Fixed Enhancement BADI in Onjective settings & Appraisals (OSA)

Hello,
We are planning to use Fixed Enhancement BADI to prepopulate certain goals such as
1. Supervisor's goals
2. Employee Qualifications, etc
My question is, when these Supervisor goals / employee qualification requirements changes, will they be automatically reflected in the employee's appraisal form?

Hello,
I found an answer to my Question:
Any changes to the element text will be reflected in the appraisal. But if new elements are added, that will not get reflected in the appraisal as the Fix Enhancement BADI will be triggered only when the appraisal document is created.

Fixed Enhancement - Add Requirements of Appraisee's Position

Hi experts,
We used this "Add Requirements of Appraisee's Position" in the Fixed Enhancement for the appraisal form and we implement together with EHP4.
Before EHP4 implemented, the appraisal form is working fine, the Competency Gap section/Value is coming out after launch the appraisal form.
But after EHP4 is implemented, the Competency Gap section/Value is not coming out or missing in the appraisal form.
Can I know what is the cause of the issue?

When you copy the new column (let's call it "ZCUVL") and put it in the template, did you also specify a scale for it?
If you specify a scale for it, the whole column will have the same scale. This is not correct because not all qualifications has the same scale.
I specify a scale for ZCUVL and then in the value-determination BADI, i check the qualfications of each row and change the ZCUVL-column to reflect the correct scale. However,this works only in GUI and not Portal.
OSS said that the value-determination BADI should only change the value of the cell, not the drop-down list of the cell.
Could you tell me in further details how yours work?

Appraisals (OSA) - Integration with ECM

Hi
We want to integrate Appraisals (OSA) with Enterprise Compensation Management. Could you plz. let me know what all the settings we need to make in order to send the rating information individually (EE Rating, Mgr. Rating, etc...) to ECM module and also what settings we need to make so that the Compensation of the Appraisees adjusted according to the
rating given by the different people (ex: EE, Mgt etc..).
I mean whenever employee appraises himself and rates there should be a change in the compensation and whenever mgr gives his/her rating again compensation should be adjusted automatically... ultimately whenver the overall rating is given again the compensation should be adjusted automatically.
Could you please help me with the above issue??
We are using ECC 5.0

Thanx for your response. I am sorry I dont think this helps us ..... with the settings mentioned by you it is possible to integration ECM with Appraisals and then we can send the overall appraisal automatically but not each level's ratings. Any thoughts on this issue ?????????

PMS: Creation of new tabs for reference elements of ENHANCE BADis

Dear Experts,
I am on a PMS EHP5 implementation (for all practical purposes, it's an EHP4 implementation as we are not using the pre-defined template) and have the below problem.
I have the ENHANCE_FIX and ENHANCE_FREE BADIs included at the VA level (as the requirement is to create immediate child objects for the template through these BADIs). I have a reference element (VB) defined for these BADIs.
Example template (L1 = Level 1, L2 = Level 2, L3 = Level 3):
L1 - VA
---- L2 - VB1
--------- L3 VC1
--------- L3 VC2
---- L2 - VB2
---- L2 - VB3
In the above example template, the ENHANCE* BADIs will add VBs (example: VB4 and VB5) at the L2 level (appearing in the document below VB2 and VB3).
The requirement is to have separate tabs for each VB at the L2 level (so I will have one tab for VA and 5 tabs for VB from the above example).
I am unable to specify creation of new tabs for the reference element VB when I carry out my tabs and process configuration.
I have not been able to find any information on this aspect either. Would appreciate any help that can come my way.

I still feel that the product should leave that option to the designer of the solution. There are a lot of solutions which can get chaotic. If designed appropriately, I guess this chaos can be controlled.
At the very least, I am sure that I have not left anything out in configuration. I will raise this with SAP over a CSS.

can anyone help?
i have seen there are lots of many exits available, but i am after something more specific....
if anyone could help and point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Enhance BADI

Hi ,
I have a requierement to Enhance the standard function module IDOC_INPUT_MBGMCR to perform update to Ztable and to Perform validation to prevent duplicated record (this will handle in PI or need validation to be built within the function module) .
I know the process how to enhance badi steps but i am not getting where should i put the code for update the Ztable.
Please let me know the soln

I don't think any BADI/Enhancement Points available in FM: IDOC_INPUT_MBGMCR. You may have to look at the enhancements available in BAPI "BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE" which is called from this function module (Line No 214).
If you are looking at updating the Z table after the Goods movement is posted, see the Enhancement points available after the subroutine call to "mb_post_goods_movement".

Nornally many requirements are fulfilled with doc change Badi.
SRM provides very basic reports but if u want good reports u need BI

Enhancement/ BADI for Planned Order Routings CA01/ CA02

Hello Experts,
The reqt. is
An iDoc should get generated in SAP each time a Planned Order routing is: Created/ Updated/ Cancelled
The iDoc generated should contain Planned Order attributes plus the routings.
I am extending Idoc type LOIROU02 adding a custom segment with a field for Work center.
Now where to populate value for this newly added field?
Any Userexit/ enhancement/ BADI is available for this?
PS: There is no Userexit for this as far as I know.
Please help. Its urgent.

Try re-booting the phone. If that doesn't work, make an appointment at the genius bar. That usually indicates a hardware failure.

Exits are basically the hooks whcih SAP has provided to add your own code. There are two types of Exits:
1. Customer exits: Implemented as Function Modules within z includes. Anybody can change it and no access key is required.
2. User Exit: Implemented as subroutines within includes (any include except y or z includes). You need access for the specific include and then you can any subroutine (user exit) within that Include.
BADIs are the enhanced version of user exits where the same logic is implemented via classes and object (OOP)
Enchancement point is the latest once introduces with ECC6.0 . Not very sure about that but you can change it without any access key.

Reporting - Objective Settings & Appraisals

Hi,
My client is using the Objective Settings & Appraisals component in SAP version ECC 5.0.
Does anyone know how to generate a report of employees who do not have a current appraisal document on the system?

Hi,
Try using this report PHAP_SEARCH.
Give the employee id in appraisee filed and execute.
All the appraisal documents related to the employe will be available.
You can download it to EXCEL or SMARTFORM.
I assume u know ABAP.
You can try using the table "HRHAP_APPEE". here you have to use the negative logic to get the employees who not have appraisal documents.
Create a new report for this table and query with all active employees.
For every sy-subrc fali, this means that the appraisal document does not exist.
