Flash crashes on all broswers, along with silverlight and solitaire
i haven't installed anything new before this problem started, but today my flash and silverlight plugins have stopped workign. anything with video crashes and the browser asks to stop the plugin. oddly enough my windows 7 games have begun freezing (solitaire, spider etc). i hvae no idea if these are related but i find it odd it happened the same time. i've tried removing flash and silverlight and reinstalling them and also my chrome broswer but the same thing happens in firefox. does anyone have any idea what i should do?
Re :41. Jul 11, 2010 1:01 PM in response to: cbjazz AND I WILL RESPOND AGAIN IN CAPITALS BECAUSE I STILL WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO INSTALL FLASH SAFELY.
Re: Flash Player 10.1 doesn't work in Firefox, works in IE Hi cbjazz, It is FF vs 3.6.4 (I NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH IT UNTIL IT GOT UPDATED TO .6) and vs 3.6.6 that is crashing Flash Player 10.1. You have it backwards. Go to the Firefox forum and read the 1,001 search results and you'll see. If you have been on the threads as much as I have, you will see Firefox has more problems with Flash Player 10.1 than Internet Explorer. Read the threads. iI AGREE, I DID NOT KNOW WHO IS IT FAULT BUT ALL ARE UNUSABLE: IN CHROME AND IE 8, FLASH TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD, AND THAT FF CRASHES HORRIBLY WHEN USING FLASH AFTER DOWNLOADING 10.1
Regarding Chrome, Flash Player 10.1 is embedded with that browser. IT JUST NEVER FINISHES LOADING
Thanks for the feedback on the FF 4 beta. Took out your OS? Good grief. ITS VISTA. WE ARE USED TO THIS AND BACK UP EVERYTHING AND REALLY GET GOOD WITH THE TECH SUPPORT IN INDIA.
If the previous version of Flash Player is properly Uninstalled and Installed either in Firefox or Internet Explorer, there is no problem. Users fail to follow the instructions is what happens 9 times out of 10 if they have Uninstall and Install issues. FOLKS LIKE ME HAVE NOT UNINSTALLED THEIR PREVIOUS VERSIONS BECAUSE WE WERE JUST FOLLOWING THE PROMPTS OF THE MESSAGES: YOU NEED THIS NEW FLASH PLUGIN FOR THIS CONTENT.....
The only issue that is causing problems and it is not crash related is the hardware acceleration that is turned ON by default in FP 10.1. Turning it off and updating the graphic and video drivers has solved that. MY COMPUTER IS OUT OF WARRANTY SO I AM NOT SURE IF I HAVE ACCESS TO HOW TO DO ALL THIS
Thanks,eidnolb THANKS, CBJAZZ

Hard currency is not valuated in FAGL_FC_VAL along with local and group currency
Hi All,
I have the below system settings for FOREX revaluation. The revaluation is not happening for Hard currency along with local and group currency. The test data and other settings seams to be fine as the below mentioned workaround works perfectly for hard currency revaluation.
I would like to take your expert feedback on this issue to confirm whether this is how SAP works or its an issue with FAGL_FC_VAL program.
System Settings:
Currencies in company code
local currency group currency hard currency
10 30 40
USD USD UYU
FOREX settings:
Work around found:
Define two Valuation area, say
1. Valuation Area: A1 which will have currency type 10 and 30.
2. Valuation Area: A2 which will have only the currency type 40.
3. Run FAGL_FC_VAL twice for these area.
Issue with this work around:
1. The valuation area is assigned to one accounting principle (which is in turn assigned to a specific ledger).
2. Thus, if I have different accounting FOREX process to be followed in different ledgers (say IFRS ledger, Local Ledger, Tax ledger) then I need to create 2 valuation area (as per above workaround) for each ledgers and run FAGL_FC_VAL for each of these valuation areas.
Thanks & Regards
Nikhil KothariHi Experts,
Any views on the above issue?
Thanks & Regards

3)here go and clear buttons came automatically.
4) i can able to add button in front of the page and end of the page.
4) my requirement is i need to add one more button along with go and clear(here go and clear button are in between search items and table region) .
5)i am not able to add button along with go and clear.
Can any one know how to do this--
Thanks in Advance
vamshiHi Vamshi,
You can not create extra buttons in Standard Query region.
Alternatively you can create your custom region for the search and there you can add a button. If you don't need advanced region, you can create the custom region in place of standard one.

anybody can help me understand if the Ipads becomes ready to be used in all world regions with 3G and or 4G infrastructure? I mean, are all of them released or when I buy one in the US to be used in Argentina I need to ask for a released one, with add costs?
There are two versions of the current iPad, the WiFi only (which will work anywhere in the world, but only connect to WiFi networks) and the 3G/4G model. The latter will connect to 3G networks worldwide, as I understand it, but the only 4G networks it can connect to are in the US and Canada.

I've been having trouble with in getting iMessage to send messages. I decided to connect to my VPN (along with wifi) and it worked. Why won't it work via my wifi connection alone?

Flash Crashes across all browsers and recent fatal errors
This problem has basicly been going on for years and my operating system has been resintalled a couple of times before but basicly the problem is that adobe flash player (and Microsoft Silverlight) would crash a browser (IE, Chrome, and Firefox) often. I have tried the fixes ive read about but they didnt seem to work so I just decided to put up with it until I began getting fatal errors. I had my hardware checked out and there are no problems with and all my drivers are up to date.
Flash: 11.5.502.135
Windows 7 (64-bit)
HD 5570 and HD 6870 (upgraded from one to the other but problem still occurs)
Like I said I usually try to put up with flash (and silverlight) crashing my browser but now they crash the browse so badly it forces a bugcheck (or blue screen of death). I have tried to reload my operating system, then updated my drivers, and then in clean boot mode I still get pretty nasty crashes. I think the problem is within one of my drivers but I cant pinpoint which driver is the culprit.

A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. This is
because the driver was specified in the registry as being suspect (by the

If the driver attempts to corrupt the system, bugchecks 0xC4, 0xC1 and 0xA will
be among the most commonly seen crashes.

Subject: Flash Player Flash Plug-in Crashes across all browsers despite
re-install
I support a bunch of Mac users and one of them (10.5.7 MBP) ran into this same
problem last week with both Safari and Firefox crashing with the flash player
plugin. If I removed the Flash Player plugin and the .xpt file there was no
crashing but no flash either. I used a combination of different suggestions and
here's what finally worked (so far anyway):
Show package contents for Firefox/Contents/MacOS/components and Get Info
changing perms for read/write for everyone.
Re-installed shockwave plugin using the customized full install (this made no
sense to me since I had made no change to shockwave but as I was testing the
browsers I was prompted to install it, so I did)
Repaired permissions
The version of the Flash Player plugin that ended up installed on this Mac is
10.0.12.36. I started off installing the newer and recommended 10.0.22.87
version but it didn't fix anything. I inadvertently went backwards as I moved
plugins in and out of the Library. I didn't want to change anything once it was
working so I left it at the older version. I hope this helps someone else. -

My computer was struck by lightning completly erasing all of hard drive and memory. Along with that my ipod touch 4th generation crashed and just got it rebooted but don't have any of my music, movies, or apps on it. So i redownloaded itunes and signed into my account but all of my music is gone along with my apps. How do I get back my music onto my itunes on my computer?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to do this, not good, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store -
I sell products on a site, along with other sellers, that is owned by someone else.
We have many sellers there. Some of us are having problems with how we are able to view the size of our photos taken of our products that are up for sale.
From seller to seller, we have different versions of Firefox that we are using. I have the newest Firefox, which I believe is 4.
I was having, like others who use 4, the same problem seeing smaller photos before I did the upgrade as well.
It seems to be the case for most of us who are having the problem, that Firefox photos scale down smaller than Internet Explorer and Chrome.
We have been told that this may be a browser issue as the site owners say they have not made any changes. At this point we are unsure since there are so many variations from seller to seller (keep in mind that some sellers are not seeing the photos scale down through their computer).
We have asked the site owners to look into this problem further. I also wanted to see what the Firefox community had to say. Do you think it may be a browser issue? We would greatly appreciate your input.
Below are some examples of photos that have been scaled down for the sellers who are seeing a problem with smaller photos while both in Firefox; all using different versions of Firefox:
One photo that was originally the size of 419px by 1, 007px is being seen by one seller to a scaled down size of 81px by 64px.
Another seller is viewing this same photo scaled down to 163px by 329px.
Another seller is able to view this photo as the original size it was intended to be, which is 419px by 1, 007px.
The above scenario has been the worst scaled down size we have heard of so far.
Typically a photo that is the size of 1, 000px by 930px has been scaled down to 420px by 391px.
There are other examples as to size, but you can see that the photos have been scaled down quite a bit.
You can see that it has been scaled down to less than half of the original size. This can pose a real problem for us depending on the type of product that is being photographed.
Thank you!!Thank you!!

How to export Tables along with Data and also Tables without data
Hi All,
I have a strange situation here. I have a 2 existing schema's under one database. Now the client wants to have 4 more schema's to incorporate the new branches of his company.
I want to know whether is it possible for me to run an expdp command by which i can have the data from the mentioned tables and only table structure of the remaining along with remaining database objects (procedure, functions, triggers, views, sequences etc).
Since there are some 32 Master tables, whose data i need to capture in db dump in order to run the batch under new schema and the remaining tables will be populated with data from the new branch employees hence the need is for table’s structure only.Hi,
you should run two different import comand.
The first import with only metadata, just to recreate the structure.
With the second import you will import data only for the tables you need.
I think this is the simplier solution.

Two problems : areaChart along with Line and double y-axis in LineChart
Hi Friends,
This forum is very useful as we are getting lots of help from people who are trying out this new technology and giving/using help to/from others.I am developing a real time application in JavaFx in which I need to implement Charts using dynamic data coming from a server.
Now I am facing two types of problem which may be interrelated in some way.
Problem 1 :
I need to combine an areachart along with a line Chart. There is nothing in JavaFx like area-line Chart so should i go with all area charts and make the fill-color of area series transparent(is it possible to have transparent fill in area-chart ? by css ?) OR i should stack two charts one area and one line on top of one another making the background of either transparent(once again is it possible to have transparent background for a chart so that background chart/series is visible ?) OR any other suggestion ? Anyways I tried stacking using stackPane and it turned out to be ugly combination of misaligned charts :-(
Problem 2 :
I need to put two y-axis(i.e secondary axis) on the same chart but i am unable to find such feature with my best efforts.I know I can set the side of Axis using setSide method of Axis class but how can i put it both side simultaneously. Also is there a way to put different scales on these axis ? I mean is it possible to have two different series with drastic difference in bounds(data range) to be put on same chart by attaching them to different Y-axis on the same chart ?I don't think there is anything in the JavaFX library which matches exactly what you need.
You might be able to use some tips from the 3d pie chart I created at: https://gist.github.com/1485144. This demonstrates stacking multiple charts on top of each other, whilst removing rendundant details so it doesn't end up a jumbled mess and looking up items by their css tags and modifying them.
There is now excellent documentation on chart css at http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/charts/css-styles.htm#CIHGIAGE. If this doesn't get you all of the css hooks you need to dig out the details required from the chart, then you can unpack jfxrt.jar and search for caspian.css or you can recursively print the nodes in the chart which will tell you the type and style of each node. Armed with this information you could should then be able to stack the two charts you created on top of each other, align them correctly and strip away the info you don't need. To get the second y axis to the other side of the chart you could look it up by css in code, then do a translateX on it to so that it is translated by a bind to the width of the x axis. Seems doable, if a little fiddly.
You might be tempted to directly create an Axis yourself by creating an instance of http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/api/javafx/scene/chart/NumberAxis.html and laying it over your chart, but I was unable to get that to work (http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-18270) - even if you did so, you would have to manually set up the ranges and ticks as the chart library wouldn't handle that for you. Another way to create a Axis like thing is by creating a http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/api/javafx/scene/control/Slider.html, disabling user input on it and removing it's thumb via css.
My efforts at answering chart questions in the past sometimes ended up as "That's not what I need": Re: How to create PieChart like this?
Questions about charts are hard to answer without a link to an exact image of what the required chart is expected to look like. -
Adobe Flash crashes almost instantly. it is upto date and enabled. Help
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it with no change. I send a crash report every time. Don't know what to do! Help please.
I now understand the version nuances between the browsers and thanks for the response. Now what, if anything, can I do to address the continuum of Flash crashes since I find it difficult to believe that I'm the only user experiencing this anomaly?

Why won't safari 7.o.1 work with silverlight and netflix using mavericks?
Netflx requires MS Silverlight. After installation Safari leads to the Netflix prompt "thanks for downloading, please restart your browser"--restarting browser doesn't work, nor does restarting computer. Netflix works with Silverlight on Firefox however. So, it seems like a Safari problem. Netflix techs couldn't help. I'm using a MacBook Air with Mavericks. Thank you for any advice on getting Safari (7.0.1) to work with Silverlight with Netflix.
Neither one of those Safari extensions are beneficial, so I suggest you uninstall them.
Safari Restore looks like junk. It's no longer required anyway since Safari already incorporates what it allegedly does.
Folx may have corrupted the Silverlight download, therefore I suggest repeating my above instructions to remove and re-install Silverlight.
Restart your Mac in "Safe Mode" and determine if you can load a Netflix movie then. Netflix will stream in Safe Mode, but the video is likely to stutter and there may be no audio.
Please read the following first:
Safe Mode or "Safe Boot" is a troubleshooting mode that bypasses all third party system extensions and loads only required system components. Read about it: Starting up in Safe Mode
You must disable FileVault before you can start your Mac in Safe Mode.
Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
Merely starting your Mac in Safe Mode is not intended to resolve the problem, it's to observe its performance without certain additional components.
To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well. -
How to reconcile 2 lightroom catalogs in separate locations along with images and metadata?
I split my time between two locations where I need access to all of my images and lightroom catalog... I've been trying to keep everything in sync by transporting new images on hard drives, exporting new updates to a "migration" catalog and then importing that along with the images when I travel back to the other location. This works as long a I don't get lazy, or in a hurry... which I have, of course and now I need to get everything back in order--as best as can be expected.
What would be the best way to do this? I need to migrate changes in both directions... If it was just location A to B, or B to A, then that's not much of a problem. unfortunately, i need to reconcile changes from A to B and B to A...
I learned my lesson, but I still need to resolve this mess.
Any tips appreciated.
Thanks.
