Flash 11 won't load
Been trying to load lastest version of Flash and it either stops partway with a box stating that can't find ImUilsU.dll, and then doesn't complete the download. Other times I get a timeout message at 12%.
I'm running a windowsXP professional system on an older machine.
Have tried turning off the NOD virus protection but that didn't help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
I tried again to load and it gave a message in the (Adobe Flash Player Installer) Download Timeout, message occurred at 12%
I've been unable to copy the information in the FlashInstall Log to the message board whenever I try the ctrl+v I get, C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\ Flash
I'll try typeing it out in a word doc and do a a copy and paste from it

Please help. Flash file won't load on page that contains a form
Hi and thank you for viewing this post. I have a site located at http://www.marquis-online.com. If you wish to see the code, it's on the "contact us" page, or I have also attached the actual HTML document.. You will notice that I have a form on the page as well as the flash banner. When I take the form off, the flash works (Like on the other pages), but when the form is on the page, the flash banner won't load. It seems as though I can't have both on the same page. I don't get it. I would greatly appreciate some input. Thank you so much.
KevinIt works OK for me in Firefox. Which browser(s) have you tested it on?
Flash form scripts may be conflicting with banner scripts. I don't know. Also, you have some validation errors on the page. Start by fixing those.

Flash website won't load in IE since installing Wordpress
I have a flash website that's been running fine, but since I installed Wordpress on that server, the SWFs won't load from Internet Explorer. It still works fine in Firefox on both the Mac and Windows platforms. The Flash website is not associated with the WP blog at all, but it exists along side. I tried moving the blog folder up a level, farther away from the Flash site, but it didn't help. IE will see the index page, and the html elements, but no longer will load the flash. It's was working fine before. I should mention that there is also a b2 evolution blog installed in another directory on the server, if that makes any difference.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Thank you for any suggestions!Sorry for posting, I'm an idiot I made some edits to my index.html file and forgot to save out that pesky .js file that IE needs. It's just coincidence that I happened to install Wordpress the same day. Oh well, everythings OK now!

Flash Player won't load game in Facebook using Google Chrome
I have a Windows 7, 32 bit. I like to use Google Chrome. I have one game that won't load. I have went through all the troubleshooting steps. I noticed that the settings won't save the "use unlimited" setting. I have changed it several times and everytime I go back its back on 0. Help please.
Besides posting over on Google's forums, you might also want to try closing your browsers and deleting the following folder:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com

I'm using Windows 7 with everything updated as well.

When I try to play a slide containing a flash video the following error message appears: "The flash video cannot be loaded. The output may not be proper." The file is a flash file that was converted in AME. What might be preventing this video from loading?
I had this happen once and even though the
property panel looked correct, I deleted
the video from the slide and added it back in.
I was able to then play the video. -

I was playing an escalating flash game when it froze my
browser. A flash error window popped up saying "A script is causing
your computer to slow down and it may become unresponsive. Click
yes to terminate the script." I did, but it seems the change was
permanent as many flash documents that use scripts (so mostly
games) won't get past the first tenth of the loading bar.Sorry, no good. I used the administrator version as I suppose I am my own administrator. The appearance was a bit different, the result just the same.
I am beginning to think it is something very elementary and stupid that I am doing. As it is I am just fed up with the whole thing. If I could get it to load on any other brower would change. -
Flash page won't load in Safari
I have an IMac G5 (not intel based). I created a flash page for my website (www.oh-sad-she.com). The page will not load in Safari. All I get is a shockwave macromedia icon. Then, when I pull down the activity menu in safari, I get this message:
http://www.oh-sad-she.com/ 2 of 3 items (1 error)
http://www.oh-sad-she.com/favicon.ico not found
http://www.oh-sad-she.com/index.swf plug-in cancelled
The page works fine in Firefox. (I also notice though, that the page will not load in ANY other Safari browser, not just mine...ie: at work, others computers)
Can anyone please help!??
I would love to get this straightened out so I could finish my website.
(I've published flash pages before, and they work fine in Safari. It is just this page, would it be something I did differently when creating the flash/swf document?? Or is it safari?)
Thank you so much in advance!Hi,
Try adding TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" to the embed tag.
This Adobe page has a some information on other things to try.
Macromedia Flash OBJECT and EMBED tag syntax.
Hope that helps. -
Adobe flash player won't load on my Mac
I got a notification on my MAC OS X 10.6.8 saying to upload the latest version of Adobe flash player.
I went ahead (then restarted the computer) but since then all my applications have been blocked, saying "blocked plug in".
Took advice and uninstalled any previous Adobe flash players from the Applications folder - then resinstalled the up to date Flash Player.
Restarted the PC again, but its made no difference. Safari still won't accept the Flash Player, my applications file shows that no Adobe Flash Player is installed and its now rendering my applications unusable.
I've been advised that Apple make the Adobe flashplayer update mandatory in order to continue using the MAC - frustrating to say the least !Thank you for your answer.
I have un-installed all flash players. I went into a page where it confirms that if the "grey box below is blank" this confirms you have no flash player installed.
The message now says I need to install a flash player to run (whichever) app and to "click here".
I do so, the Adobe flash goes through stage of 1-2-3 and the usual box shows the download as it is happening, but at the end of it there is still no installation and I continue to get the same message - flash player is needed. (I have restarted the MAC inbetween) -
Adobe flash player won't load my webcam
Regarding Lion OS X 10.7.1; I'm on a website that uses Adobe Flash player to use my webcam but it won't work.
I did some research and enabled Java (see screenshot) and even enabled 'applet plug-in and Web Start applications' and I don't even know what that means lol, but I did it anyway.
I've even downloaded the latest Adobe Flash Player (I think it installs automatically) and re-booted, but no good.
I've gone on YIM and the cam works, even on iChat and the webcam can be selected and works.
Any Apple Lion users have any solutions??
Thanks!
users??Hi,
Do you also have the Google Video/Voice plug-in ? (For Web Chatting with Video on the Google Web Mail or iGoogle pages)
This has been known to conflict with Flash.

Flash Player won't load games in Facebook
Why are my FB games loading or only partially loading? I am using Flash Player 11.9.9 on Windows XP 32-bit operating system with Mozilla Firefox browser. My flash player information shows plug-in installed but Acitve X not installed. Is this correct for this version? I have tried all troubleshooting suggestions from Adobe, Facebook games as well as Zynga Player Support. Please help!!!
Firefox DOESN'T USE ActiveX. ONLY Internet Exploder uses ActiveX.
Download the uninstallers and installers directly by right clicking the following links and selecting "Save Link as"(Firefox).
Flash Player Uninstaller
Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Shockwave Player 12 FULL Installer
Save the files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.
Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything, go to the Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLERS to removeFlash Player and Shockwave.
Next, run the Shockwave FULL installer, and then the Flash Player (All other browsers) Installer.
