Flash Cart Min/Max Y values

I am having some trouble with the Flash charts in Apex 3.1. When I set the Min Y value for a bar chart the value is completely ignored.
For example I have some data that has a Y value consistently between 95 and 100, but the chart will always display 0-100 even though I enter 95 for a minimum Y value.

No, I am not using any custom XML.
My goal is to display a readable vertical bar chart. Instead of having a Y range from 0 to 100, I want to display a Y range of 95 to 100 because 99% of my values are going to be between 99 and 100. In essence I am want a smaller Y range so a change of .5 or even .25 is noticeable. As it is now 99 pretty much looks like 100, and there is no visible difference between 99.0 and 99.5

Right click the graph's control on the block diagram and create a property node. Right click the node and Change all to Write. RIght click the node again and select from Properties either the combined ZScale->Range->All elements -or- you can individually define 2 property nodes for Max and Min (also under Zscale->Range).

Can we use MRP to plan for FERT in-house produced with PIR's & has Min/Max

I have a very critical issue from the client who wants to use MIN/ MAX stock values for planning its finished products (in-house produced)
here is the details of the scenario
Client recieves 2 Excel files every week from customer
1st file contains the Weekly Demand Forecast of FERT material for next 1 year and they upload it in MD61 as PIR's BUT this value is also Inclusive of Safety stock value (ex: if weekly demand entered in MD61 as PIR is 50 and if safety stock value is 10, then actual demand is only 40)
2nd file send contains only safety stock values (for ex in this case let it = 10) to be maintained for the FERT materials
the client wants MRP to plan and trigger based on this PIR's in MD61 and Safety stock level fand plan for FERT, HALB and also ROH materials as defined in the BOM also taking into consideration the current WIP levels (Work in progress for any existing production orders currently being processed) based on the production Lead times values maintained
so what the client wants is they want to maintain 2 stock values, that is one least stock value and other higher value which if stock falls below this point, will trigger production based on the lead time and considering any WIP levels also
(for ex in this case if PIR = 50 and safety stock is 10, MRP run result client wants is = 30 and NOT =40)
so here are my questions
1. is this scenario feasible? use safety stock and min/max level for in-house produced finished which has demand PIRs in MD61 at the same time?
2. Also due to SOX complaince regulations, the client does not want to change the forecast values in MD61, so is it possible to make some settings so that forecast is corrected by WIThOUT including the safety stock value in it? ( for ex: in this case as = 40 only and NOt as 50)
3. which all settings should i maintain like for MRP type or lot size or stock qty levels or anyother customizations if any required so that when we run MRP, can it ignore the safety stock value and generate the client desired output?

Hi Chakri,
This is not possible as per standard functionality. MRP always creates proposals for the shortage quantity of the safety stock. We have used the user exit in the plant level MRP run to exclude both plant and safety stock in the net requirements calculation.
You have to write logic to convert the safety stock into plant stock in the user exit so there will be no additional procurement proposals...you can create custom indicatar in materail master or linked any existing indicator like MRP group to the user exits so the MRP will checks this and will not create proposals for the selected parts.

Trigger populate georaster (min, max, average)

Hello all,
I'm new with Oracle spatial, I saw the documentations and I have not found an answer for my question...
I frequently add georasters in the CITY_IMAGES table. They have 1 band and a number in each point.
I have an other georaster which store the min, max and average values for each point.
So how can I do to update these values each time I add a new georaster in my table CITY_IMAGES ? I think I need to create a trigger, but don't know what to do..

Then you can create a dml trigger on the table CITY_IMAGES, when you get a new georaster object, in the trigger, recalculate min/max/average value for each cell, and then update the other georaster object with these values.

Gauge Min.Max - change dynamically

I have a gauge that is a dial. All I want to do is be able to scroll up and down the data and have the mins and maxs change.
I have tried everything to do this - no luck. The fusion manual claims it can be done although I can work it out.
"Minimum and maximum: Optional values that identify the lowest and highest points on the gauge value axis. These values can be provided as dynamic data from a data collection. They can also be specified as static data in the Gauge Data attributes category in the Property Inspector for the dvt:gauge tag. For more information, see Section 25.4.4, "Adding Thresholds to Gauges"."
Any ideas? I have put the data in a grid and the metric changes but the min,max do not.
Example - Fuel Tank - I want the gauge to have the min and max change to reflect the min.max column values.

so basically i would first denormalize the data using the pivot column and then use min and max to get the slot_start and slot_end.
But then i
can get the min and max ... but not the orignal values as well.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If you want to end up with one row per slot per datasource etc, and you want the min and max slots that have the same value as the current slot, then you probably need to be using analytic functions, like:

How to dynamically set Min count and Max Count values in Adobe Print Form?

How to set the Min Count and Max Count values dynamically in a Print Form?
The values when set should over ride the values set in Binding Tab.
This is all needed to print multiple Material Number labels on a single page - and the number of labels to be printed needs to be under user control - something like an Avery Address labels

Here is a work around that works for me and may not be an intelligent solution .
I kept the Min Count to 1 on the subform binding properties.
Per the number of labels required, I appended the same item to the internal table so many times and passed it to the label.
it works fine for my requirement.
However - leaving out the post for a while to see if this can be done at the form level via scripting.

Thanks for your input. However I am not certain we have resolved this issue adequately, or understand the principles governing the css as regards this spry menu framework 2.0 (1.0).
For example, the menu only works in IE 6.0 if the css remains in the head. I agree with your original post that it shouldn't make any difference whether the css is posted in the head or in a separate style sheet (so long as specificity issues are addressed). Both should work -- and yet it doesn't.
If the CSS is placed in the separate style sheet governing the total site, it doesn't work for 6.0. If placed at the top of the style sheet, conflicts of specificity prevent the menu from rendering properly in any of the browsers causing the rules for general links to govern the menu.   This has been verified using a cross browser testing. If the styles are placed at the bottom of the style sheet to help them take precedence, they work in all the browsers except for IE 6.
The website I am building needs to support IE 6 for a variety of reasons, and because it is catering to the non-profit community and to low income persons, I am mindful of even small differences in page weight.
So for me, at least, the issue remains baffling.
I appreciate your input, but also would appreciate the input from others, and especially Adobe Community Professionals and employees. The spry framework in this regard is not well documented. I am not certain if this is exclusively a CSS problem, if it might also be complicated by the architecture of the spry framework, or if indeed other variables are at play.
I would be my hope that in resolving the problem, other users of the this particular spry framework might also benefit.

BI Query : Min & Max Values

Hi all,
I have a query regarding finding the max and min values based on Keyfigure.
Below are the values which i get in the report.From these values i need the Max and Min value separately based on the keyfigure.
I tried option in Aggregation tab and Calculation tab.However i am getting the Maximum value correctly whereas minimum value shows as Zero.

We are getting maximum value as 0.88 but min value should be 0.58 but we are getting 0.00.
Please help me to resolve the issue

How to set physical min/max values for a scale in xy graph?

Hello,
I have troubles with the way LabView handles physical units in xy graphs. In particular, I use a time scale for the x axis.
The values are timestamps and have the unit [s]. Now I want to read write the min max values for this scale via
property nodes. It seems that the properties for min max do not support the use of the unit I use for the data for
that same axis. This is very inconvenient and I am not even sure which kind of data to use at all for this properties.
Is it simply converting to/from [s] using the unit converter?
(I am using LabView 7.1 for the programm in question).

What are the units you are using? can you make it a littlebit clear.
You can change the units also using Property node.
Just check the attachment once. If that is what you are looking for, then the problem is solved.

Ring Control/Indicator Min/Max Values

Is there a simple way to retrieve the minimum and maximum values of a Ring control or indicator?
I'm not looking for "Data Entry Limits", so that hasn't been useful. The only thing I've been able to do is use the "Strings And Values []" array, however even THAT is problematic, as it returns an array of clusters. To use "Array Max & Min", I have to use a for loop to index the array, and create a new array of just the Values.
Is there either a way to just get the Min & Max, or an easier way to get an array of the values? Ring controls have both a "Strings []" and "Strings and Values []" property, why don't they have just a "Values []" property? Perhaps there's a way to UN-Index and UN-Bundle a Cluster Array?
I'm using LabVIEW 8.5.

I agree with you that a reverse of "index and bundle cluster array" could come in handy. I am pretty sure that the way you are solving this problem is the best. The only other way to solve it I can think of is to convert the array of clusters to a variant data type and then flatten this to a string and parse the string for the data. This way is a lot more cumbersome and does not get around having to use a loop. Maybe someone else can think of a better way, I am interested to hear if there is.

I'm working on a project that requires a JSpinner to have a minimum value of 0 and a maximum value of 10. Is there a method that allows a min/max value to be set? I did a search for threads regarding JSpinner and I didn't seem to find anything that answered my question. Thanks in advance.

Min/ Max interval data storage

OK, so what I am trying to do is scan 2 voltages at 3K, temporarily write that data to a file or buffer, read the min and max values, and log those to a file once per minute. I'm at the point where I can scan and display the data, but really don't know where to go next. Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

You only need a single loop. You can use the "elapsed time" express VI to signal when time has elapsed, and simply use a case structure to append the averages to the data before writing (in the false case just wire the current data across). You should also open the file before the loop, append inside the loop, and only close the file once the loop completes. You can use the min&max ptbypt VI to keep track of the min and max for each interval or just keep track of it using a shift register.

DateTimeAxis min/max bug? Problems with consistent padding. Date Wrapping.

I have been working on a problem with a BarChart object that I've created using dynamic data.
My primary issue is that I can't seem to get the proper min/max values to set for the chart.
To solve this I manually found the min and max of the data set of Dates and set the min and max of the chart. This allowed me to finally see all the floating custom bars (each bar is rendered with a user set fill), however now if I have a bar that extends over a year change the horizontal axis labels do not wrap the date properly, so instead of 2/10 (feb 2010) being the last date, 12/09 (dec 2009) is the last date.
I've been trying to dynamically adjust the padding based upon a change event, but so far to no avail. Partially I think because I'm not sure which event for the function to fire on.

Alright, so I've discovered that the ONLY time the date wrapping error occurs is when the axis labels contain only the month and year, any other time it places it properly.
Does anyone know where I can report this bug?

It's clearly not impossible, just different than you expect. Create your playlist as you want it to appear in the Current tab (meaning don't dump every single song from your library in there, just the ones you want) and then save the playlist.
