Fixed and Aligned Keyframe Frequency
Is there a way to tell FMLE that the Keyframe Frequency I have set for H.264 encoding should be fixed, as well as aligned across all video bit rates?
I have discovered the actual point in time at which FMLE generates a new keyframe is variable. I have experienced keyframe distances as short as one video frame.
I have also discovered that FMLE does not always generate a keyframe at the same point in time for each video bit rate.
No, sadly now that I've tried it with a audio clip from the sequence, you get the zig-zag effect you had with 6.0.6.
*The bug isn't fixed in version 7.* Did you report it to Apple's bugfixing site (I know it exists, but have never found a bug worth reporting to it) ?
I guess you need to use the two shortcuts to work around it: Command-Option-K to add only an audio level keyframe and Control-comma if you want to keep the audio panned to -1.
You can also drag the 'Add Level Keyframe' as a button in the button bar if you don't want to use the keyboard shortcut.

Type 'add level' into the search area
Drag the 'Add Level Keyframe' button to the top left of the Viewer window.

So how did you do it?
by understand what iweb widgets do, in this case setting gridEntry widget's scalMode preference from fill to fit.
then reset the displayed image, so it fits in the display area even if it's portrait aspect.
however, i found some glitches in gridEntry widget that's quite strange... but all fix-able.
perhaps, iweb experts (whose had poked at my example) here can chime in. -
Illustrator CS4 measurements and alignment issues
When I create any object to a specific dimension (say a square that is 5" x 5") the dimensions in the transform pallet are always smaller than 5" x 5" and never the same each time I create a new object. When I try to correct the size by typing in my dimensions in the transform pallet (width and height) the dimensions change but they do not reflect what I just typed in. If I try to correct the size a second time the dimensions finally reflect what they are supposed to be. I've been using Illustrator since 1988. I just upgraded to CS4 from CS3. I've never had a problem with inaccurate dimensions. This is a waste of my time. Can some one tell me why this is happening? Is this just another bug that has yet to be fixed? Or is there a setting that will fix this issue?
Another problem that I'm having is with "Aligning" two objects that butt again each other. For example... draw two boxes and align one side so that one edge is exactly on top of the other edge. Ok... I can do this by turning on smart guides and dragging one edge on top of the other. However, my problem is with the Align pallet "Distribute Spacing". In Illustrator CS3 you can select two objects, then select your target object to align to. When you click on distribute spacing in the align pallet the two object edges are perfectly aligned. CS4 does not seem to to do this anymore. Can some one explain why?
Just to be clear for those who like to read into things.... 5" x 5" is just an example. So pick a number. The dimensions are never correct.

I've noticed that it has something to do with an object that has a stroke. If I create a new box without a stroke then then my initial measurements are correct. However if I add a stroke my measures change according to the stroke weight. I've looked for ways to turn this off, but can not seem to find anything. I think this problem has something to do with the over all appearance of things.
Which lead me to another issues I'm having.... What happened to the "Filter" menu? When I try to round corners on a rectangle it applies the round corners as an effect "appearance". I have to expand the appearance in order to the corners to actually be rounded. Why did this change? I want to change the actual object the first time I create it and not take extra steps. This can waste a lot of time. I think this same issue is what is going on with the stroke weight. I don't want my object size to increase when I increase my stroke weight. If I did want this, I would create outlines. Can this be turned off? If not, I will have to continue using CS3 until Adobe fixes this problem. -
Aligning keyframes in the Timeline (After Effects)
I was trying to align some existing keyframes in several layers with each other. I was surprised that I could align objects in the composition but not in the timeline. So I did some searching. I found something that might help, but I don't think it's the complete answer. I think it would be great to get other's opinions / suggestions for a better way.
I followed this process:
Open the keyframed layers in the timeline
Selected all of the keyframes
Clicked the Graph Editor button
Set the Snap option (magnet button on the bottom of the Graph Editor)
Manually slide the desired keyframes to line up together
I've seen other suggestions for scripts or cutting and pasting keyframes. Though these should work, it sure would be great if I could select several keyframes and tell them to center-align, left-align or right-align.
Does anyone know of this ability in AE?
Thanks, ChrisI suppose this would be doable with a script, but off the bat I'm not aware of one that aligns keyframes in the manner you describe.

Variable speed and advanced keyframing
So I'm trying to figure out how to do something complicated and I'm not sure if its possible in final cut, but if not maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Lets say for example I have a video of a pulsing light that dims and brightens regularly and an audio track with an irregularly placed noise with silence in between. I want the pulsing light to be aligned with the audio waveform so that the peak of the brightness is aligned with the sounds.
I guess I'm looking for a way to keyframe the video speed, which I'm not even sure if you can do in final cut. But I'm also wondering if I could possibly write a script to have it pick out keyframes based on the peaks of sounds or brightness. And is there a way to make it variably match up the speeds so that audio and video keyframes are aligned? I'm very confused here as to how I would go about this. Any help is appreciated.If you can wait for Motion 3... you can do what you want almost instantly... it's pretty cool...
Otherwise, FCP isn't scriptable. so it's a frame by frame sort of keyframe thing you need to do... pretty tedious, but probably the only way to do what you want.
You can change the speed of a clip with keyframes ... read about "Time Remapping" in the FCP manual availalbe in the Help menu for quick searching.
But if the video doesnt' really move at all couldn't you just cut it in to the beats you want it to brighten on? I'd think that would be easier.

I ran a virus/trojan fix and this is what it said it could not repair something in the main library core or something like that. What do I do? The problem seems to be with safari?

Fixed and Variable Breakup of Actual Cost
We have implemented Material ledger and also activated actual cost component split. We are getting the actual product cost at month end. In the costing cockpit we get the Peiodic unit price(Actual cost) as well as std price of the material. But In costing cockpit we are not able to get the breakup of Fixed and variable. Whereas we are getting Fixed and varible breakup when we check cost component report in ckm3. But there, we can see individual material wise fixed and varibale breakup.
Can anybody help me so that I can see the Actual Fixed and variable cost for all the products at a time?

Fixed costs remain, whether you manufacutre or not.
Say you are deciding whether to out-source an assembly, If you outsource, VARIABLE cost will be saved, Material, labor for that assembly, Overhead representing fringes for that labor, the electricity to run that specific machine. However, you will still have fixed costs of: Management Salary (although some of that can be variable); insurance on the building; heating and cooling for the building; realestate taxes.
If the cost to make "in house" is 150 each and the vendor is going to charge you 100, thi is only a true saving if your fixed costs are less than 50.
SAP allows you to separate fixed and variable costs so that you do make/buy analysis, budgeting, etc

I downloaded CS6 and am having issues with my print driver. It is not compatible with the HP 2600n and have tried to download drivers given to me by adobe ( (Jupiter 3) but it is not working. after a few days. Its a temporary fix and is still looking for the HP driver when i boot up. It also will not save in any print or postscript format. Does anyone know how to fix?

It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -

Whenever I go to iTunes with my iPod 5th generation 32 gb iPod Touch, running iOS 8.0.2, It tells me that the "Other" category is using up 14.59 gb of data. I have no clue why it says this and I have searched the internet for fixes and none worked. I have tried on a windows and a mac and noticed no change. I have tried restoring to a backup but that didn't help. I haven't had time to do a full restore but I will try if the problem persists.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

I took my iMac to be fixed and when I got it back, mail was not set, so I called Apple and they helped me set up mail. Now the new mail goes to trash and there is no number by the 'inbox' to tell me how many new messages I have. I cannot save a draft to 'drafts.' There is a large number by 'trash' (I think all mail went to trash - including drafts). When I send myself an emai, it goes to trash also. This is on both my iMac (the one taken in) and my MacBook Pro (same emails) which was not taken in.
I went to 'rules' but have no idea what to do there. There are no rules in the rule box. When I click 'add rule' it puts 'rule 1' in the rule box, but since that was not there when I took it in, I delete it to have an empty rule box.
Can someone pleasehelp me. I am completely stupid with all this. Do not under stand what is suppose to be set up in 'rules.'

ArudiNow new mail is coming to both computer's inboxes but there is no number on the stamp icon on dock to show number of emails on the iMac. Nor is there a number by either email address under MAILBOXES/inbox (sidebar) on the iMac. This number is showing on MacBook Pro.
I also can save drafts now on both computers.
Seems the Pro is fixed and the iMac is only missing the numbers on dock icon and by addresses in inbox.
Now that the problem is less, I feel i am wasting your time but will continue so maybe I can get those numbers back.
Two emails > AT&T email and gmail.
Apple's Mail program for email - yes, and gmail.
IMAP for both accounts.
Did not change mail configuration on MacBook.
The iMac and MacBook Pro have the same mail configuration except in Accounts/mailbox behaviours/store draft messages on the server was not marked on MacBook > it is now.
'Store junk messages on the server' was marked on one computer for gmail, but is unmarked on both now.
On the iMac, Accounts/Accounts info/Outgoing mail for gmail is smtpgmail.
On the MacBook Pro for gmail it is smpt.gmail.com (plus) my email address.
Rules/Add rule window, on the MacBook third line is 'Any Recipient', on the iMac third line is 'From."
The last box on that line has my email address on the MacBook.
The last box on that line has the last address I sent an emil to (last night), on the iMac.
On the last line on iMac, no box was selicted for 'to mailbox' > I choose 'inbox' because it is on the MacBook Pro.
Now I have a Rule #1 and am not sure I should have because there was no rules marked when I took the computer in.
