Fixing the homepage of the store

Where the heck is the window for new songs based on what I've downloaded?
I dont give a fableep about staff favorites or what's exclusively on Itunes, I'm more interested in having a panel that shows me the songs I! MEMEMEME! as the customer would be interested in.
It keeps on showing up and dissappearing at random dates. AND I"M TIRED OF IT! I WANT TO SIT ON MY BUTT AT 11PM AND FIND THE MUSIC I WANT!

Subscribing via iTunes presents no problems, but the iTunes store has a few issues...

There is one aspect I have in the xml feed that I wonder might be catching the system up - I have included an additional <media:thumbnail> tag so it provides images for this flash player over here - www.theproof.co.nz/soundproof - I would like to keep them there, and the feed is showing as 'valid'.
I do note that 'viewing' the feed by just clicking on it, doesn't give a normal listing...
Removing all the <media:thumbnail> tags fixes the 'view' so I wonder if it might also fix the store issues - but - I really would like to get those tags in...
Im a little confused - I have given the store a few days to make sure it has updated - but doesn't seem to make any difference...

Hmm . . . Indeed.
I see what you mean about the flash player and having thumbnails for that. (That looks really cool by the way, and so does your website.)
But yes, I think you are right about the <media:thumbnail> tag being the one that is hanging you up in the store. And the feed doesn't show up at all for me in Firefox. Feed Validator agrees with me. But don't despair, however!
To keep your flash player happy, and yet have everything work in the store, I would use this work around: (this is just me, mind you, you can do whatever you want)
1) Make a duplicate file of your feed, and rename it something like proofpodcast_2.xml, and put it up live in the same location you have the original.
2) In your duplicate file, remove the offending (<media:thumbnail>) tags.
3) In your original feed, add a <itunes:new-feed-url>http://www.theproof.co.nz/podcast/proofpodcast_2.xml</itunes:new-feed-url> tag to the <channel> level.
This way you keep your old feed, and your flash player works, but also you make the picky parser at iTunes work by giving it a new feed that doesn't have confusing tags.

Try contacting iTunes via email to check if there is an issue with the account. go to apple.com/support/itunes
Click on iTunes Store account and billing and select inquiries. On the right side click on "email us".
Before doing that trying viewing your account information first. Open the iTunes on you mac, look at the menu and select store and select view my account. Try removing the card (this is only applicable if you don't have a pending charges with iTunes) and hit done. Sign out, quit iTunes and sign back in and try updating the apps again.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

On my Iphone 3 that I just got, the letters I, K, N do not work. Is there an easy fix or do I need to take it to the store for a replacement.

Make sure your hands are clean and dry, then try these steps:
If you have a case or screen protector on your device, try removing it.
Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Unplug your device.
Restart your device. If you can't restart, reset your device.
If your touchscreen still doesn't respond like it should, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

OH my god SOMEONE PLEASEE help me. I closed itunes so maybe it could work again now it looks like its never downloaded it dissapeared from my library. I went to the album it looks purchased but it doesnt have a download button. So what you basicly did is you made up a problem. You failed to help me. You stole 0,90 and still dont care to answer me back. Not community nor if there is any workers here, themselves. I wanted to support one of my favorite singers and this is what I get in return.

Is it still in warranty? If yes, then you might be in luck. But at the same time they may refuse because its your fault for sitting on I (not trying to be mean, just saying). However, with my experience with Apple's repair service, they are really nice and will do a lot to satisfy the customer, so they might replace it or just give you an option of trading it on for a refurb or something. I would call and find out or just stop in the store and ask. Worst case is them saying they wont fix it.

Nobody here can fix your problem, we do not work for Apple. And I have no idea what "Chrho" means. Neither does Google.
So - exactly what happens when you try to download a program? And from where are you trying to download it?

When is Apple going to fix the iOS6 App Store app? With the iOS5 version, you could easily view apps by release date in order to keep up with the new offerings. I usually bought one or two newly-released apps every week (many of which admittedly got deleted within a few days, but at least I tried them...). Now (with the new version of the App Store) I can't view apps by release date (at least not a list longer than a dozen or so titles in a specific subject area). As a result, I rarely buy new apps any more. It seems to me that it would be in Apple's best interests to fix this problem.

I've got the same problem.
It wasn't the case before the upgrade to v 9.2 (Iphoto 11) yesterday.
The previous solution preferences - advanced - "select a store" (last option) doesn't solve it anymore.

Installed Yosemite and now lost apps and also my App Store does not open. Does anybody know how to fix the problem?

Some weeks ago, I installed OS X Yosemite, as shown on my App Store, that was a "System Update available for my IMac 2009". Followed all the steps, normally and installed it as I did many other times ago (with the Maverick, Mountain Lion, OS X).
Just after the installation, I noticed that every single folder or program that depends on "Apple", stopped working.
Examples: Office package opens normally, so as Firefox. But, IPhoto, ITunes, Safari and App Store itself do not.
That is causing me fear, because even trying to reinstall Yosemite or return to the one I had before, using App Store became impossible. Even the "Apple Icon" on the top left corner does not work. I click, it flashes, just IF it was ready to open, but nothing happens, seams that have something stopping the "loading process" of the softwares.
Does anybody know how to fix the problem, please?

I Tried before, but the Mac App Store was not responding either, and worse, after 5 years, There is no free phone support
I ended up solving it by reinstaling the Yosemite pressing "comand + R"

Make sure that you can access the Internet on your computer or device.
Make sure that your computer meets the iTunes minimum system requirements.

When I called Apple (after wating 42 min. for a live person) I was told to run the APPLE Software Update and turn off location services then restart my computer. There were no available updates. The iPod touch I got on Christmas day. The iTunes app was downloaded the same day. Since day 1 I have not been able to connect. I also followed lllaass's advice and followed instructions on the following 2 websites.

After restarting my computer:
From the iTunes app I click on the 'iTunes Store'
A new window opens and I get the following message:
This Apple ID has not yet veen used with the iTunes Store.
Please review your account information
So I click on 'Review' and am taken to a crude screen that says
Welcome to the iTunes Store
With an Apple ID, you can download the latest music, videos, and more.
To begin creating your Apple ID, click Continue.
So I click on 'Continue'
A pop up window says:
We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-1202).
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
And the only option I am left with is to click 'OK'
After every fix this same scenerio just loops and loops and loops
