Fix text scaling on Youtube?

Hi Firefox Support! I have a 3k monitor on my Laptop and Youtube has really small text on its UI. This doesn't happen to me on any other browsers like Chrome and IE. Is there a way to fix it or do I wait for an update?

Is the video and other parts of the page the same size as normal? It's possible the page could be zoomed out. Try resetting the zoom by clicking on the three-bar menu icon in the top right. You should see + and – signs with a percentage in the middle. Try clicking on that percentage to reset the zoom.

SRM Fixed Text Mapped to ERP Purchase Order for Extended Classic

We are switching from Classic to Extended Classic.
We currently have "Contract Riders" which are fixed text that the users can select and the header level on the ERP purchase order.
We need to add this functionality to the SRM purchase order. Unfortunatly the fix text on the SRM purchase order is only 30 in length. Can we map the fixed text codes from the SRM purchase order to the ERP purchase order so that the full text on the ERP side is selected?
Or is there a way to allow more than 30 characters for the fixed text in the SRM purchase order?

Is it possible to import a Fixed Text file that does not have a header?

I'm trying to import a Fixed Text file through Import Manager, but the text file I am receiving does not have a header on it (the first row is valid data). When I try importing this, Import Manager uses the first row of data as the headings. Is there any way to turn this off and tell Import Manager there is no header data in the file?

Hi Ryan ,ur requirement can be met only when u import the file as ODBC .for this follow the below steps.
1)Go to control panel,in ur settings,select administrative tools
2) In that select DATA SOURCE(ODBC ).
3)Go to SYSTEM DSN tab select tab .
4)Select ur file type MICROSOFT TEST DRIVER (.txt,.csv)
5)Double click on "Import DSN" and in the blank give the name of DATA SOURCE NAME any name u want to give.
6)Uncheck the use current directory box and select the directory ur file is it will automatically show ur source file select it and click ok.
7) Now when u import ur file as ODBC give the name of ur DATA source name which u have given and it will show ur file in the source preview itself .
In this way u can import ur file as ODBC.

CS3: how to create action to add fixed text of foreground color, etc.

I'm trying to create an action and/or brush preset(?) that will:
1) Add a fixed text string in the forground color, consistent font, size, etc.
2) Apply a consistent Layer Style -> Bevel and Emboss setting
3) Allow me to move the text to whatever position
4) Change text layer opacity
5) Flatten
At some point in the past when searching the internet I came upon a description of how to create a brush preset (I think that was it) that did at least most of this, but somehow I seem to have lost the preset and don't know how to recreate it.

First it is And/or you can create both or one or the other. For in actions and scripts you can not automate the use of a brush.
1) Add a fixed text string in the forground color, consistent font, size, etc.
    Easy if all images are the same size and a little more work if image size vary for you will need to scale the image.
    If you want to scale the image back to it original scale at the end of the action you need to use a little script in the action. .
2) Apply a consistent Layer Style -> Bevel and Emboss setting
    Again easy if aoo images are the same size not posible if images vary in size for many setting in layer style are in absolute pixel size.
    However layer styles will look good for a range of images sizes like Print Size or thunbnail size or small web sizes.
    Therfore I create actions for print size images and work full size. if I need smaller image I work full size and resize before output.
3) Allow me to move the text to whatever position
     This is quite easy to do in an action you simply add an interactive transform step after adding the text layer.
     However this is not a good idea if you want to batch the action. Interactive sort of defeats batch.
     With an action it is easy to posion a layer.
4) Change text layer opacity
    Simply change the added text layers opacity and or fill and it will be recorded.
5) Flatten
    Simple just record it I don't like actions that flatten though. If you give your action to some and the use it on an image the did a lot of work on the may get very upset the your acrion flatten all their work.

How to hide the fixed text when it is not needed?

Hi All,
I am using a fixed texts in a lot of reports to detail queries.
How to cancel or hide these fixed texts when there is no data returned for some detail query in the report?
Note: I am using Reports 6i.

Select that text and press F11 to call PL/SQL Editor and use the code as below.

Copy fixed text values from shopping cart to PO in SRMSERVER 5.5

Hi,
We use SRMSERVER 5.5 and want to use text schemas with fixed values to allow the user to in the shopping cart select specific predefined texts that should be visible on the output of the PO.
When looking at the IMG documentation for standard text schemas, there is one line saying "Note: The system can only copy the long texts for text types for which no fixed values have been defined in Customizing for the source text schema or for the text type in the follow-on document."
Do you have any idea how we can copy the fixed values to the PO from the shopping cart? I have taken a look at BADI BBP_LONGTEXT_BADI but I am not sure how this badi coudl help for the transfer of fixed values.

What can i do to fix the incredibly slow youtube app?

My 4th genneration 32gb ipod touch is fairly new (but doesnt have a warrenty) and has lots of problems. One, the touch reponse is slow. Two, the apps close with no warning. And the biggest issue for me is the youtube app is incrediby slow. It takes me 9 minutes to watch a 3 minute long video. Looking for answers online about this last problem, I have found that a lot of people say it's because of the HD that makes it go slow. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can give me any advice on how to fix any of these problems. This is not what i would have expected to get with $300!
P.S.
I also have a 3rd genneration 8gb ipod touch, and it works fine! I have no problems with it and I can watch the youtube videos without waiting for them to load at all. I got the new ipod because I needed more space and wanted a camera (which also *****)!

Z-index-- image fixed/ text mobile

I'm a web developer student with 5 classes left before
graduation (with honors) and I've come to realize...I'm really not
ready for the workforce! GRRRR
I have a layer question. My page setup is as follows;
z-index 1 or 'OuterPanel' is position absolute, width and
height 100% // covers the full screen
z-index 2 is my 'WorkArea' relative, margin-left/right auto,
750px by 750px// keeps the active content centered
z-index 3 (which sets inside of z-index 2) includes multiple
div's that hold my positioning for text and pics.//absolute--fixed
to the 'WorkArea' --centered.
My question is, with this setup, can I lock a pic in position
(z-index 3) and still scroll text on the same z-index. I realize
that I can lock a background image in place, but I can seem to get
full control with image location when changing monitor size. Any
thoughts?

Sure - there are much easier ways to get centering pages,

That's complete claptrap. Frames are NOT a security risk, and
there is no
suggestion (even a remote one) that any browser will not
support them.
Frames are a complete pain in the ***, for both you and your
client, but
they are not what you have suggested.

Thoughts? I would discard the idea of achieving the 'fixed'

Fixing text size so it doesn't mess with layout?

In IE7, if the text size is set on anything but "smallest",
some things go to two lines. For example, if you go to
www.earthenexposure.com , I'd like to keep everything from
"sculptures" to "about" on one line.
The same can be said with the navigation throughout the rest
of the site. (here for example:
http://www.earthenexposure.com/sculptures/home.htm)
In this case, if the text size is on anything but "smallest" in
IE7, "weaponry" gets seperated from "primitive" and is put on the
second line and "links", "index" and "about" get pushed to a third
line. I'd like "sculptures" to "primitive weaponry" to remain on
the upper line and "links", "index" and "about" to remain on the
second line.
Could that text be set to a fixed size...or is there another
and relatively easy fix to this issue? (I'm new to this
stuff)

your style sheet is:

open it in Dreamweaver.
go to the bottom of the page.

save.
That's it. What this style does, is it will affect the cell
(<td>) that holds your list of
link-titles, because you have given this td the class "hn".
If you look at your code, you'll see that each one of your
links on the left is inside this:
<td class="hn">your link</td>
Looking at your code is always a good idea, when you have
questions.
"white-space: nowrap"
tells the browser NOT to break the text into several lines.
The expected result is that the width of
the td will therefore stretch to fit the text on one single
line, whatever the text size.
This seems like a good solution since your td width is not
fixed and you can't fix the text size either.

FM to fix text length

Hi....
I've got a problem in Smartform where in if the firs column fields lenght(character type) is less it printing the second column in the space and the order of column entry is shuffling.....
My text length is 30 character long i've fixed it like &itab-text(30)& in text element........but when the text character is less that 20 chars i'm having the shuffling problem and the second column get fixed up the space and the order gets misplace.....i'm using tab stop for giving space between two columns and its fixed for every columns......i tried this my concatenating space when the text lenght is less than 20 chars....but still the same problem........and tried every thing now i just wonder do we have any FM to fix the lenght of text to achieve the result.......

Refying PDF with subset embedded fonts fixes text extraction

Hi All,
I know it is not a good idea to (just) refry PDF files (PDF -> EPS -> PDF). Especially when the PDF contains subset embedded fonts. Chances are you will end up with a PDF file which does not contain valid (searchable) text.
I did not know the apposite could also be true. The following zip file contains 2 PDF files echo containing two words: the original and the refried version.

When selecting text from the original PDF (using acrobat 6 through X) file it contains incorrect text, in this case invalid capitals. If I try the same in the refried version the extracted text is correct.
It seems strange to me that a process which only can result in loss of information "fixes" this text issue. Somewhere the correct text must be hidden in the original PDF file. Not only capitals seem to be effected but also random characters which seem to be fixed once refried.
Could anyone think of an explanation?
Is there a workaround without having to refry the PDF (refrying often results in loss of information). I have no influence on the PDF files I recieve, therefore I cannot embed the full fonts.
I am using de C++ SDK for Acrobat to write plugins.
Any pointers would be great!

Your explanation makes sense.
I went ahead and removed the tounicode cmap just to see what would happen
if (CosDictKnown (cosFont, ASAtomFromString ("ToUnicode")))
CosDictRemove (cosFont,ASAtomFromString ("ToUnicode"));
As you predicted this fixes some issues and introduces new ones.
The results differed from the refry method, in some cases the refried PDF did not contain extractable text, in other cases the PDF without "ToUnicode Cmap" had no extractable text.
Maybe I could combine the information of different text extraction methods to make an educated gues which one (or combination of) is best :S
I suppose looking at individual textruns (with all its complexity) would not help me either...

CS6X fixing text

In using the 3-D options on text, I need to fix the text but haven't figured how to go back to normal layer, fix the text and go to 3-D again.
Related, I'd like a good text for CS6 plus Extended. So much new. Does the classroom book have extended info also?

You can click on the text in the 3D panel and in the properties panel click on Character Panel to change things like text size, spacing etc.
If you want to change the letters, then click on Edit Source, change the type and Edit>Save.

Will IOS 7 fix texting? I can't send texts to people without an iphone. I get an error then have to send again.

The IOS 7 update won't let me send texts in it's orginal form. For example past iphone holders in my contacts don't let me send texts to them. It acts like they are still part of imessage but they have a different phone now that isn't an iphone. So I get an error or it won't send it to them. So I have to 'try again' and send it as a 'text message'.. No idea how to fix that. Any help?

Fixed Text

Hi, I have a fixed background image on my page. (css is
background-attachment: fixed;) So the content of the page scrolls
past the background image which remains fixed in one spot. However
now I have a sidebar column of text I would like to fix as well so
it doesn't scroll out of sight along with the main content. Is this
possible?

How do I fix text from a PDF that has become a paragraph for every line?

When opening a PDF in Illustrator, the text gets all messed up. Every line becomes its own paragraph, making it very difficult to edit because I have to edit every single line individually. Is there a way to get these to all become one paragraph again like it was in the original file? (P.s The original was created in illy, converted to a PDF, and now being worked on in illy again.) I am working in CS6.
