Flash CS4 Sample Templates are missing

My sample templates are missing, all that shows now are Cateregory: Advertising and different size banners. I searched my harddrive and found the rood folder where they are stored but only the folder for Advertising exist.
I haven't deleted anything, so could it have been a glitch at installation, I had startup problems with Flash constantly crashing at the splash screen and finally had to uninstall and reinstall.
Running WinXP SP3.

I do remember them being part of an earlier version maybe MX. Did some checking around as I was under the assumption they were part of CS4 due to some diagrams found on pages 264-265 of "Flash CS4: The Missing Manual". The bottom line is it is now listed in their Errata.

Flash CS4 Quiz Template: Help Needed

My organization uses the Flash CS4 quiz template that is included within the eLearning suite. Everything works great. The quiz loads on the LMS, it gives learners' their scores, etc. The issue we're having is after the score is recorded within the LMS.
If a user fails the quiz, the LMS marks the quiz as 'Completed/Failed'. The LMS (Inquisic EX), then, moves the failed quiz into the 'Completed Courses' tab. I understand why it does this because the 'Completed' mark given refers to the learner having gone through all of the pages within the quiz; however, the learner failed the quiz. If the learner goes back into the quiz and passes it the second time around, the LMS continues to state 'Completed/Failed'.
Does anyone know why this would happen? Are there SCORM settings we ought to change within the source code provided by Adobe?

SCOM 2012 SP1 RU2 Some Dashboard templates are missing

I have SCOM 2012 SP1 RU2, (Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft System Center 2012 SP1 - Operations Manager Server (KB2826664)) but I don't see all the Dashboard templates, I just
see the basic templates.
I tried to do what the
article suggests (Applying KB282664 this is for SCOM 2012 SP1):

SSAS/SSRS/SSIS Templates are missing in the VS 2012 Shell

I have installed SSDT 2012 on azure machine. After installation, VS 2012 shell application is available in the Azure machine with below details.
Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Shell (Integrated)

Installed Version: IDE Standard

Still I can’t find following templates in the VS2012 shell in the installed and online templates.
Integration Services Projects
Reporting Services Projects
Analysis Services Projects
Is it possible to create SSIS/SSAS/SSRS project without full version of Visual Studio 2012?

Premiere Pro CC Title templates are missing + cannot be installed

hi,
I just realised that I don't have any title templates but i need them quiet urgently.
I went on to this website: Library, title templates, template projects missing: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore
where it stated that you have to download a zip file and place it in the presets folder of Adobe Premiere.
I did that but it wasn"t working. Then I took the Premiere Pro Family Content Installers folder and wanted to install it in order to place it in the presets folder and the installation always gets broken off stating that there is an error.
Is anyone familiar with that kind of problem and if yes, does anyone know how I can fix it?

Flash CS4 publishes/previews with missing masked images

This has me stumped and frustrated!
I have some simple bitmaps that I've masked with graphics.
When I use the playhead to watch the movie, it looks fine. When I preview or publish, the masked images are missing completely.
What could I be doing wrong?

A couple additional notes - the layer with the graphic (symbol) is rotated and the layer above it (mask) is also rotated at an angle. I don't see how that should matter at all...

Here's a screenshot. I have a total of 4 masked images throughout the movie (none of which are working). In this case, I'm showing you "mask" (the orange box) and "photo-windows" (the image below it)

Title templates are missing

All of the sudden, I find out that I can no longer put text on my video, because my title templates are gone, along with all my generators. Does anyone know how to get back my title templates and text without deleting and reloading my FCPx?

"Page from Sample" items are missing

We purchased Dreamweaver after reading a few manuals. The feature that we liked was the ability to open a restaurant sample, or template. However, none of these items appear on our copy of dreamweaver.
Can anyone explain why we have no samples in our version?

Looks like some books will need to be updated.
I have just checked the CS3 and CS4 editions of that book in the Safari Online library. At a quick glance, all that has been done to the opening section of the chapter on forms is to update the screenshots to use the Dreamweaver CS4 interface.
It takes a long time to write a book, so it's not unusual for an author to create most of the examples even before a beta version of the software is made available. I know, because that's how I manage to publish a 900-page book within a month or so of the software's release. Unfortunately, the author of Dreamweaver CS4 on Demand relied on sample pages from the previous version, and didn't bother to check they were still there. There's a lot of pressure on authors just before publication time, but I'm suprised something like that slipped through.

Some sample Applescripts are missing from Script menu.

I am a new to AppleScript and I have just started reading A Beginner's Guide to Apple Script (by Guy Hart-Davis). The book makes numerous references to the default example scripts that are created during OS X install. I have added the script menu to to the menu bar and when I open the script menu - I only see about half of the default scripts that are shown in the book. I did some browsing and found other examples of the script menu which shows fewer scripts than the example in the book - but still shows a few more than what I am seeing on my system. On my system I do not see the following scripts (Address Book Scripts, Basics, Finder Scripts, Info Scripts, Internet Services, Navigation Scripts, URL's or Virtual PC Scripts). I am on SL 10.6.2. The book is written for SL 10.6 - but also makes references to Leopard 10.5. Is there something wrong with my system or were some of these default scripts eliminated in 10.6.2. My iMac came with 10.6.1 initially - so I have no prior OS version as a point of reference. My concern is that I progress with the lessons and exercises in the book - that there will be continued references to these missing scripts - as I suspect that the missing scripts may be used as a starting point for creating new scripts. Any idea where I can find the scripts that I listed as missing?

Thanks. The book I am using appears to be a brand new book just released a month ago (or so). It appears the book may have been written for Leopard and tweaked for Snow Leopard (but under the guise of being the other way around) - without actually verifying that the examples for Snow Leopard actually work. The website for the book (McGraw Hill) does not seem to provide a mechanism for providing feedback or errata info. So far these missing scripts have not hampered my progress - except on the initial example. I was more concerned that something was missing from my iMac.

Title template are missing

I just downloaded PP 5.5 and to my surprise I couldnot find the standared title template.
Anyone knows how to add them? in worst case, Is it possilble to copy them from CS3 ?

Flash CS4 can't use arial-keeps changing to arial MT (font mappings - missing fonts)

I am using Flash CS4 on Windows Server 2003 (i know it sounds strange, but there are reasons).
I previously had Flash CS2, but ever since I installed CS4 my font mappings have been messed up. Any time I open a fla with any standard fonts (arial, tahoma, etc) it tells me the fonts are missing. When this happens with arial..I set the font mapping back to arial, and everything seems to work fine. Until I try to change a text field to arial. When I do this flash automatically changes it to arial MT. It will not let me use arial. This really isn't a problem until I am using a dynamic text field. Because dynamic text fields use system fonts, so when a user opens one of my swf's on their computer it looks for arial MT not arial. If they don't have arial MT (which most people don't) it changes the font to their system default (usually times new roman).
The only work around I have found successful is to embed the fonts in the dynamic text field. I really don't want to do this as I am just wanting to use arial. I have search the ends of the internet and can't find anyone else with a similar problem.
To sum it up...
My flash cs4 font mappings are messed up. It won't let me use arial. Forces me to use arial MT.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had an existing Flash website, opened CS4 received Arial font no good. Looked up the solution. At Microsoft is said that the mappings were confused by the names used for arial, no problems download the patch.
Next time still the error message PLUS now the fonts come up as a combination of symbols best described as rubbish. I wanted arial, plain old no nonsense arial.
Any tips to overcome the patch?

Template files missing

After install Lion on opening my sites with iWeb, each page comes up with a window indicating that several png and jpg files (part of the template) are missing. Has anyone else experienced this and what can one do. The files themselves show up (once unhidden) in Finder.

Where are user-created Flash CS4 templates stored?

This seems like it should be MUCH simpler than it is turning out to be:
I have made a custom template in Flash CS4.
I want to share it with a colleague.
The obvious solution, I would think, would be to COPY the template file from my hard drive, and provide it to my colleague.
However, I have looked high and low, and CANNOT FIND WHERE USER TEMPLATES ARE STORED on my hard drive. I have found the Adobe-provided templates that are included with the product (the "Advertising" templates) at Program Files>Adobe>Adobe Flash CS4>en>Configuration>Templates>Advertising; but MY CUSTOM TEMPLATES are not in the Templates directory.
I have also looked in My Documents, and run several searches on my hard drive, but still cannot find the location of my custom templates. Surely they are SOMEPLACE on my hard drive, as they are available from the Splash page every time I boot up Flash CS4.
PLEASE, O PLEASE, Adobe, reveal this great secret. I have also scoured your databases and user forums, but apparently I am the only person interested in simplified workflow vis-a-vis sharing custom templates.

Need Missing Templates For Flash CS4

I am looking for these templates: Brew Handsets, Consumer Devices, Global Handsets, Japanese Handsets and Photo Slideshows.
I understand that they were included in Flash CS3. Unfortunately, I removed my Flash CS3 before installing Flash CS4.
Does Adobe have a place to download these templates. If not, they should!
