Health App not working (receiving/retaining/displaying) data.

    Hi,
I am using MyFitnessPal and MapMyRun or Strava to send data to the Health App.
The data was not going to the Health App when I looked.
I found that when I did a hard reset yesterday the data appeared.
It was gone in the morning however.
After trying another hard reset the data has NOT re-appeared.
    Is my data lost?
    Is there a bug here?
    Has anyone else experienced this?
    Thanks.

Hi I am using MyFitnessPal and Strava, I have noticed this very same problem, There is another thread looking into this, with a suggestion that a hard reset may correct it. In my experience that didn't work.
From what I can tell the data , ie Steps , flight climbed is still logged and available as I have noticed mine coming and going over the past few days. (almost as things a written to Health App).
I think it is going to require a software update to fix, either Apple or the App causing the problem.
    iPhone 6.0 , iOS 8

  • How do I get my health app to work

I have linked it to my fitness applications, updated my phone and yet still nothing appears on the dashboard. I have a 5c what do I do?

    Hi selmossa,
Thanks for the follow up. Have you allowed your third-party apps access to Health? You can quickly check this by visiting the “Sources” tab:
Use Health on your iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 8 - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203037
    Sources
Here you'll find any third-party apps and devices that can send data to Health. You can control which apps have access to your health data.
You can also see which apps have access to your health data by going to Settings > Privacy > Health.

  • Apple Health - does it work with anything??

Apple Health was a much touted feature when it launched. So far I've found it to be wildly unreliable and utterly frustrating. I've tried using it with LiveStrong MyPlate, Garmin Connect, Strava and Nike+. Emphasis hear is on "tried" because so far Apple Health has failed to properly sync with any of these apps. I've contacted all the app makers and verified that yes indeed I do have everything set correctly. This problem is squarely on Apple's shoulders to fix. Of course this being Apple there's no real way to get any actual support from them. I'm sure they'll just tell me I'm holding my device the wrong way. Seriously though, what happened to Apple being the company that used brag about their products just working and being reliable? Has anyone been able to get the Apple Health app to work reliably?

Another consideration for you now is that MS has officially dropped support for XP.  You will get no more secirity patches or stability patches.
I am not telling you that you must abandon XP, just reporting a fact.
    Good luck with your issue.

  • Ios8 Health App Work with FItbit

WIll the FItbit App and IOS8 Health App

I asked Fitbit and this is the response I got.
"We are glad to help with your inquiry about integrating Fitbit with the iOS health app.
Currently, this app is not listed in the authorized apps to have the availability to interact with Fitbit.com. However, we are taken your suggestion into consideration and hope that we can implement something like this in the future. Meanwhile, we suggest to contact the app provider.
For a list of the available apps, please see here: https://www.fitbit.com/apps
Let us know if you have any additional questions."
So How do we make that request of Apple to authorize and draw over data from fitbit.  I store calories, sleep and activity through their app and don't want to have a bunch of new apps to do what this on app does, although I want to use HEALTH...
Feeling a little like I'm getting the run around.

  • Hardware to get activity data into health app

I Have an iPhone 5 and I want to get activity data into the health app. I have been using the fitbit app and a fitbit one device but fitbit have their head in the sand and are not going to develop this functionality.
i Am therefore looking for a replacement activity tracker.

It's pretty nice. I'm not especially crazy about the app but it gets the job done. Garmin is apparently releasing an updated version soonish. Check out DC Rainmaker's blog for reviews:

  • Apple health dashboard vanished- app stopped working

On iOS 8.0.2 I had no issues with Apple Health and my dashboard and counting steps and other health activities.  It is linked to a FitBit, MyFitness Pal, and Withings' apps and hardware.
    Yesterday all was fine.
Today I checked aftr a busy day and nothing is on the dashboard.  All data seems to be gone.  Steps, weight, blood pressure.  It is there in the linked apps, but nothing on the dashboard and the phone doesn't 'see' steps or stairs wtc.
I have followed the advice here If your Health data doesn't update
So in essence I have opened health, gone to steps, walked, done a soft and hard restart and walked some more.  So far nothing.
Coincidentally I updated to 10.10 Yosemite last night on my Macs.  Perhaps related?  Hard to say.
But I really was liking and depending on Apple Health- it is a real downer to find it is not working or reliable.

I'm having issues with the Health App. I am using Withings Health Mate (along with their scale and BP monitor), and the information on that app is accurate and immedialtely updated. It does not, however, seem to communicate with Health.  Very annoying.

  • FITBIT+HEALTH APP

When I go into my Health app in IOS8 It  show anywhere that ist working with fitbit. Anyone know how to sync them, or if fitbit will not work with the built in health app

Now that 8.0.2 is out with HealthKit support, I believe we're now waiting on Apple to approve (and for developers to update) the updated apps that will integrate with Healthkit. Apple announced they pulled many updates when HealthKit was broken in the release of 8.0
So now we wait for fitbit to update.
Then, we'll figure out how this all works

  • TS1702 facebook and facetime app not working on my ipad3,ihave reinstall it 3 times but no success

facebook and facetime app not working on my ipad3,ihave reinstall facebook app 3 times but no success and fbapi error domain occurs, facebook works properly on safari

Ok, this is what I figured out after 4 hours of testing. Restoring as a new device didn't help for me. Also hard reset, re-installs, unchecking and checking all notification options did not help. I installed facebook messenger but also this program did not have notifications (all my other notifications work.....)
As my wife deactivated her account I made up a new test account and logged in on my Iphone 4S. Surprisingly this new account had no notification problem at all. The problem is I had been testing with messages all along (and not with reactions on wall posts). It now turns out that all works fine on my original account except for notifications of private messages (or you can call them chat messages). They will simply not work on my original account but work perfectly on my new test account.
The only difference between the test account and the original acount is that I a have an active user account (FB is doing some testing with acttive users so that they receive lesse indicidual mails by gving those users the option (a check box) to receive overview mails) . See also http://socialsunil.com/facebooks-summary-email-feature-for-active-users/. Could this be the reason I do not receive private message notofications?
I do not know but I definitely know this is an account problem and not an hardware or software problem. So to all of you try to log in with a different or test account to corner the problem. Please react on this post if you have a solution.
