Flash CC Color Picker defaults to Red Channel every time opened

I recently upgraded to Flash CC, and am having an issue when opening the Color Picker to adjust a palette color.
When the Color Picker opens, the Hue radio button is selected (H), but the visual palette selection on the left is showing the color spectrum as if the Red Channel (R) was selected. I have to click on the "H" radio button every time the Color Picker is opened to refresh that selectable area on the left to show the correct information instead of the Red spectrum.
In previous versions (ie Flash Pro CS5) it would remember which palette system you use (Hue, Saturation, etc.) and always use that when you re-opened the color picker. Now this is forcing me to reselect my preferred palette every time I open the color picker. This is not just happening when I restart Flash -- this is every single time the picker is opened, within the same session, within the same document, seconds apart.
All of the computers in the office with CC licenses are also seeing this behavior. Is this happening for everyone, and is there a solution to have it correctly show the palette system I've selected?
I'm using Flash CC on Windows 8.1.

Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

I click on the color picker and where I have seen the normal #0000ff blue color on my windows computer, this mac Mountain lion version shows a purple-ish color. Oddly, If I enter the hex # into the color picker, and use it as a fill, the correct color displays on the stage but when i use the eyedropper on that color, it shows it as the purple color again on the toolbar.
I've seen a similar thing like this happen when using adobe photoshop. However, the usual solution is to just make the managed color profile set to monitor RGB. The only downside with Flash is there is no preference to set that. The color palette in Adobe Photoshop displays as it should with the correct blue.
I should also note that I'm using a Samsung 941bw monitor with my mac mini which could also be part of the problem.
I figured i'd make this post anyway just in case it's the OS & Adobe Flash CS6 and not the monitor.
I've included a screenshot as well that shows that i've chosen the purple color and then made a rectangle shape on the stage and it comes out blue.

Seems misleading that on the adobe site for Adobe Flash CS6 it says:
System requirements:
Mac OS X v10.6.8 or v10.7. Adobe Creative Suite 5, CS5.5, and CS6 applications support Mac OS X Mountain Lion (v10.8) when installed on Intel based systems.**

Has anyone else had Color Picker defaulting to black with Cp 5.0.2.630 on OSX 10.7.1 (Lion)

Both of my Macs running OSX 10.7.1 are now exhibiting this behavior. The color picker defaults to black regardless of which color I chose.
I have deleted preferences, reinstalled the program, tried to use the color picker on images as well as Captivate shapes (squares, ellipses), but it still defaults to black. I have also tried new projects and pre-existing projects. Defaults to black.
No similar problems with Cp 5.5, which I have installed on only one of my computers (so can't attribute this to a Cp version conflict)
Has anyone else has this behavior? Any known fixes?
I have also reported it to Bangalore and as a bug.

No, there is not setting for a default printer.The system scans for available airprint printers each time you print.

Adobe Flash can be installed, but must be install EVERY time I log out and log back in. Why doesn't it stay? How can I fix this? (I have Firefox 6.0.2 and Flash 10.3)

I have searched through the FAQs and find stuff on "crashing". I have not had any trouble with flash crashing, but I can't keep it installed.
If I install flash, then it stays as long as I am logged in, even if I close firefox. Once I log out and log back in, I lose Flash and have to re-install it.

I was having the same issue with installing Flash player 10.3.183.10 in both Firefox 6.0.2 and Explorer 9 -- the Task Manager would show the installer running as a process, but it would never actually install anything. It would just sit there until I killed it or rebooted.
It seems that there are multiple versions of the separate installers needed. The installer that worked for me in Firefox was
install_flash_player_10.exe -- a 3,017KB file
and for Explorer, it was:
install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe -- a 3,054KB file.
Neither of those files was sent by the main updater page, nor did that page offer the 239KB uninstall_flash_player.exe, which is needed to uninstall the previous Flash version before one can even begin to try to update it. I had to pound through the messages in the forums to find links to those "full" installers.
It is working now in both browsers, but jeepers creepers, it shouldn't take all day to find the installers for something that gets updated as often as Flash does.

Why does InDesign default back to Picas every time I launch the app?

I have repeatedly set my preferences in InDesign so that the unit of measurements is Inches. Yet, when I launch the app, it defaults back to Picas. Furthermore, even after adjusting the preferences again, when I open a new document the units are still Picas. How do I fix this?

CS5, yes? If so, that's a bug. ID will use the default settings of the language it was installed in. There's a hack to edit the prefs manually, but I don't have a link handy.

Mailto set to Gmail, but defaults back to Outlook every time Firefox reboots

I have Firefox 12.0 mailto set to Gmail. Each time I reboot Firefox, mailto defaults to Outlook. Then, when I click on a mail link, Outlook tries to install. I cancel out of that, set mailto back to Gmail, and then everything is fine until the next time I reboot Firefox. This has been going on for the last many versions of Firefox. Anybody else run across this - and if so, any solutions?

For some reason firefox defaults to Montreal and Gatineau as my location on sympatico.ca. I'm in ottawa-tried changing the defaults to Ottawa but every time I open the page it lapses back to French. Doesn't happen with Explorer so a Firefox issue....

My HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni printer re-configures every time I initiate a print demand.

Every single time I initiate a print job, this printer re-configures. I can have ten different pages that I want to print and regardless of the amount of time it takes me to set up the next page. this maching re-configures before printing the next page If the print job requires 2 or more copies it will continue to print those with no problem. It is only when I initiate a new print job that it will re-configure. I have tried everything available through the HP ToolboxFX and on-line. This is my last resort! You can't believe how agravating it is to have to wait for this printer to re-configure EVERY SINGLE TIME I WANT TO PRINT A PAGE. Please tell me it's some simple stupid thing i missed.

You can set the pref dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs to to -1 on the about:config page to disable the timeout.

Flash Pro is looking for an old iPhone every time I try to install on iOS Device [HELP]

Every time I try to publish my app to my iPhone... when I plug in my phone and click "Refresh" it shows my device name. Then it fails saying no device is connected.. then when I click "refresh" again it shows the device of a really old phone I used to use.
Any idea why its doing this ? .. any way to fix this ? I'm currently unable to publish apps to my devices. Is there a way to clear the list ?

Nope .. even with uninstalling and reinstalling it still remembers this old device.

I have the same problem, although it doesn't happen with all the songs, but randomly. It's maddening to have to re-edit the same songs again and again.
The same thing happens with the metadata of the songs, if I change it.

Photoshop CS3: Color Picker Issue

Hello All,
I am having a bit of an issue with my Color Picker.
As you know, when you open up the Color Picker, it has the large square with the assortment of colors on the left and the details of the color on the right.
As of today, Photoshop won't let me use my cursor to click and select a color from within that large square. Nor can I scroll up and down the rainbow color strip on the side.
Is there a way to get those features back?

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.
A complete uninstall/re-install will not affect the preferences and a corrupt file there may be causing the problem.
