Thank you very much! It was indeed! I was using Chrome and in both computers was giving me the error:
"We're sorry, we encountered an error processing your request."
Now I used Firefox and it works perfectly. Don't know why I didn't thought about it before. Thanks again.

Akamai download manager is a tool which speed up the downloads. You can download FB through Akamai (default download - it ask you install if not installed alredy) or directly.
direct link is available as File 1 of 1 on the small popup window that was opened when you click download link. i have seen that directlink is not displayed for some users for some reason.
if you dont see the direct link just install through Akamai download manager and dont close that small window it's gonna start the download of Flash Builde_4_6.exe automatically
if the download doesnt start Just try downloading from the start again. still you see the problem try different browser. For saved file location, you can serch the file with filename on your machine.

How to download Flash Builder beta on a bad connection?

I'm on a slow, unstable connection and 1gb is pretty hard to get without stalling and resuming multiple times, but resuming doesn't seem to work in labs for some reason - maybe my session times out? I usually use Free Download Manager to handle big files like this, but the security on labs downloads prevents me from using a download helper. Other Adobe software has a nice download program, but not the betas.
I'm specifically trying to get the Windows 64 bit Flash Builder with monacle for game development. I can't find a torrent for it (torrents also work beautifully on my crappy connection). I guess this is more a suggestion to Adobe labs - please put aside your security concerns and make it easier for us to download these huge files!

I use free manager download, but the link provided for flashbuilder does not work with it. I used "DownThemAll" plugin for firefox, it downloaded 75% but now the link to the flashbuilder 4.7 game edition (since 8th oct.2012) does not work at all for 2 days in a row, so I can't download it anyway.

Flash Builder Link Problem

Whenever I try to access links in Flash Builder such as those on the Start Page, Device Connection Help in Run Configurations or even Find and Download other versions of Flex SDK in the Flex Configuration window it opens up a blank Notepad window with an error "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."
Anyone have any idea on how to fix this? I assume it is supposed to open up a web page.

Wow, problem solved. I thought it was weird when I installed Flash Builder 4.7 and it was still happening. Apparently at some point I set Notepad.exe as the default program to open HTML files and did not realize it.
I feel kind of dumb now but as every other program was working (heck, links even worked in Flash Professional) I was so sure it was a Flash Builder problem.
Anyway, I am just glad to have the mystery solved.

And yes, you can call the Local Help by pressing the F1 key but for that you need to have Adobe Help Manager(AIR application) installed.
Open Adobe Help Manager->Go To General Settings->Select "Yes" under Display Local Help Content onlyand hit done.
Launch CS6 application->Press F1 and it should open the pdf file instead of online help.

Download Flash Builder 4.7 (not creative cloud version)

Hi there, I have a licence for Flash Builder 4.7 Premium and have changed computers - where I have CS6 installed (and hence and unfortunately, Flash Builder 4.6). I can't find a download link any more to 4.7 - only the creative cloud version. Should I install that one? I do not want to go to creative cloud quite yet but rather install the stand alone Flash Builder 4.7. Thanks. So... looking for a link to Flash Builder 4.7 non creative cloud.

The thing about the government network that I'm on... Creative Cloud is not an option. Our environment doesn't allow for that and the one place that I found that at least used link to the direct downloads that Adobe used to offer... they're all shutdown now. It's causing me quite the point of frustration.

I can get premium very easily off of the website, but it will not let me activate with my 4.7 standard key. I need flash builder 4.7 standard. After hours of searching I have not found any way to download it. This should be easy!

Finally, I downloaded "Flash Builder 4.7 trial (premium version, maybe)" from download center, and use my serial for 4.7 std. It works as standard edition.
But, my serial key for "4.5 std (package version)" is not available in 4.7.
I have to request Adobe a new serial for "4.7 std".
As I am Japanese, the page which I use to send my request may be not availabe for you. (It is written in Japanese.)
I found the link to request page in FAQ page for FlashBuilder 4.7 ( of course in Japanese). So you can find a link in FAQ, maybe. But I can't see FAQ in english page, as I am automatically redirected to Japanse FAQ page.

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
