Flash Album export using bananalbum

This function is really useful but what I want to acheive so far isn't.
I would really like to be able to export my images from aperture to a flash album using the banana album plug in without the banana album intro splash appearing. I have a full licensed version of the Bananalbum web gallery which I use with JAlbum software. It would be excellent if I could use the flash album export in aperture in tandem with the plug in I use in Jalbum.
Is this possible?

Are you using the exporter which is available for download at http://rudinswagerman.nl/weblog/index.php?id=169 ?
You can install your license in this exporter by right-clocking the plugin, click 'Show package Contents', and replace the BananAlbum.swf at 'Contents/Resources/BananAlbum' with your license.
After exporting an album, you can change settings in the settings file, to be found in the 'res' folder... Or... replace the settings.xml with one you've created with Jalbum.

  • Flash Album Exporter in iFrame problem. Greybox not working as expected

    Hello all,
I've searched and I can't find the solution or any info on the problem elsewhere.
I've used Flash Album Exporter for the grey box effect. This appears perfectly here
    http://web.me.com/james.veitch/BoxReviews.index.html
However, it's aligned to the left hand side; I can't get it to centre and there's more text I want to put on. So I thought I'd put it in an iFrame. The moment I do that, things go wrong. Here
    http://web.me.com/james.veitch/KeatsinHampstead/Home2.html
For some reason it won't load the images. What am I doing wrong? Also, is there any way to change the thumbnail images?
    Thanks in advance,
    James.

    James:
First, I can't get your first link to work. Removing the ".index.html" from the link does get the flash to load and play.
For some reason that particular flash presentation won't work in an iFrame/HTML snippet. Have you tried using a different FAE theme to see if you can get it to work in the iFrame. I've been able to get several to work in my demo sites: SimpleViewer and Flash Album Exporter and Flash Album Exporter Postcard and AutoViewer Slideshow Themes.

  • Flash album exporter plug-in

I used to use Flash Album Exporter happily until the last update of Aperture - i'm now running 2.1.4. Now when i try to export with it aperture quits. Has anyone got any ideas on how to make 2.1.4 play nice with Flash Album Exporter, or have any alternative means to create a flash photo gallery from Aperture?
    Thanks!

  • Using type, with Flash Album Exporter

Hello. I just discovered this plugin, and it works great. Is there an easy way to incorporate type into the albums?
    thanks

Not in the flash portion of the slide presentation but you can embed the SimpleViewer flash slideshow in an iWeb page which has the navbar at the top. The following demo pages have examples of several of the FAE themes embedded:

  • Flash Album Exporter 1.5 Download?

Hi, has anyone had any success downloading this plugin. I try downloading at this link http://flashalbumexporter.home.comcast.net/~flashalbumexporter/aperture/aperture Download/apertureDownload.html and it doesn't seem to work or exist. Does anyone know where I can download it from or have it please? Would like to change the photo galleries on my website to flash ones!
    Thanksyou

I tried downloading and it did not work for me as well. I have version 1.5 but downloaded it some time ago. I would contact the author of the exporter, the other links at the site seem to work but the download link appears broken. Sorry I could not help you more. Here is the email for correspondence. • Final Cut Pro to Flash  -- Inserting and Using Cue Points

I want to export a flash video using File - Export - Using Quick Time Conversion and selecting Flash. Under options for Flash, I see something about "Cue Points".
My assumption is that these would be points that you can insert that are similar to chapter markers and that you could have the Flash player on a web page jump back and forth between them.
Does anyone know of any documentation on inserting these points in Final Cut export? I couldn't figure it out. It looks like you give them a name and a timecode. I could not enter the timecode.
How about over on the player side? I assume some sort ActionScript in Flash is required. Has anyone seen a simple example/tutorial of these capabilities?

Apart from disabling time machine, iCal and any other programs or applications from taking focus. Time machine and software updates can certainly be told not to try as far as I recall.

  • Artwork doesn't transfer to my Kingston flash drive for use in my car.

I am transferring songs to my Kingston flash drive for use in my car.  When I copy them from my folder and drop them in the flash drive the album artwork doesn't transfer.  I deleted the artwork from the songs of 1 CD, saved a jpg to my desktop and added to each individual song which works but would be crazy to do for all of the songs.  I am running ITunes 11.05.
I've looked in the communities but couldn't find anything about this.  Is there a way to revert back to ITunes 10?

Placing your iPhone in the toilet was the correct thing to do but you should have purchased an android phone instead. That would have solved these issues. :-)

Scroll Down - its about mid page
This is on the intro page:
Note: You must have Flash MX Professional 2004 installed on
your machine to use the Flash Video Exporter with your video
editing application. The only exception is using the exporter in
    Demo Mode.

  • Flash AVI Export Problem

I am trying to export a short Flash animation that uses a
snowflake effect. The animation exports fine other than the snow
does not fall in the AVI. The snow actionscript and symbol are on
seperate layers, both in the first frame of the animation.
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks in advance,

nope - this won't do it - in fact no actionscript based
animation of any kind will render to
fixed-frame rate video format as of flash 8. You will need a
3rd party app like SWF2Video by

  • Announcement: Picasa web albums exporter finally updated for iPhoto 7

Whew, it sure took long enough!
Google's Picasa Web Albums Exporter for iPhoto is finally updated to be compatible with iPhoto 7 (iLife '08). I tested it quickly and it worked like a champ. I only see 1 new feature: an option to convert iPhoto keywords into Picasa Web Albums tags.
    Download it here:
    http://picasa.google.com/intl/enus/web/mactools.html
    - Steve -
ps, sorry if this doesn't really belong in this discussion, but I know lots of us have been waiting patiently for this update.

I want to use Picasa Web Albums to share photos with friends and let them pick out, download and print a decent resolution photo. I use the Picasa (plug in I think) / Export to upload the photos from iPhoto. It lets me pick quality to upload, but I notice that when downloaded from the web album, the highest comes in at 180dpi with a 3264px x 2448 px pixel dimension - is this sufficient for a 5 x 7 print or possibly a 8 x 10 print?
What resolution do you want to print at? Decide and multiply
    5x7 at 300 dpi = 1500x2100 needed -- at 150 dpi = 750x1050
    8x10 at 300 dpi = 2400x3000 etc
If possible I want to save bandwith and storage space by uploading at a lower resolution, the smallest they offer (when downloaded from the site) is 72dpi at 1000px x 750 px and the medium is 72 dpi at 1600 x 1200 px.
Note that dpi is meaningless for a digital file - dpi is Dots Per Inch so until you set inches (print size) dpi is just a meaningless number and can be totally ignored
see the Myth of DPI for more information - http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/mythdpi.html

  • Html link to specific photo in flash web export

I want to send someone links to specific images in my flash web export. I know I can direct them to the source image file, but I want them to see it in the flash export interface. Is there a way I can make a duplicate copy of the index.html and edit the start image and save as another name, or would I have to copy and alter the flash file?

You can't do a direct link to the image witht the built-in Flash movie. If you need to do this often, consider getting the SlideShowPro web engine and switching on "permalinks".
But to resolve your existing problem, it is fiddly. I assume you want the rest of the web gallery to work, so copy the index.html file, and then look for a folder called resources\mediaGroupData and make a copy of the file group.xml, so you have two xml files in that folder. What you would need to do is edit this "copy.xml" so it only lists your picture. Then back to your copy of index.html and replace any references to group.xml with copy.xml. I told you it was fiddly!

  • Why do Sony DSC-RX100M3 raw files look strange in PE9 when flash has been used in the shot?

I have just bought a Sony DSC-RX100M3 camera and use it to shoot raw + jpeg.  I want to use the raw files in my Photoshop Elements 9, which has the Camera Raw plug-in version 6.5.0.216 installed. I have downloaded the Adobe DNG converter version 8.7.1.311 so I can import my Sony raw files into PE 9 as they cannot be used directly. Most of the time these raw files look OK, but when I use the flash on my camera and then look at the raw files in PE9 they look far more pink than the corresponding jpeg files. The jpeg files look more or less as I remember the scene when I shot the picture.
When I look at the same raw and jpeg files in Sony's own Image Data Converter software (version 4.2.04.17270) the raw and jpeg files look very similar to one another, and there is no pink colour cast in the raw file.
What am I doing wrong in Photoshop Elements? I though the DNG converter keeps all the information from the original raw file and makes no changes to it, so why does the raw file look so different when flash has been used?
Thanks for any help you can give!
    AVM

Looking at the pictures of the camera online, I'd say there is no lens shade--a device to keep light from the sides from causing lens flare--and the camera lens, itself, was just too far extended and there was a lens shadow.  You probably can't use the flash that close up and should back off and zoom in further.  Experimenting would give you a sense of what situations will have a shadow of the lens or not.
Your ACR plug-in is old enough not use have Process Version 2012, yet, only 2010 and 2003 so Adobe didn't have the idea to put the selector down next to the camera profile. The toning options are better with Process 2012 so that would be a reason to upgrade, but I am not sure that the Camera Neutral profile in PSE9 would be different than PSE13.  If Adobe changed the camera profiles then people's pictures would look different once they upgraded to a new version and that's not something that's supposed to happen.
You can certainly download the PSE13 trial and see if things look any different, but they may not:  Download a free trial or buy Adobe products | Adobe downloads   There would be newer minimum OS version requirements for the newer versions of Adobe software so check those out before trying to install, unless you're on Windows 7+ or OSX 10.8+ then it should be fine.
One more thing, the White-Balance tint is set to +10 by the camera:
This As Shot WB is more magenta and even when using the Adobe Standard profile, moving the Tint down to +0 makes things a little more green like your camera JPG.  So there is more than just changing the camera profile that you can do:
