Flash CC no projector

What has happened to the publish settings in CC. No projector settings at all. Need to make an autorun CD.
Any ideas?

According to this page, Flash Professional CC new features | Buy Adobe Flash Professional CC, projector support has been added back in to publish settings in Flash CC 2014, but I can't see it anywhere. Where is it?

I can only see the Export as Projector option if I have this extension (Export as Projector from Flash Pro CC | Nipun Asthana ) installed and enabled via extensions manager.
I understand this extension is meant to have been incorporated into flash cc 2014.
Also... Options are very limited. Is there any way to change the icon for .exe file? And is there any way to have it install and show in windows start menu? The mac .app packager under AIR for desktop settings allows for these things quite nicely.

Flash CS4 Windows Projector

Hi All,
When publishing a Flash CS4 Windows Projector the file size is 4MB is there a way to reduce this size say down to about 1.5MB.
Also the fscommands do not appear to work. Does anyone know how to fix this.

I am a bit new to this and can not find any info on allowscriptaccess.
Also most exe files that I have found are 2-3MB and I was just wondering if 4MB is normal as I can not find much info on this.
Also if 4MB is normal, why the increase in size?

Convert CS4 Flash 10 as projector file to AIR For fileStream Writing Capabilities Not Working

Have a simple kiosk .exe that works fine as a projector/.exe on PC platform.
Wanted to add stats output to file of when FAQ buttons pressed.
fileStream class available when I change publish settings to AIR AND works greate when I test movie w/in Flash, but
I try to publish and click the .exe I don't see anything.
Any info would be appreciated.

Here's a general dive on RTMP. You can see the packet structure contains metadata in the header about the content that will follow. The NetStream link I put above talks about it as well when using appendBytes(). The byte(array) parser understands FLV files with a header. After the header is parsed (again, see RTMP and what the server sends (0x12) before invoking a play), it expects all future calls to appendBytes() to be a continuation of that file (or stream). In other words, the first call to appendBytes() is missing the header.
This is where I rely on FMS for the most part. I know it knows to send a header upon connection. If you're implementing your own streaming setup you're going to need to supply this just like a FMS RTMP connection would (in AMF). I haven't needed to do anything this custom but if you get the structure of an initial RTMP connection (sniff it with a fiddler2 or find a resource on the structure) and encode it in byteArray, send it first to appendBytes with the correct information about the video you're sending, it should work.
Otherwise it makes sense appendBytes is failing by just getting a chunk of binary without having a header (the instructions on what exactly the binary is and how to use it).
Strictly per the documentation, On2/VP6 should be fine, I use it for all my old f4v projects. I'm not sure about MPGA/V.

Do you need Flash Player for projector files?

We are about to distribute some CDs with our website on them
(which uses XML). I've published projector files for Mac and PC and
they work fine on my computer. We just want to make sure everyone
will be able to view the projectors, even if they don't have Flash
Player on their system weather it be a Mac or PC.

When you make a projector the player is bundled into it. Your
users do not
need Flash player.

Flash player 9 projector fails on *some* WinXP

After publishing to a projector while using CS3 (and
Actionscript 2.0) and using the fullscreen fscommand, I have tested
and found that the project often fails by slowing/freezing during
the initial load on some WindowsXP machines. I can replicate the
error and found that removing the fullscreen fscommand causes the
issue to disappear.
For the time being, I have been forced to go back to using
Flash 8 to create fullscreen applications as I cannot risk failure
on various systems. Is there ANY solution to this issue?

Hi. No, no anti-virus software is running on the system. Let
me rephrase that, the anti-virus software is running on the server
level for all the systems in the office and as the slowdown/freeze
happens on some machines and not others, I don't think that's a
likely culprit. (but I'll check into it anyway)

Open folder from mac flash projector from a CD... not working

I know there are many posts out there about this, but for
some reason it's not working for me. I thought I was doing
everything right, so I'm hoping the smart people of this forum
could help.
objective:
Flash stand alone projector interface has links that open
folders and a website that is local on the cd.
What I've done
I wrote an applescript that opens the folder. I saved as an
application and checked the run and unchecked the others. named it
"openpdf"
I placed this file in the "fscommand" folder. This folder is
on the same level as my projector. In this folder I have some ini
and exe files for the pc side (which works by the way)
in flash I wrote on the button:
on (release) {
fscommand("exec", "openpdf");
}

Flash Projector Issue

Does anyone know how to add a Mail link in a standalone
projector. I have a presentation CD which has a mail link in it.
But it does not work as it would work if it was a web base.
Is there any workaround.

Here is the solution.
1) go there http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp9 and download flash player 9 (link "Download the Windows Flash Player 9 Projector content debugger")
2) when download is finished, copy paste the file into the "players" folder of flash (ex. path = C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS4\Players)
3) in this folder you will find a file named "FlashPlayer.exe" (--> this is the flash player 10 version). You can delete this file (dont worry, you have another version of this file into the "release" folder)
4) Rename the file that you copyed (sa_flashplayer_9_debug.exe) into "FlashPlayer.exe"
5) Now open your FLA in Adobe Flash CS4 and publish it again. It will be publish in flash player 9 now (you can check that by right clicking on the published projector exe file, and you should see "version : flash player 9")
Normally your problem will be fixed liked that.

How do you make Flash Stay on top of any other programs

Does anyone know what script I can use to make my flash intro
stay on top of another .exe file that is going to open after my
intro starts. I need the other .exe to load in the background where
it is not visible to the user. I need my flash intro to stay on
top.

Flash exe problem in windows 8.1 lenovo tablet

Hi people,
Recently i bought lenovo tablet with windows 8.1 OS 32 bit.
My flash project windows projector .exe file is running but i cannot able to click any buttons in that flash exe. I developed this project in AS3 and flash player 11.
And i checked my old presentation developed in as2 it will work fine i can able to click the buttons also. I will try all but no use. Please help me to sort out this problem.

    I recently had to format my machine and now I cannot get flash player to run properly.
Problem/Error:
     I am a developer and I am having problems running the swf files outside of the Flash Professional CS4 IDE. Inside the IDE I am able to run the swf file(s) with no errors at all. I can even load the swf files into another swf and run them in the IDE. I can run them in the broswer (IE 8, FireFox, or Chrome) with no issue as well. When I try to run the swf using Flashplayer outside of the IDE and Browser I get following Error:
VerifyError: Error #1033: Cpool entry "X" is wrong type. --> Where "X" can be any numeric value and changes frequently.
     I also believe I am having trouble installing flash player 10 because when I run a swf file, it will always puts "Adobe Flash Player 9" at the top in my title bar of the window. If I check my program files within control panel, it will so tell me Adobe Flash Player 9 -- and I have installed Flash Player 10.0.22.87 multiple times. I have also installed the flashplayer_10_ax_debug in hopes of solving my problem and have had no luck. I have also tried using the uninstall_flash_player download to install a fresh install of flash player 10.0.22.87 and have had with no luck as well. I do NOT receive any errors during install.
If there is anything other information that I can provide you with that will help with troubleshooting please let me know.

Using the above link I was able to fix the problem. It's the projector that I needed to update.

I've just downloaded Adobe Flash Player 13, but .flv files and .f4v files are not played by Adobe Flash Player. I've tried to make it default player but i didn't release which file .exe to browse for (by right-clicking and choosing Open with > Choose default program...).

There's a Flash Player Projector (standalone) in the Flash Professional CS6/Players folder, but it's usually outdated.
When browsing to an app to use from the Properties window, go there, but... download this one: Windows Flash Player 13 Projector and replace the Flash Player that's in that folder.
If you're looking to test Flash files you've authored, then you'll need the Projector, but if you're just looking for a good player for FLV and F4V, then you should use VLC Media Player. http://www.videolan.org/

Embed Video in EXE (windows projector)?

I'm trying to embed a video into a windows projector (exe)
file. I would like the video to be contained in the single exe, but
I don't want to run into the video/sound synch problems embeding
the video in the timeline creates. Any advice?

You can't do it with Flash itself. No such option.
You could import the video into flash file, within its
timeline ?
Won't that work for you ?

Installing Adobe Flash Player on W2K12 R2 without Desktop Experience

I am trying to get Adobe Flash Player installed using some type of stand alone installer rather than enabling the Desktop Experience feature of W2K12 R2. Enabling Desktop Experience had undesirable performance degradation, so I am looking to just run a stand alone installer.
I've spoken with Microsoft and they say this is not a Windows limitation, but rather something Adobe is not allowing. I've tried stand alone instalers for Flash 11, 12, and 13. 11 and 12 saying IE already has Flash built-in and 13 finishes installing, but is not shown as a plug-in in IE.
Has anyone had any luck getting Flash Player without Desktop Experience? Any thoughts are helpful.

Win2012, like Win 8, has Flash Player embedded into IE by Microsoft. The ActiveX plugin cannot be installed from any download here. There is a Windows Update KB patch and two registry keys that prevent it. Unless you manually remove those, the only way to do anything with Flash Player ActiveX for Win8 or Win2012 is through Windows Update.
Those losers in Redmond (or India) only told you to get it fixed here because they REFUSE to accept responsibility for the gabrage browser they shoved down everyone's throats with IE11.
If you're in a corporate environment and cannot use another browser, then the best you can do is repair IE (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318378) and run Windows update again.

If you need the plug-in for other browsers, it's here: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
But there is no updating the ActiveX plug-in from here, in spite of what Microsoft told you.

Is there a Flash Player 10 Debugger version for PowerPC Macs?

At http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html in the debugger version section, I see only content debugger for Intel-based Macs. My main development system is a PowerPC Mac.
I see a link below that titled "Flash Player 10 Projector content debugger" but no explanation of what "Projector" means. I am hesitant to install this since it appears different than other debuggers and I have had a lot of trouble with losing connectivity to FP debuggers in the past.
Is there any way for me to debug my project with FP10?
