  • How to select the vendor from the source list in the PO(me21n) screen ??

    Hi
How to select the vendor from the source list in the PO(me21n) screen.
Is there any Sources of Supply tab in the PO just like we have in the PR.
I don't want a PO raised from a PR which has got the Vendor assigned to it already.
Or the SAP doesnot provide the option of Source list/Assign source/Sources of Supply .....in the PO.
    Kindly reply

There is not any facility available for Source Determination in PO. Only you can select the line item and click Menu Environment > Source List and view the list of sources available for the material but you can not chooss and assign. If you wan to assign the vendor then change the vendor already entered in PO and put the desired vendor.

  • BDC for ME01 to delete vendors in the source list

    Hi ABAP'ers,

My program runs well till deletion after i delete a record it is showing a pop up to confirm and on clicking yes the vendor is deleted. But the source list is not getting saved, or in other words the BDC flow stops after deletion, though i have handled save ok code in my BDC internal table. is there a solution for this.

Run in mode 'E' and fix whatever you have missed on your BDC.

  • Source list Vendor fixed!

    Hi All,
I have maintained a source list for a material with a contract in the source list and the vendor fixed. I have also maintained it as MRP relevant (by having MRP indivcator as 1). The Source list check box in the material master is checked.
Now when I run the MRP for this material I do not have the contract and the fixed vendor form the source list in the PR generated.
I have also tried by maintaining an inforecord (though it doesn't seem related). But it soe
Am I missing something here? Is something missing in the PP configuration?
Please guide. My client wants the contract and the fixed vendor in the sorce list automatically picked in the PR generated by the MRP run.
    Regards,
    V S

    Hi,
What you should do to check if your source of supply is properly set is to manually create PR and assign this contract source of supply to your PR.  If the source of supply is not accepted, then SAP will populate the related error message.

  • APO proposed a Purchase Requisition with no Fixed Vendor

After Quota Hueristic Run, the APO proposed a PR with No Fixed Vendor.  The Source List for the Material is properly maintained.  Please help.

Should be a master data issue. can you try to create purchase req manually and see if it picks up the vendor ? this will atleast ensure that you have required master data setup.

  • Fixed Vendor in Source List

    Hi, All,
I want to know what's impact if i tick the vendor in the source list?
    1. is it impact for MRP run to assign the source to purchase requisition to generate purchase order?
    2. is it impct for costing run?
    3. can i create purchase order for this material with other different vendor?
Is there any other impact other than above items?
if i have no perfer in source list. is there any sequence for source list to dertermine vendor? item 1 is first?
can i tick mutliple vendors for 'fixed'?
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
    Hi, All,
    1. is it impact for MRP run to assign the source to purchase requisition to generate purchase order?
If you have the source list,,, it will suggest the vendor to be considered for procurement. It depends on How the configureation( it allowed to change the vendor)
    2. is it impct for costing run?
    No
    3. can i create purchase order for this material with other different vendor?
In Standard SAP it is possible,,, it will give warning messeage...again it depends on the config/settings
Is there any other impact other than above items?
    no other impact

  • Vendor update / generation in source list

    Hi,
is there any solution that vendor update / generate in source list with reference to info record creation date.
standard system behave in a way to generate / update source list on current date of updation.
    Regards,
    Ali

Even I had the same problem.  source determination in MRP is different when compared to source determination in PR. MRP just picks the first vendor in the source list no matter whether the other vendor is fixed or not.
Even SAP doesn't have proper answer on this issue in OSS note 206684.
As others said, you need to copy ME05 and create a new TCODE with different logic for source list date.

  • Error when blocking a vendor in source list

We are trying to block a vendor from the Source list (Tcode ME01), however this vendor was created in a different system and imported into our current system.
The error message we receive states "Source list record created in a different system".  We are unable to save the change, so it is not a warning message, but an error.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

your source list records get created in a central system. if you delete an entry you create inconsistencies to your central system (and you may get this record back soon undeleted).
Contact the guys who create the source list in this different system and let they maintain the block and distribute it to your system again with ALE.

  • Source List table

    Hi
What is table for Source list?

And in what table are the changes to the source list stored (change docs, history)?

  • How to maintain the Fixed Vendor

    Hi,
As I know Fixed Vendor always maintained in source list, but is there any other place we can maintain the fixed vendor.
My PR is having 2 line items, non of them is maintained in source list but, one of them is automatically have fixed vendor number and info record when PR has generated by thrid party order.
    Regards,

    Check the steps below
    1) you have check the source list indicator in material master purchasing view
    2) than create the info record or contract
    3) create the source list with contract or if info record is created than it will be for info record
    4) make fix source in the source list
    5) in Me51N screen you will see the source ldetermination check box, this check box should be checked and you can defult that by personal setting
    6) now if oyu create the reqs you will see the sourcve as per source list
BUT if you have checked the regular vendor check box in info record than your source list will not work
    see below
    Regular vendor
Specifies that the material is to be procured from this vendor at client
level, i.e. for the entire corporate group.
    Use
If you set this indicator, the regular vendor is suggested as the only
         source.
If you wish to work with the source determination facility for purchasing
documents, it makes sense not to set the indicator so that the system
suggests all available sources, not just the regular vendor.
If you try to enter a different vendor than the regular vendor in the
source list or quota arrangement, the system will issue a warning
         message.

  • MRP VS Source list

We removed the fixed indicator in the source list .But still purchase requisition is considering the fixed vendor in the MRP run .
What might have the reason ? Any input will highly appreciated .
    Thanks
    JJ

    Dear JJ,
In my understanding even if you have removed the Fixed vendor indicator,if you have assigned 2 vendors in the source list in
ME01 for the same material ,I mean if more than one source of supply exists for a material the system picksup the first vendor.
Correct me If I'm wrong on this concept.
    Check and revert back.

  • MRP - source list!!

    Hi All,
I have two vendors in the source list. I have fixed the second vendor in the source list.
When I run the MRP for the material the system assigns the first vendor to the PR and not the second vendor which is fixed!!
This is something strange. The MRP run should always pick the fixed vendor as per my understanding.
Is this a timing issue? Is it that the MRP only considers master data that I have created yesterday?
I say this because in certain cases when I have maintained the source list or the quota arrangement it was effective only the next day and not on the same day!! Is there any specific config related to MRP for this?
    Regards,
    Vishal

    hi,
    A.check for the few things:
    1. Always remember the source determination is in this way:
    a. quota arrangement
    b. source list
    c. outline agreement
    d. Inforecord
Now check whether there is any exsisting vendor record for the quota arrangement...
    B. Check the validity period of the source list...
    C. check whether there is A vendor ticked or mentioned as "Regular vendor"
    D. Also check whether the B vendor for whom you want the MRP to run, is indicated as MRP relevent or not...with the MRP indicator in the source list...
    Check these parameters..

  • Is it not possible to create a PR with Fixed vendor without an Info-record

    Hi,
We have a requirement in which data necessary for PR(Purchase Requisition) creation ( replenishment orders ) comes from a legacy system and we use the BAPI -BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE to create the PR's.
The problem is when we try to create PR by using plant in the field fixed vendor present in Source of Supply tab, we are getting the error message, "Inforecord for Vendor xxx and material xxxx does not exist ". This message is due to the plant given in fixed vendor field and missing info records. And we always use only "plant" as fixed vendor.
Is there any way to avoid the determination of info records based on fixed vendor?
    Thanks in Advance.

I don't understand the reply. This is the Power Mac forum. Is the real problem finding a PowerPC version of Flash and Adobe Reader? If so, Adobe dropped Flash support for PowerPC in February.

How evil is this? Well, Apple itself no longer supports PowerPC in its last two major OSs, 10.6 and 10.7. So the problem here is a very old Mac.
There is an Adobe Reader for PowerPC.

Adobe kept putting out PowerPC updates longer than Apple did!
Also, Adobe Reader is available for iOS, if that was part of the original question.
