Flash 10.1 installed but will not work because of plugin issue.

I am running Windows XP with FF V 3.6.6 and installed 10.1. I cannot open media flash files and get the message: "Plugin for this content is disabled". I have done a Plugin check through FF and it is unable to detect plugin version for getPlusPlus for Adobe 16263. Help!

In my personal life, if I think that malware has touched my machine, I just wipe it and install from pristine sources. I don't tend to recommend that approach when helping people in a support context because it reads like a cop-out, but it doesn't sound like your machine is working right. You might consider just backing up any critical data files and blowing the whole thing away.
While you got rid of the thing that was detected, there's no guarantee that that malware didn't download additional new payloads. Hundreds of new virus signatures appear daily, and it takes time for the AV vendors to discover and publish signatures for them.
So, that said, you can try running the Windows system file checker:

If that doesn't work, I don't have any good suggestions. Flash Player is a built-in component of Internet Explorer on Win8.1, and I haven't found a method for forcing a complete uninstall/reinstall of IE. I'm still looking for a good solution on this, but I haven't figured on out yet.
Out of curiosity, what anti-virus/anti-malware/security tool(s) are you using?

There's two different versions of Flash. The ActiveX version for IE, and the Plugin version for other browsers. Did you install the correct version? This forum's software doesn't thing that Flash is installed for Firefox or the Plugin is disabled.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here:

Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit 
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed, 
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.

I hve installed flash player(several times) and it will not work. programs using it tell me to install it...but it IS..I can see it in my programs list. What is the version of Adobe Acrobat / Reader you are trying to install on Windows 7. Was it working before on the same machine?
Also, you may try to uninstall Adobe Reader/Acrobat using cleaner tool if the version is 9 or above: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Flash Player Uninstalled and clean install but will NOT work

Yesterday my Flash Player stopped working. I tried to update and it crashed. I uninstalled all of the Flash Player info and then did several clean installs. I tried previous verisons and it still won't work. I have Windows 7, I use Mozilla Firefox and not sure what else you need to know to help me fix this before I lose my freakin' mind.

OK, I will try, but I really don't know. I don't have any other recommendations of places to go and just use Flash like you do. You say it just quit working in Win7. Since you mention Firefox, I am assuming you are using Flash as a plugin for Firefox. Usually when such a problem occurs, something has updated. It may be that the flash plugin in Firefox is disabled.
Did something else update when Flash quit working. When you say it quit working, what are the symptoms. I went to the samples I listed below to check operation -- what did you do?
I just updated both Firefox and Flash. I then went http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/samples.html and played a movie sample. No problems.
All I can do is try to help you troubleshoot and see if I can replicate your problem. After the update of flash, I tried the same sample in SeaMonkey and IE (Ugh). Both worked. I am running Win7, 32-bit for this test. Acrobat version is not relevant for the problem.
If this does not point to something for you, then more information on what you are defining as working may be needed. At this point, I see no issues on my end and can not replicate a fault. Firefox is now at 18.0.2 and Flash is at 11.6. It is interesting that it is listed as Shockwave Flash from Adobe in the plugins list. If you search for Shockwave Flash, Adobe indicates a version at 12.0. I am not sure about the difference.
Maybe some of this will help.

     Press the "Delete All" button.
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

   The next step is important.
   Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
   If it doesn’t quit, Force Quit it.
   Press command + option + esc keys together at the same time. Wait.
   When Force Quit window appears, select the application if not already.
   Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window. Wait.
   Application will quit.
    Follow the prompts and install it.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security

We set up Airprint to our Xerox machine but we have codes set up so each department has to enter their code in before they print. Airprint will not work because we have the codes. Does any one know if there is a way to override this?

Our Xerox rep helped us set up Airprint to our copier machine. We have department codes set up on our copier so when any one goes to copy or print something they need to punch their code in. Airprint will not work because we have those codes (something prints out to the copier saying error due to accounting codes being set up). if you want a local test/development setup of Oracle why don't you just install Oracle 11gR2 XE (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/products/express-edition/downloads/index.html) ?
If you install this you get a database, APEX (4.1), client etc all in one install, this includes a webserver (EPG) on port 8080 without having to configure anything. It's a simple next-next-next installation without much configuration.
If you would like to seperate database and software you can always do this later when you understand the concepts of database/control files etc.
If you would like to upgrade to APEX 4.2 you can download this afterwards and easily install this by running two scripts in SQL*Plus ( apexins.sql and apxldimg.sql ), just check the apex 4.2 installtion guid section EPG for this.

b.t.w. If you're running windows 7 - 64 bits just use the 32 bits XE for windows, might get some warnings but you should be able to install and run, good enough for test/dev

Assuming you are not manually managing your music, verify the following:
You are using the latest version of iTunes
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library you have checked all the songs you want to sync to your phone
There are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
You have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize this computer)
You have checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings
When everything looks correct, sync your phone.

I stumbled upon the solution. In addition to downloading Creative Cloud, I needed to go back to the website and download trials for the programs I want to use--Photoshop and Lightroom. Once I did that, I was in business. Would save trouble if that was made clear on the download site.

The following line tells me that this is not a template file, but a document created from a template called index.dwt

This means that you saved a child document as a template file at some stage.
If you go to Modify->Templates->Detach from Template, you can remove the template structure from your document. All you then need to do is to re-save the document as a template.
