Fixing iPhone error 13019 when syncing with iTunes 8.2

There is a bug in 3.0. Recently i discovered that when i tried to sync voice memo to itune, I hit this error message of "The iphone "My iPhone" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred 13019". I tried to wipe off every music from my iPhone and re-sync back from iTune and it still hit the same error. Tried to uncheck the voice memo, and it resolve.
I hope the upcoming release will resolve most bugs including this one.

Thanks for posting your fix/work around for this. I had a voice memo from three days ago that had sync'ed with my Mac two days in a row now with no problem. This morning iTunes kept giving me this unknown error 13019 dialog.
I simply unchecked the single voice memo sitting in my Library, and the next sync worked without any errors. NOTE: I do have sync prefs for my iPhone set to "Sync only checked songs and videos".

I have two iphone, one 3gs and one 4,0. First i replace my 3gs by my 4.0, they had the same name.
No problems, my new iphone got the same name as my old one and is synced with all my old data. Then I gave my old Iphone to my little girls.Some time later did a sync with the old one and no problem.
I rename the old one and give it the name of my girls.

- I tried everything said in support, try to sync without music, uncheck memo, delete duplicate memo from itunes( and there was duplicate, probably when i sync with my old iphone)
Still get the same error : 13019 unknown error.
- Do you know if its possible to activate debug logs ? to track who cause the error and why ?
- A way to resolve ?

I also have the same problems and get the same error message, amongst other things. The iPod (photo) has even been back for repair 3 times, but no fault was found. It worked fine since April but then all the problems I am getting started following the download of Apple's iTunes 'version 5' which has not been cured by then downloading number 6. The effect of this download on my other computer has been that iTunes itself will not open. Apparently caused, some say, by Norton thinking it is some sort of Virus??? (See the discussion forum on this problem and 'iTunes will not open in Windows', it is huge, but still no 'fix' from Apple!). I now have an empty iPod, and 2 computers with iTunes that will not do its job. Not impressed, my husband has ditched his iPod and has already bought a Sony, which he says is much, much better and much more stable. If this is not sorted out soon I will be doing the same.

Hi, does anybody know a way to swipe delete songs on the music app on the iphone, and then not have them re appear on your phone when you sync it with itunes?

you likely have to 1 install a newer version of itunes
or 2 uninstall reboot and reinstall iTunes

What is going on with iTunes, When I plug one end of the sync cord into my 5th Generation iPod Touch and the other end in the computers usb port, it starts to load like it's gonna sync but then it's saying The iPod "Becky's iPod" could not be synced because the sync session failed to start, Why is it giving me that? Got an error msg when syncing with iTunes--backup file corrupt

I tried syncing my iphone with itunes and got a message saying my backup file was incompatible or corrupt and that I need to delete the backup file. how do I find the backup file?

this is only place i thought of that might know these problems:
1. I cannot access itunes store from itunes - it just says loading... and doesn't load anything
2. I have an error:
" ITunes cannot sync photos to the iPhone because the folder "My Pictures" cannot be found.
I tried installing iTunes again and didn not help.

Yes, however, I was able to finally sync my phone, I don't know how it worked or what I did differently, I just restarted iTunes and it appeared, but my original problem (the phone speaker) still exists. When I turn on speakerphone, or when I use the headphone mic, I can hear the dial tone/conversations like normal, but I cannot use the phone otherwise.

What fixed it for me:
On your computer, open iTunes > My iPhone (or whatever name you gave your iPhone) > "Music" page
Uncheck "Sync Music"
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
Uncheck the box for every song, playlist, etc.
Click "Sync" button (bottom right) (This step may be unnecessary, but I did it and got the result I wanted.)
Let it run and finish
Check the boxes for the music you want on your iPhone
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
See if that doesn't work for you. I tried a lot of things that did nothing, but this seems to have fixed it, and quickly.

IPhone loses play counts when syncing with iTunes

I would like to repeat the question from this thread, which has mistakenly been marked "answered".
When syncing with iTunes, not all play counts are transferred into iTunes. When I turn the iPhone off, it even forgets the complete list of played songs (it is even deleted from iTunes itself).

I have similar problem. Played podcasts becomes UNPLAYED after synch with iTune.

I had done all of that to no avail. I did call Apple Tech Support and after he suggested I try a USB port in the rear of the Win 7 computer, things starting working again. I had tried switching the USB port at the front of the machine but that had not helped. Everything is good to go again. thanks for your reply

I have had exactly the same problem before, I have followed the guide as suggested to the letter and still no joy, each time (3 times now) that I have reinstalled the latest version of iTunes it is recognised and syncs with my iphone but with the next reboot of my computer it is gone again.
