Flash Builder 4.7 Upgrade license rejection

I recently purchases an upgrade license for Adobe Flash Builder 4.7. The installer accepts my new serial number but then indicates a qualifying product cannot be found to upgrade. It allows me to specify Adobe Flash Builder 4 Standard, and enter my old serial number, but subsequently rejects it with the following error message.
"This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another."
I have tried live chat support multiple times only to be told it is not available. I have a valid licesene, so how do I get around this problem?
Note: It does this regardless of whether I try to install cleanly or on top of my older version.

Flash builder 4.7 upgrade issue from Flash builder 4.5 (key is not valid)

We (Company) are buying Adobe products more than 6-7 years now. We bought the Flash builder premium 4.5 and Flash builder premium 4.5 for PHP volume licence. Now flash builder 4.7 should be complementary upgrade for us. But when we are using Flash builder 4.7 trial version and adding serial number (Flash builder 4.5 serial number), it's just not working and showing a error "key is not valid".
I chat with Adobe customer care 4 different people, they end up saying that let us transfer you to volume licence department and then chat ended. No more chat messages, I checked more than one hour and still no message.
Then I called they, it took 15 mins to connect with customer care. I picked the "upgrade" option from phone menu and then connected with a guy. After listening complete case he forwarded my call to Volume licence executive and the volume licence executive transferred it to some other guy and the other guy redirect it to some specialized person. So total 4 guys. The last guy (specialized) name was Rohit.
This guy Rohit asked me, did I buy a customer support programme (some product about $2.nn.00 )? I said no, we bought volume licenses for Flash builder premium 4.5 ( about $4000.00 ****). He said, sorry sir I can not help you in this, but I can provide you an e-mail address and you can report your concern there. I already passed my 1.5 hour in this conversation. I said okie. He gave me a case number and told me that he will send a email mentioning that email address as per my request I disconnect the phone.
I never get that email address.
Can some one suggest me what to do next. My case number is : 209-788-274.

Flash Builder 4.6 Premium License downgrades to Standard License

I've installed the Flash Builder 4.6. When I start it in demo mode, I get the premium version of Flash Builder (because that is the version I've installed). When I enter a license key that is for a premium version of Flash Builder it gets downgraded to the standard edition. The key is definitly for a premium version, I've checked that at the IT support, and one of my co-workers (we have multi-user license) uses the key for the premium version too.
A side note: I have prevouisly installed Flash Builder 4.6 Premium but I had to uninstall it because it didn't work anymore. I have this license problem with the re-installation of Flash Builder.
Do you have any ideas what is wrong?

I am seeing a similar problem too...
I was using Flash Builder 4.6 on a FB 4.5 Premium serial number.
Upon upgrading to FB 4.7, which required me to enter the new FB 4.7 serial number I was sent, along with my old FB 4.5 serial number in order to qualify for the upgrade, FB 4.7 is now running in standard mode according to the splash screen. Additional trying to use the Run -> Profile menu does not work, it tells me to go learn about buying premium upgrade.
According to http://www.adobe.com/products/flash-builder/buying-guide.displayTab2.html FB 4.5 premium, or 4.6 premium, are supposed to upgrade to FB 4.7 premium at no charge.

Flash builder 4.7 upgrade

Has any one filled out the "Flash Builder 4.7 is a complimentary update from version 4.5." and heard back from Adobe? I did it last week, on tuesday or wednesday and haven't heard anything? it says you should expect to recieve the key within 2 working days?
I've been using the trial of FB4.7 anyhow, just wondered if anyone has heard back?

i never got an email from adobe with the serial number but i did get an email saying the raised support ticket had been closed (after about 5 days).
when i logged into adobe.com with my adobe id, the serial number was in the closed ticket details in support section.
adobe have always been crap at customer service unfortunately - things never run smoothly

Cannot apply Flash Builder 4.7 Premium upgrade license

We purchased Flash Builder 4.7 Premium upgrade license. When we entered the new key and then the original 4.0 Premium license key, it said "This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try again.". From the License Certificate paperwork we have, it does show the serial number is for Flash Builder 4.0 Premium. Could anyone help?

We do have either 4 or 6 seat license. We only have 1 developer left for this project so only 1 upgrade license was purchased.
Does our Flash builder 4.0 premium license qualify for the upgrade offer? If not how do we upgrade?

How to promote Free User to a Team User License on Flash Builder v4.7?

Recently, we brought CC Team License. At present whatever the Flash builder 4.7 we installed is a standalone setup i.e; not installed using Creative Cloud.
However, later I installed the CC (as a Free User ID) and the same Flash builder 4.7 is recognized by the CC. But, It was expired now.
Now my question is how this Flash builder normal free user license will be upgraded to CC Team User License?
I know some invite by email from admin console. Does it make any difference for standalone and CC based installations?
Do i have to reinstall the Flash Builder otherwise?

It's same with me, i also using Google Nexus 7(2013). Just a simple default apps with nothing created by Flash Builder, it get error and not working！

Flash Builder 4.7 Premium upgrade

Hi,
I have been using my FB 4.7 Standard Edition for more than a year and now I would like to upgrade to FB 4.7 Premium Edition. I checked on your website and there was no option to Upgrade from 4.7 Standard Edition to Premium. If I select "I own FB 4.5 Standard", the price I need to buy is $499 which is way to expensive for an upgrade (while FB 4.7 Premium Edition only costs about $600).
Can you please confirm how I can upgrade my current version to Premium version?

Integrating Licensing without Flash Builder

I posted a question about InMarket SDK for JavaScript developers before:

So I checked the answered documentation and tried to integrate licensing into my AIR application I made with only JavaScript.
BUT, according to the document, it seems that Flash Builder is required for the licensing integration.
Do I have to buy Flash Builder just for the licensing? It's very expensive for me. Is there any way to integrate without Flash Builder?

You don't have to buy Flash Builder. You can user Flex and AIR SDK that is available for free. If you use Flash Builder the process is simpler, but its possible for you to use the free tools and achieve the same results.
Here are the steps you can follow:

4) Follow out tutorial on building AJAX apps for InMarket, but use the AIR command line compiler and packager tools as opposed to using Flash Builder.

Is Adobe planning to provide educational licenses for Flash Builder too?

When Flash Builder 4 is released, we will be having educational license for it as well. Are you trying to enter your educational license into Flash Builder 4? Your license is probably specific to Flex Builder 3, however, we'll soon be posting to this site how you can extend your FB 4 trial using your FB 3 license.

Flash Builder 4.7 Premium offline installer

Where can I find offline installer for Flash Builder 4.7 Premium. I have to backup all application installers in my company (regarding web development) and I can't find it anywhere on adobe.com. Is there any chance to get installer after downloading it via Adobe Creative Cloud app or is there direct link?

Flash Builder 4 Premium reverts to trial version for SDK 4.5.1.

My setup:
Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6
Flash Builder 4 Premium, Version 4.0 (build 272416), volume license
SDK 4.5.1, Flex 3 compatibility mode enabled
RIATest 4.3 Professional
RIATest compiled-in agent: RIATestAgent3.swc
When running RIATest against our application to perform automated tests, I eventually get this alert appearing in our application:

This alert never appeared until we upgraded from SDK 3.4.1 to SDK 4.5.1. This problem occurs on Windows 7 and Mac OS X. I updated our code to disable Flex 3 compatibility and use the RIATest agent, RIATestAgent4.swc. This did not change the outcome. Since this is an Adobe licensing issue, there is nothing the makers of RIATest (Cogitek) can do to help me other than to tell me to press the matter with Adobe. I'm using the same legitimate/legal/valid Flash Builder Premium and RIATest licenses as I've been using for a year now.

In order for you to downgrade you need to hava an AVL license, and yes it is possible, you just need to call support.

Flash Builder is beta software, this means it is in a final testing
phase and is not yet available to buy. From the Flash Builder download
page on adobe labs:
"These beta installers will time out in 30 days. If you are an existing
Flex Builder 3 customer, Adobe will email you a serial number that will
extend the beta so you can continue testing. You will receive this email
21 days after your download. If you do not receive the email and hold a
valid Flex Builder 3 license, you can request the extension serial
number <http://www.adobe.com/go/flashbuilderextension> here by entering
your Flex Builder 3 serial number"
So if you do not have a licensed version of Flex Builder 3 you only get
30-days. Once it has expired you have the following options:
1) Wait until Flash Builder is released and then buy it (you may be
waiting for several months).
2) Buy Flex Builder 3 now so that you can apply for a 21 day license
extension for Flash Builder beta.

Limit record and replay when use flash build 4 premium.

I am trying flex automation in our company via iTest. the product is developed and built by flash builder 4 premium(not the trial version).
There is a prompt like ""License not present. With the trial verison only limited replays/record are allowed" when I record/replay the tests.
Perhttp://forums.adobe.com/message/251183#251183, it is caused by the trial version of Flash builder. But actually we do use the flash build4 premium to compile the application.
Anyone got this problem? Can you provide some input this? thanks a lot.

One more thing need your confirmation. If I got following picture in Deactivation page, it means the FB4 premium is with license, right?
I clicked suspend activation in my PC and it showed suspending activation is successful. But when I re-start Flash builder, I still get following page. I am wondering if this flash builder is still with licensing.

Where can I download a copy of Flash Builder 4.6?

I still need design view and am migrating to a new workstation. I have a copy of Master Collection CS 5.5- and need the Flash Builder 4.6 upgrade.
Where can I find this? I have downloaded 4.7 but I see no productivity enhancement for my current workflow and would like to continue with 4.6.

Unhelpfully, if you want the last version for PPC Macs, you need to go here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html and scroll down to 'Archived Versions/Older Archives'. The first one on the list, Flash Player 10.1 is the one you download. More information here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/838/cpsid_83808.html
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
