you can't assign active notes to any of the one touch keys. you can assign other built-in apps or 3rd party apps you install but you just won't find active notes.
nokia, please fix the one touch keys once and for all will youI have Active Notes (not just notes) on the right selection key of my E72 (s/w v. 052.05), and they _are_ on the list. Perhaps the upgrades are region-dependent - I waited quite a while for my update (Danish/Norwegian/Icelandic/English).
Sorry, but I daren't select another function and go back to see if I can select Active Notes again, but they _are_ there now, but were taken over from the previous s/w version in my backup.

I wouldn't even consider troubleshooting WCS problems if your WCS is running 5.X because WCS/WLC firmwares 5.X are very, very buggy. -
How to Check Characterstic Values assigned for a material

My requirement is , to check each and every material entered in the selection screen and characterstic values assigned to this,
I dont need characterstic values for a material, i have to check whether characterstic values assigned or not , if not i have to give a message..
I used CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS FM for getting charactersic values
it is giving NO classification found , but for tghat material classification is existing subsequently characterstic values are also there, i passed material no with leading zeros also.
i used WMCL_MAT_READ_CHAR_VALUES FM also , but it is giving No charcterstic values found for that Material but characterstic values are assigned for that Material..

Using Win 7 home deluxe, was using Flash player no problem until the office had me uninstall it to fix another problem but now will not reinstall, keeps insisting on installing Mc Afee alongside it and then Mc Afee won't install correctly and won't allow Flash Player to install either.
Have repeatedly uninstalled the full Adobe free software suite, and Mc Afee and started from the beginning have tried using the 32 bit IE instead of thr 64 bit, when the window comes up showing the registration it only shows the Quit button will not let me use the Agree or Install button and again and again it keeps installing Mc Afee without being asked, I don't use or need Mc Afee as have Nortons. I have also been turning off the norton antivrus while doing the installation as i know that can interfere with it.
been trying this on and off for some days now, multiple times, and I do need to get this fixed I would appreciate some advice thanks
TYes Friend and I posted a message of thanks also which I'm very pleased to send to you personally, the missing link was that little check box you mentioned, I had done the install or tried to many times but never seen that small box so that was the problem.

bug fix for watson 2887837 Not getting duplicate session detected error when same flex client id is used from two different HTTP sessions in CRX.
get the sessions id before we invalidate the duplicate session.

Believing that remoting was full asynchronous we fired a 2 or 3 remote calls to the server at the same time ( within the same function ) - usually when the users goes to a new section of the app.
This seemed to trigger the duplicate http session error since according to http://blogs.adobe.com/lin/2011/05/duplication-session-error.html two remote calls arriving before a session is created will cause 2 sessions to be created.
Our current solution ( too early to say it works ) is to daisy chain the multiple calls together .
Also there seemed to be an issue where mobile apps that never quit ( thanks Apple! ) caused the error when activated after a few hours.
I guess the session expires on the server and the error above occurs on activation.
So the mobile apps now ping the server with a remote call when activated after sleeping for more than one hour.
All duplicate http errors are silently caught and reported.
Fingers crossed we won't get any more! -

when run the t.code RERAPP I am receiving the error below:
"Problem description: = Contract number XXXXX during the simulation and update run processing in tcode RERAPP is showing this message in the error log " Flow Type S013 acct determ. value: account symbol not assigned".
I´d like to know the steps to configure the the account symbol.

Unfortunately I don´t have an access in Production to verify the error, I have only the log display sent to me by the user.
At a glance, I have a contract and the error message: "FLOW TYPE S013 accont. determ. value: account symbol not assigned"
I have verified the customizing and I can see the flow type S013.
My questions are:
Which account determination value should I use?
Which flow type name?
which debit account symbol?
which credit account symbol?
On this case, probably the user is using the t.code RERAPP and is using a symbol account that is not maintened in the conffiguration?
I don´t but if need, I can raise a OSS note.

[Bug: JComboBox + JNavigationBinding] Two entries with same attr. values
Given the folowing situation:
A straightforward ViewObject + table (ID, NAME) + some contents.
However, the table contains 2 records which have the same value for NAME.
Now, in my JClient application I drop a JComboBox on a JPanel and define that it should have a NavigationBinding with the ViewObject, while displaying the Name attribute.
Because the table holds 2 records with the same value for the column NAME, there will be 2 identical items in the JComboBox. However, I am now unable to select the 2nd duplicate from the list. When I do, the selection (and thus currency) will always be set to the 1st of both duplicates.
This problem can be reproduced in the JClient demo application, on the "JULabel demo tab". Just add an existing state (with a unique abbreviation) to the database and alter the NavigationBinding to display the Name attribute instead of the Abbreviation attribute.I've tried the application again, but the problem still exists unfortunately.
For the record, the problem occurs both with the original JDK 1.3.1_02 and the current 1.4.0_01. The fact that I run JDev itself with either of these 2 JDK's doesn't seem to make any difference either.

When I update(overwrite) a record in database, I may get a DB_SECONDARY_BAD exception,
What's worse, This case doesn't always occures, it's random. So I think it probably a bug
of BDB, I have seen many issues about DB_SECONDARY_BAD with BDB4.5,4.6...
To reproduce the issue, I make a simplified test program from my real program.
The data to be stroed into database is a class called 'EntryData', It's defined in db_access.h,
where also defines some HighLevel API functions that hide the BDB calls, such as
store_entry_data(), which use EntryData as its argument. The EntryData have a string-type
member-data 'name' and a vector<string>-type mem-data 'labels', So store_entry_data() will
put the real data of EntryData to a contiguous memory block. The get_entry_data() returns
an EntryData builed up from the contiguous memory block fetched from database.
The comlete test program is post following this line:

to get a test program that can insert a record to database.

I've said that the DB_SECONDARY_BAD exception is random. The same operation may cause
exception in one time and may goes well in another time.
As I've test below:

Look! I've received a DB_SECONDARY_BAD exception. But thus exception does not always
happen even under the same operation.
For the exception is random, you may have not the "luck" to get it during your test.
So let's insert a record by:
$ ./test_put t
and then give it a great number of labels:
$ for((i = 0; i != 100; ++i)); do ./test_update t -a "label_$i"; done
and then:
$ for((i = 0; i != 100; ++i)); do ./test_update t -r "label_$i"; done
Thus, the DB_SECONDARY_BAD exception is almost certain to happen.
I've been confused by the problem for times. I would appreciate if someone can solve
my problem.

Flash objects (images/buttons/etc) does not display on some PC's
I am trying to deploy an out of the box web application called the Mid-Tier, where some forms/pages in the application have embedded flash images/buttons/icons that do not display on IE despite the fact that there is Flash installed on these PC's. Most of the PC's are XP.
I suspect it is some of the security settings in IE. Unfortunately security options are disabled to end users so I cannot even get to see what these settings are..
This web application works perfect on some test PC's that have default browser settings and the same flash version installed.
The flash objects appear on these screens as white boxes instead of some control buttons and icons that should have been displayed.,. Hence these pages are non functional.
Any hints?

except the latest Flash Player you have also and the latest Java installed (Next Generation Java Plug-in 10.25.2 for Mozilla browsers) , check if you activate the plugins : [https://support.mozilla.org/el/kb/troubleshoot-issues-with-plugins-fix-problems#w_determining-if-a-plugin-is-the-problem Determining if a plugin is the problem], select always active.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:

I have read the help for each check box but still concept is NOT so clear...
Could you please elaborate me the significan of each check box...
also, couuld you tell me that As per Standerd / Regular Industry Practice, which of the above check boxes should be active and which should not

in some sense there is no "standard" how a company should/can use these check boxes. Both options have pros/cons.
In my opinion best practise is to "set them" (all three) and to prepare a user manual in which this "behaviour" of the system is explained.
From the point of view of "clicks" the number of clicks are nearly the same.
E.g.
if you not activate them you have to set the indicator and you must save the data records and
if you have activated and you would like to take some time to think once again about content of the data record you would remove the active indicator and save (later you must set them again to activate them and save them regarding MSDS etc.).
In any case: to my experience the end user training regarding how to use the usage and what does the active indicator means (as well as the relevancy indicator) is not an easy task.
By the way: there is to my knowledge no corresponding customizing activity in which you can handle how the "relevancy indicator" can be set or not. So in any case (because the existance of an activated relevancy indicator is "driving" change marks in WWI reports) end user need their "time" to understand how to use properly this usage.
Further on they should be familiar in how to use the output variants (because using them you can get an fast overview about there a active indicator is missing etc.)

PS: additionally: the usage on the level of the identifier is "special" in some sense. Keep in mind this (especially in WWI reports). The reason is that the usage on the identifier has been created with EH&S 2.7. So in principle: you need not to use the usage to print a identifier in a WWI report but you should do that (because by using the usage you can additionally control the access rights of users).
PPS: one "strong" pro in my opinion to use the "active" option is this:
If you enter e.g. a source or a user defined text in the data record this information is normally not used in a WWI report. Therefore if you haven't "activated" this in customizing the user must ! set the acitve indicator once again. This means: Any ! change in data record (together with save) will remove the active indicator by standard (without using the three check boxes).
