Fixing the range of data series axis of analytical chart

I developed the analytical chart and every thing is working fine. I set the value of property range of analytical chart to 'fixed' but that range still varying basing the data displayed.

According to your description, you want to the height of horizontal bars to be fixed in the Range bar chart when the number of values in category groups change.
In Reporting Services, when creating a chart, the width and height of the chart is fixed. Height of horizontal bars is a percentage based on height of the chart, so when the number of values in category groups increases, the height of horizontal bars
decreases. To fix this issue, we need to dynamically increase the height of the chart. Please refer to the following steps:
In design mode, click and select the chart area.
In properties window, in chart section, click the button at right of DynamicHight.
In Expression text box, we can dynamically change chart height according to parameter. Type the expression and preview the chart to see if the height of the horizontal bars is appropriate.

Chances are the 2g itouch will not be included in the update. Also no one yet knows if it will be fixed in the next firmware but apple has said they know of this bug.

Why hasn't Adobe fixed the "disappearing form data" problem???

I am using Acrobat 9.2 and people are emailing me a fillable, savable form that I CAN'T READ WHEN I GET IT! What the...?
I'm using Windows 7. The PDF form opens blank and I can only see what the user typed in if I click on one of the fields. When I click on any other field, I can see that field only -- the first one disappears and there is no way to print it. Exporting the data gives me a useless text of .fdf whatever file that is also useless and require further processing. Is there no simple solution to this? Guess I need to start using Google Forms instead of lousy Adobe products!

How can I change the bar color (data series) in a chart on the iPad version?

The number of different. colors used in a char (line, bar, pie, ...) appears to be limited to six, quite short for my needs, however, Excel imported charts show up in the original colors (12)... until I change the chart type (to get a homogenous look with the rest of the content) it gets changed to the 6 basic colors. Any clue on how to modify individual series colors? Note that I am asking about the iOS version.

Does any one know how you can adjust the font size (point size) for the file
names.
Sadly enough you can't chance that, feel free to add a feature request for
that, the more there ask for the bigger chance it will be realized.
It would be great if the colors for the image name (background and font color)
could be changed so the contrast could also be increased so it is also easier
to read.
And this the cheerful part, go to Bridge preferences General tap and play
with the sliders for user interface and Image Backdrop until your satisfied.
BTW using the slider for thumbnail size bottom right of the Bridge window to
increase the thumbs does not increase the font but makes it nevertheless a
little clearer.

How to fix a range of values in y-axis

We are using the column charts in the design studio 1.3 to display the sales information. In the Y- Axis the max/ Min values are 5000/100000000, we want to fix the range between each scales so that the number of the scale can be defined and the graph will also looks clear. Please let me know is there option to achieve this.

Calculate Data Series Dinamically

Hello Everyone,
I've a requirement in Visual Composer that I would like to know if anyone can help me.
I want to build a lines chart.
In the chart you can define what you want to put in the "category Axis", that normally is defined dynamically.
In the data series you cannot define them dinamically.
For example you have this table/query:
Month/Process A B C D ...
01                     33
02                              34
03                         35
So in a lines chart, you can define the "category axis" as Month, and in this case, if you have 3 months, the chart adapts to only 3 months, if you have 5 months, the chart adapts and displays the data for the 5 months.
But for the data series, I have to insert (in my example), all the process that exist, process A, B, C, D, etc., so for example if you have 100 process combinations, but only have data for three process, you have to define your dataseries for 100 process, and all 97 process that have the value zero (or no value) are displayed on the chart and represented in the legend.
My requirement is to display dynamically on the data series, only those that have in fact values, so in my example if only the process A, B and D had values, only those process should be displayed on the chart, if for other query execution only the process B and D had values, than, only the process B and D should be displayed.
Does anyone knows how to dinamically display the data series on a chart in Visual Composer?

For that issue I got another workaround,
let's say that one of my dataseries is named xpto_value,
So in dataseries of the chart I define a formula something like this:
NVAL(IF(@XPTO_VALUE==0,"",@XPTO_value))
So if I have 0 for the XPTO_VALUE it is returned nothing, and the line of the data serie is not printed in the chart, otherwise it is printed.
I can work with this.
But my question is I have to do that for all the data series, i.e., for all the columns of the query.
So in my case, I have for now 6 columns, 6 data series, and I can define this for all these 6 data series in the chart.
But let's say that tomorrow, I have new data on my query and instead of 6 data series, I have 8. In this case the chart is not adapt dynamically, i.e., I still have only the 6 data series, I have to go once again to the chart and create this formula for the 2 new data series, having all the 8.
So the chart does not adapt dynamically for all the data series that exist at the time of execution, I have always to define the data series one by one.
Do you know a way of dynamically define the data series, so if the query returns n columns, then the chart will display automatically n data series independent of what n number is?

VKM3 credit release resets the shipping tab dates

Hi all,
I create sales order today 04.03.2010 and delivery date is in future , say 10.03.2010
I go to scheduling - shipping tab and fix the material available date as 09.03.2010.
Order goes for credit block
I release the order through VKM3
After releasing the order , Scheduling - shipping tab dates are reset to 10.03.2010.
I do not want this to happen.
Any SAP notes to be implemented?
Can any body suggesst on this?

Hi,
Check in OVA8 if you are using a userexit (flags of user1 to user3 on). If it's true, debug the code, surely it's not working right. Check if you are running in background the report RVKRED77 periodically. Check too (I think that your problems must be here) if you have any VOFM in the control of documents. I copy some documentation that I have:
"The goal of creating a custom FORM routine for the R/3 Credit Management module is to establish our own rules regarding when a sales order that had been previously on Credit Hold, and then released by a Credit Manager for further processing, should be subjected to the online Credit Management policies a second time if a Sales Order end-user is now trying to save some changes to that sales order. If the sales order is, in fact, subjected to the same online policies a second time, most likely that sales order will end up on Credit Hold a second time."
So, set a break-point and debug it.

How to break range of dates into different months in mm/yyyy format

See the following eg:

Now I want to break these dates into mm/yyyy format based on a condition. If the date(day) 15th lies in the range of dates

In your Report Program, you can define the field of type sy-datum. And then fill the fields with the date. And then you can extract the rest of it manually by this small and simple lines of code. Once you have the date extracting logic then you can output the date in any manner according to your wish.
data : lv_date TYPE sy-datum.
data : lv_month TYPE c LENGTH 2.
data : lv_year TYPE c LENGTH 4.
data : lv_month_year TYPE c LENGTH 6.
lv_date = sy-datum.
lv_month = lv_date+4(2).
lv_year = lv_date+0(4).
CONCATENATE lv_month lv_year INTO lv_month_year.

Line Chart - getting data from two table to behave as 1 data series

I'm using the 'Personal Budget' template, and have two tables titled 'Annual Budget by Month: 2009' and 'Annual Budget by Month: 2010'. These tables show, as their last row, my total savings. I want to set up a line chart to display the (downward) trajectory of my savings in one continuous line.
However, if I create a line chart, the two data sets from the two tables are displayed as two lines, one below the other. If I convert it to a column chart, and then switch to columns instead of rows as the Plotting Orientation (data series button in the upper left of the table), the columns do display correctly. Can anyone tell me how I can get the line version to work?

I think the solution to your problem is to create a summary table that gathers the data from all your month tables, then plot the summary. Remember to put the category names into a Header row or column so they will automatically show up on the chart axes.

Add a data series dynamically in charts

I am trying to add a data series dynamically in a chart but
it does not seems to work. Here is the sample code. Any idea?

It works if I do the following but I don't want to remove
other series already there.

I see...i don't know why the chart is not refreshing itself
in the next keyframe after you added another series. You can also
try to put the statement:
[myChart.series[(myChart.series as Array).length] = your new
ColumnSeries object goes here.]
in a new frame by doing doLater();
Apparently an asigninment statement on the series array does
the trick. If you don't like that approach, you can also try to
invalidate the display object, so that a refresh is forced.

Can tools alone fix the problem?

I'm currently involved in a large scale CDI implementation for a client, and what we found is that to fix the issues around data quality, across the organization, someone had to take ownership first. I realise the obviousness of that last sentence but this is not as easy as most people might think. The initial response was that this is an IS responsibility, but IS might not necessarily understand all the relevant business rules encapsulated in that data. The problem is the client has multiple systems running inside and across separate legal entities, and herein lays the challenge. An enterprise wide controlling body is required to first identify all DQ related problems and then analyse why the data is in that state. An IS department might initially be able to fix the problems using DQ tools, but the reasons behind those issues might not be resolved and as such will return.
To return to my question - for the tools to work an organisation will first have to take ownership of their data and this is not an IS only function but should be a joint venture between IS and Business.

That's absolutely a loaded question, and I'm glad that previous responders have agreed that both the IT and business owners have to work together on solving the issues. Where the business owner understands the business need, they are not aware of internal relationships; the IT organization understands the ERP relationships, but may not understand critical business requirements. That's where the role of ERP business analyst is an absolute asset. The business analyst has specific business functional experience, as well as IT expertise sufficient to help both sides understand the actual data, as well as the consequences of using inadequate, or incomplete tools or scripts to analyze or correct data problems. This person or organization may work in close association with a company's quality or testing organization, as well as the business process owner to support corporate need. What I find works well is a tiger team of IT, business owner and business analyst, depending on the scope of the problem, and you may need a high level corporate sponsor to drive cooperation.

SSRS Bar Chart grouping date series into Months, setting scaler start and end ranges

I've been trying to solve this issue for a few days now without writing a sql script to create a "blank" for all of missing data points so that I get a bar for each month. I have date series (by day) data points grouped by two items
that creates a set of bar charts. EG: one chart per product in the tablix detail grouped to site level.
My issue is I would like the start and end of the charts to be the same for all charts and the only way I get it to work is with a chart that continues to show each date on the chart.
EG:
I have the graph start and end points set and scaling by month as I would like but each bar is a day instead of aggregating to a month level. My issue I hope to find a workaround for is if I go to Category Groups and define the grouping
to group with a year and month function the series is no longer treated as date data and I cannot control scaling. It works fine if all months have activity, but I can't figure out how to always have all charts start at "May 2012" in this example.
The only start and end point that I've been able to get to work once doing this are integer based, eg normal start would be 1 for each graph, but 1 doesn't equate to the same month from chart to chart.
I hope SSRS can provide the solution. I do know I can write a query that creates a ZERO value for each month/product/site but I don't want to leave the client with a query like that to support.

If I understand correctly, you want to display all month category label in the X-Axis. You have configure the Scalar Axis, however, it cannot display the requirement format.
In your case, if we want the specific data format, we can configure Number property to set the corresponding Category data format. Please refer to the following steps:
Right click the X-Axis, select Horizontal Axis Properties.
Click Number in the left pane. Click Date option in the Category dialog box.
Then, select Jan 2000 option.

Is it possible to make a simple y vs x line graph, when neither of the two data series is in a header?

For hours I have been trying to do this, without success. When there are two columbs of numbers, in the bidy of a table (the sheet), there seems to be no way to make a line plot one column vs the other, as is easy to do in Excel. A scatter plot seems to work, but not a line plot.
Weird!
Can someone tell me if a line plot is possible?

It is simple to do what you want. It is two extra steps as compared to doing it the "Numbers" way with the X data and the series names in headers. Note that a line plot is not a true X-Y plot of X vs Y unless your X data is evenly spaced and in numerical order.
1. Select the Y data and make a line chart
2. With the chart selected, go to the Axis tab of the Format sidebar, click on the "Category X" button, and replace the "Label References" with references to your X data. In my example I changed it to Table 1::D6:D8 and it expanded it out into separate cell references.
3. Click on the Series tab and change the "name" reference to point to your series name in the chart. In my example I changed it to Table 1::E5

I´m using for the first time the functionality of the graphics is SAP.
I want to plott one data serie on a secondary axis by ABAP code but I´m having some difficulty.
