I have installed firefox 30.0 on my NP900X4C-A04SE, Windows 8.1 64-bit
From time to time it freeze and say: not responding. Often when I type in search term in google. With only on tab open. After a while Im able to continue.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

Premiere Pro CS3: Many Problems Fixed By Upgrading to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

I recently installed an SSD drive and Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
Installing the Adobe Master Collection CS3 went smoothly and only took a few minutes instead of an hour, as in the past.
Premiere, for the first time in the years I've used it, runs STABLE. Not only that, but I can have AfterEffects open at the same time. And Maya 2008. And everything chugs along smoothly.
Case in point tonight: Multicam Editor: Under XP, it worked, but the quality of the video displays would be badly pixellated when video was playing. Under Windows 7, all the four viewports plus the 'online' viewport are sharp and clear and I can see if a camera is slightly out of focus, which was impossible to detect in the past until I watched the finished result.
The audio dropouts everyone complained about for years are a thing of the past.
And here's the biggie: I can render, render, render and keep rendering h.264 files and Premiere keeps ticking. Under XP, 2 to 3 files and that's it. Unknown Error would be the next render result. Under W7-64, I rendered all night and day without shutting or restarting Premiere, and I even had Maya and AE going and was working in them at the same time, something I could never do in XP because it would run out of RAM. And I can do this in 4GB ram! With 8GB, AE renders 3.5X faster, but most other programs remain about the same. I figure in the case of AE, it has EXCLUSIVE use of 4GB ram all to itself on an 8GB system. At any rate, die-hard CS3 users, don't be afraid to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit.
The only thing you need to do differently is put the Postscript fonts in Adobe's fonts folder, as it won't see the Windows\Fonts-located PS fonts.
My 2008-vintage editing workstation breaths new life, like a major hardware upgrade was done. The "$139 system performance upgrade" I call it. (Sure, adding the Intel 320 SSD helps, but mainly with launching programs--once they're running, the main improvement comes from Windows 7 64-bit.)

Macbook Pro not recognizing Windows 7 RC 32-bit disk

I replied in my post to your same question as well.
Are you using Boot Camp Assistant to set-up for a clean install of Windows 7 RC:
Start Boot Camp > Create Windows partition > insert Windows DVD > click 'Continue' after DVD icon shows on desktop?
Or are you receiving the error message after clicking 'Continue' in Boot Camp Assistant?
Others here are more experienced with the MacBook series so hopefully they will chime in at some point if it is an in-depth issue / resolution here.

Trex can't be updated to higher levels on windows 2003 server 64 bit

We have a portal system (EP 7.0 SP18) and a Trex 7.0 server which are
working on windows 2003 server 64 bit on the same server.
After upgrading our portal system from sp15 to sp18, we can not see
indexes on Index Administration screen. When we tried to create the
indexes from the beginning, we faced the message "An index with the samename already exists."
We thought that the level of the Trex server(25) is low which may cause
this problem and decided to update the Trex server to level 46. We
downloaded "TREX70_46-20001842.SAR TREX 7.0 REV 46" from
service.sap.com and tried to update Trex server according to
NW70_SPSTACK_GUIDE_SPS18.pdf.During the installation a warning
message "You started an installation of sofware for platform
i386, but SAPinst is running on platform AMD64" was given. When we
continued the installation, an error message
was shown in a message box."Running msiexec.exe failed with return code
1603:Fatal error during installation. Commandline was
msiexec.exe/norestart/L sapmmcx86u.log/i sapmmcx86u.msi/qn" I searched
the sapmmcx86u.log and the error message says that this installation
package is not for windows
2003 server 64 bit.

We searched in OSS notes and found the note "Note 1021003 - TREX 7.00 -
Update Windows 2003 64-Bit installed from DVD"
.We did the things in the note but unfortunately nothing changed.
We tried the install revision 45,44 etc but we got the same warning and
error messages.

Hi Tolga,
You face with this error, because of Trex installation package is trying to install native i386 redistributables (vcredist_x86.msi) during the process. In order to patch Trex system on x64 architecture, follow the instructions, below;
1) Start sapinst, under your <TREX_PATCH> path
2) Ignore AMD64 warning popup
3) When popup appears on the "1603:Fatal error during installation." error, change temp folders on both environment variables, on my computer
4) Download and execute "vcredist_x64.exe" then run installer
5) After respective installation click on "Retry" button on error popup
At the end of this operation, your Trex patch will be succeeded. Please do not forget to undo your temp directory settings, on your Trex host. I hope that it is clarify your question.

ITunes Store Crashes Windows 8.1 | QTMovieWin.dll fix did NOT work

I am running iTunes 11.1.3 on Windows 8.1 64 bit. iTunes and the iTunes Store worked prior to my upgrade to from Windows 8 to 8.1. Every time I attempt to access the iTunes Store or anything associated with it, iTunes crashes. I have tried the QTMovieWin.dll fix by thurdy, which failed to work. I have also attempted booting iTunes into safe mode, loading iTunes under another user in Windows, and have checked for third-party plug-ins. None of this has worked. Does anyone have a solution? Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.

Try making separate desktop icons for the Editor and Organizer. You can then launch directly. The standard desktop icon is for the welcome screen which often runs in the background or doesn’t shut down properly.
Start by right-clicking on the desktop and select:
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13
Inside the Photoshop Elements 13 folder make sure you select the application (not a shortcut) by scrolling down to the files beginning with the letter P and highlighting ‘PhotoshopElementsEditor’
Then click next followed by finish.
You can repeat for the Organizer using the different file path.
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 13 Organizer
Highlight ‘PhotoshopElementsOrganizer’
Then click next, followed by finish.
Now that you have your separate desktop icons you can delete the one for the welcome screen, if preferred.

After this i was able to go to a site with the title "Java Downloads for All Operating Systems" and here you download your JRE for your OS. For XP or Win 7 it was a java 6 update 29-b11. The file to install is named '''jxpiinstall.exe'''. After install an restart you go again to [http://java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml testvm.xml] and see that the java plugin works fine.... (see the screenshot)...

IMac & Macbook running slower than a Windows computer

Hello all, I need some help with my apple products. I spend half my day messing with the internet to try and get it going instead of sitting there with a blank look on its face. They freeze up to an extent. I generally can always close out Safari, shut off the wifi, then turn wifi on and safari will work somewhat better sometimes. Here is the Etre report for both the iMac and MacBook. Also on the MacBook report, I was digging around in my system report and found something that made me think it might be bad so i have included it as well. Please help me and keep me from wasting half my day every day. Thanks. There is several extra lines after the Macbook report that came from my system report. Ever since I moved into this new house my apple computers have slowed down to granny speed and sometimes they just sit there and stare at you. I have an iMac from 2011, a mac book pro 2014, iPhone 6, iPhone 4s, and to top it off a windows computer that is used for graphic software. I have 2 TV’s that we use as well. My internet and cable are provided by ATT and at my old house it worked great, no problems. I have had ATT out twice since install in January. They have given me a new modem, and a booster to help increase the reach of the wireless internet. My internet is supposed to be 18mbs download and for the life of me can’t think of the upload speed. When testing I usually have a 10 to 11 download and a 1.80 upload speed. I have ran verify disk, fix permissions so many times and that it is ridiculous. My iMac is used in the back room which is about 30 feet from modem, that is why they gave me the booster the 2nd time out. The macbook is used just whereever. The speed of the Mac’s is slower then the Windows computer. That ain’t right. I don’t download anything, I don’t go to crazy suspect sites. I have taken the iMac to apple store and they tested it and said it was fine. I have re-installed the O.S. (Yosimiteme 10.10.3). I just want my apples to work properly again.

Ok, I don't know what those drivers are for?????? I don't have a clue Here is what it looks like when I do the option thing. Hopefully its ok to post that. I went into system preference and went to network and DNS server as a ip number and search domains as attlocal.net not sure thats correct, but that is what my phone had. Anyway it started working good for a while now it is just going slow again. I don't have anything set up for the tab 802.1X and my proxies is blank in the protocol to configure (nothing checked( and I a have this *.local, 169.254/16 in the bypass proxy setting plus the use passive FTP box is checked. Maybe that will help some. I will look at the extensions and get rid of them, I thought I had already done that though. Ok, thanks for the input let me know if any of this helps or what I should do.
