Flash 9: can't install.

I'm trying to install the latest flash player prompted by
Internet Explorer. It fails.
I tried:
Everything on
http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_19166
(unistall previous versions, check IE settings, download and
run SubInACL like explained on
http://www.adobe.com/go/fb1634cb,
Download file)
When I run the file the error appears when "registering
c:\windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9e.ocx
I went to that folder and see this files: install.log and
KB923789.inf

  • Just got a kindle fire hd and no flash? can I install it?

how can I install flash on my new kindle fire he?

One option that seems to resolve the problem with Kindles connecting to the AirPort is to change the Radio Mode on the 2.4 GHz radio to use the "802.11b/g" setting. Note that this would impact any 802.11n clients on this frequency by effectively reducing their data rate to a maximum of 54 Mbps.
You would change the Radio Mode setting in the AirPort Utility, as follows:
AirPort Utility > Select the Extreme > Edit > Wireless tab > Wireless Options
    Radio Mode: 802.11a/n - 802.11b/g
    Click on Update.

  • Can't install Adobe Flash Player, can't install Adobe Flash Player, can't install Adobe Flash Player

For some reason I can't install Adobe Flash Player.

This is a community forum focused on MacBook Pro Hardware.  Adobe publishes Flash, and they are the ones who would be best to contact about these issues.  Here's some info from the Adobe website:

  • Problème installation flash player / can't install flash player

hello , when i try to install flash player on my MAC ( 10.9.4)  , the downloading process disappear immediately after starting , it shortly show the 0 percent then disappear so i can't install flash player.
What could i do to fix this ?

    1. Restart your computer to stop any Adobe process that may be running.
    2. The Adobe link below may help with the install:
Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac
Go to the bottom of the page where it says, "Still having problems" and click on the correct link for your browser.
If this works, Bookmark or save the link in case you need it in the future.

  • Two users on computer - each must download Adobe Flash & wife can't install as not the Administrator.

    Firefox 6.0.2, Win7.
After I download Adobe Flash Player on my user account (administrator) and 'switch user' or 'log off' Adobe Flash is not installed in my wife's account (test by trying to view youtube.com). As Administrator, I can download Adobe Flash in her account, verify with Youtube, log off or switch users and sign in to my account - Adobe is 'not there' as verified by Youtube. In either account, Flash is in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash but Firefox 'can't find.' Note - say some discussion that SysWOW64 is 64 bit and Adobe Flash is 32. Is Shockwave Flash part of the issue? Thanks

I found a similar question and found a solution!
If anyone else sees this with the same problem here's what to do:
    Go to this link:
    https://www.adobe.com/au/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
Download the version for your OS.
Install program - takes about 2 seconds! Very easy fix!

  • Flash Player can't install

I don't know if this question is supposed to be on this forum.
Adobe Flash Player says that it is installed after download, but it never can be found or work. Anything needed to use Flash Player says I need to download it. I have tried to download it many times. No problem on my other Mac with Snow Leopard. Any ideas?
    Thanks

If all browsers - you've no Flash in Home /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ ? (inside your account)
Does this means that both "Flash Player.plugin" and "flashplayer.xpt" should be in both locations? (Macintosh hd/ Library / ...) and the account library?
I only have it in the machintosh hd location, and I am having some problems with flash and firefox... (I cannot click to chose to accept to use my microphone for example...)
    thanks!

  • Max flash card can be installed in 3620 router?

As far as I know, there are 2 types of Flash memory in 3620. 2 slots for SIMM inside,2 slots for CF card memory on Front panel.
SIMM sticks can be used in both 2600series and 3600series with a max single bank capacity of 16MB.(MEM3600-32FS doesn't work on 3620).
So that's SIMM DRAM sticks have different kinds, those for 2500 can't be used on 2600 or 3600.
Correct me if I am wrong.
What about CF card? Are they all the same except capacity, which means I can get a CF card can be used on any router with PC slot?
Is there also a max capacity limitation?
    on http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/3600/hardware/notes/PCMCIA.html,it mentioned MEM3600-4FC=, MEM3600-8FC=, MEM3600-16FC=, MEM3600-20FC=
    my question are
1.is there a specific kind of CF card for 3600 series or I can use any CF card for Cisco equipment(so I don't need to worry about MEM3600)?
    2.Does 3600(to be specific,3620) support CF card over 20MB?
I've never used CF Flash memory in Cisco routers before so I've no idea whether Im getting the right thing.
I've used CF micro hard-drive(4GB or 8GB) before,so what's the difference between the CF cards for regular use(like portable storage or camera) and the Cisco CF memory card.Obviously they have different slots(regular CF is way bigger),why the memory is still called CF and what's the connection with PCMCIA?Is it the same slot as those in laptops?
I guess CF is a storage or flash memory type, and PCMCIA(PC) is the slot standard. Then what's the slot of regular CF storage card?
I read a bunch of documents about these stuff and get really confused.
    Thanks.

2 slots for CF card memory on Front panelErrrr ... 3600 routers do NOT use Compact Flash (CF).  This particular model uses PCMCIA Flash memory cards.  CF was used starting from the 3700 and 2690.
Correct me if I am wrong. You are correct.  Parts exclusive to the 3600 can't be used anywhere else.
What about CF card? Are they all the same except capacity, which means I can get a CF card can be used on any router with PC slot? For the 3700 and 2691 the max size of the CF is 1Gb, 2Gb for  ISR G1 and 8 Gb for ISR G2.
I've used CF micro hard-drive(4GB or 8GB) before,so what's the difference between the CF cards for regular use(like portable storage or camera) and the Cisco CF memory card.
3620/3640/3660 routers use PCMCIA Flash cards (Type II).  Later generations use COMPACT Flash (CF) cards.
Don't forget to rate useful posts.  Thanks.

  • Adobe Flash Player: Can't install, can't uninstall

The title says it all. I keep being prompted to "Update Adobe Flash Player right now". However, when I use the download links provided, I end up getting the message, "An  error has occurred...." Then, when I try to clean the slate by uninstalling the versions already in my computer, I get the same message: "An error has occurred...."
One thing I've learned is that Adobe's support service is a waste of time, for me, at any rate. This forum is my only hope, because I am unwilling to waste more hours going in circles trying to follow the "help" Adobe provides. Oh, one last thing. Here is the core of the error message I get.
    ffmpeg: av_find_stream_info failed
    ps: cannot peek
main: no suitable demux module for `/:///Users/warrenjones/Downloads/install_flash_player_osx_ub-11.dmg'
    Does that clarify things?

Thanks, but I finally did what I should have done in the beginning, but didn't, simply because the obvious hadn't occurred to me.  All that I had to do was drag and trash everything  having to do with Adobe Flash Player. After I did that, the download off the latest Flash version went smoothly.  Sometimes we make things too difficult by overlooking the simplest solution.. Anyway, thanks again.
    Regards,
    Warren Jones

  • With Flash CC can I install it on both my PC and Mac?

Title says it all. I vaguely remember reading that I could but now I can't find it anywhere. From what I remember it was ok to do this as long as the program wasn't being used simultaneously on both machines.

  • How can I install Flash Player 11.7 on my Mac?

I've been trying to install Adobe Flash Player 11.7. on my Mac for months. Finally, today I decided to "take the bull by the horns" and have spent several hours trying to get to the bottom of the problem -- to no avail. I've followed every support directive on Google, on Mac Support, and on Adobe Support and Forums (so difficult to use, by the way). Now my computer has NO Flash Player; I've uninstalled it as directed in one step of the process.
    I'm running a MacBook Pro, OS X, 10.6.8
    My browser is Mozilla Firefox

  • Like others, I can't install Adobe Flash. I can only get to the grey/black box

    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Internet Explorer 11
This started a month ago when an update wouldn't install.
I worked all today on this and read everything. Can't get it to install.
In an attempt to start over I uninstalled Flash but can't install anything.
Must restart the PC to get rid of the grey/black box.
    Help and thanks.

We spent some time last week digging into this with a few people, and from what I've seen, the issue is that you need to pick up the latest Certificate Authority root certificates.
CAs are companies that validate that software publishers and the software that they publish is legitimate.  They mark code as approved by issuing a cryptographic certificate to the companies they approve.  The companies then use that certificate to sign their code.  Your computer checks to see that the code was signed by us and was not modified in transit, and also derives the root certificate authority that issued the key, and validates that our certificate was signed by a legitimate CA (who would typically validate that we're an actual company and that the employees requesting the certificate are authorized to do so).
The root CA certificates change every few years, and you need to pick up the most current set.  Typically you would get these through Windows Update, but it seems like a number of people don't have them.  The following guide tells you how to pick up the latest copy for your particular OS version.
How to get a Root Certificate update for Windows
I'd really appreciate feedback on whether or not applying these updates allows the other installer that you downloaded (aih_<whatever>_install_flash_player.exe) to work correctly.
    Thanks!

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.
