Flash cs5.5 black screen in windows vista

Hello Everybody ^^! I am currently having a problem when launching the trial version of flash cs5.5 . The screen that says the timeleft at my trial comes up but the flash cs5.5 screen stays black and is "not responding". About two weeks ago, it worked, so i don't know what is happening. All my other programs work. I tried to reinstall it, to delete the left flash cs5.5 program files after the uninstall and many other things, but it dosen't work... Your help would be appreciated!
Here is a screen capture of the flash cs5.5 blackscreen. notice that in the frame of the window it tells" not responding".
NOTE:I use windows vista home premium edition.

Hi Jeremy,
Sorry for the inconvienence. Are you still experiencing the same problem? if yes, please go ahead and Uninstall, Delete your user configuration folder C:/Users/([Username]/AppData/Local/Adobe/Flash CS5.5/en_US/Configuration then reinstall again.
Hope that helps.

    Hi wb2009,
I haven't found that the TV would be an issue, but did find an article that states to not have extra USB devices connected.
Boot Camp: Windows installation boots to black screen with blinking cursor
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4536
The Windows installation may boot to a black screen with a blinking cursor. This can occur if you use a USB optical drive or USB Flash drive for the Windows installation and another USB device is also connected to the computer.
There's another article that mentions Windows XP or Vista that may apply.

I am having the exact same problem with my 13" early 2011 Macbook Pro. I have 10.6.8. I used the disk that came with the laptop to restore the OS to 10.6.7 but the problem existed there too. I have now updated it back to 10.6.8. The problem still exists. This doesn't seem to be limited to an OS version and seems like an issue with device driver or with hardware. I will try to take it to the Apple store and see if this gets resolved.
You too have a black screen in Windows 7. ?

  • Black Screen Installing Windows 7 with Bootcamp

I know it sounds like a known problem, but if tried alot of solutions i found on internet but noting worked yet.
    Here is some information:
Mac Mini mid 2011 (2.7 GHz)
I've installed windows before, but I have added a second SSD. al workes fine.
Installed OS X with a backup on de new SSD. Tried to start Windows with Parallels, but it couldn't find it anymore.
No problem I thought just format the old hdd and reinstall windows.
    Now this is what happens:
I start bootcamp. let it make a usb drive with an windows iso and the support software.
Now I create a partition on the hdd (150GB should do it).
Mac restarts. I hear the startup tune. A short white screen.
But then a black screen. no windows logo, or whatelse.
    I tried reseting NVRAM.
I found a lot of sites telling me to delete some files, but that is very difficult when there are no files.
I tried a lot of restarts and selecting the booting device. And just waiting for a few hours, but the screen stays black.
I even tried a partition on the SSD and using the whole hdd.
So what is the problem? I'm out of idea's.

Another thing I forgot to mention was that when I had windows, installed and running and had black screen issue on rebooting, I used to verify and repair my permissions using disk utility. All my permissions would get fixed and windows would boot up fine. But however when trying to do a clean install of Windows 7 over the past few days, all but one permission does not get fixed. Apple's support site says it can be safely ignored. But I feel this could be causing my problem. Here is the error from disk utility:
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.

  • BLACK SCREEN stating "windows could not start because the following is miss

I installed Bootcamp update 2.1 and then XP SP3.
Now when I start up my Mac I am getting a BLACK SCREEN stating "windows could not start because the following is missing or corrupt: <windows root>\system 32-hal.dll Please re-installl a copy of hte above file"
I tried to use the option key and insert the Windows CD but it won't start up.
Also, when I start up I must use the option key and select the Mac OS and it will start up and everything is fine there. Advice appreciated.

Did you ever solve this? I had updated to BC 2.1 (After updating Apple Software Update al on the Windows side) I waited & just tonight tried to install SP-3. It appeared to install & When I was prompted to restart--I also got the black screen. Mine said:
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:\Windows\inf\biosinfo.inf
You can attempt to repair the file by starting Windows setup using the original setup CD-ROM. Select ‘r’ at the 1st screen to repair.
I just force powered off & booted into Mac.
I think I need to restart my Mac into Windows (using the Option key ) WHILE THE WINDOWS XP CD is in the optical Drive. Then maybe I’ll get a choice to select ‘r’ to repair at the 1st screen?
You may need to do essentially the same thing. I do not know if this problem is a boot camp problem of just a Windows problem.
    Sure is annoying,
    Good luck!

  • Black screen during windows 7 install on mac mini

I have a mac mini 2013.  Trying to install windows 7 via usb iso file.  downloaded iso file to mac mini desktop from windows supported site.  This is a 30 trial that can be installed after 30 with a genuine key, which I plan on buying.  8 gb usb stick.  dloaded latest updates for OS and bootcamp.  Ran bootcamp.  pointed to iso file.  partitioned 200GB fro windows 7 home version.  clicked advanced and formatted disk for bootcamp..(  load driver was also available, what is that??)
checked ALL 3 options BTW.  It expands and loads files every time and gets to install select lang...etc.  then computer restarts and hangs at black screen.  caps and num lock light up when pressed, no other response.  I can boot to safe mode in Windows but it say it has to return to normal mode to finish install, which then returns me to black screen.  I can reboot to white apple screen with disk options and choose usb drive and it says loading files, then goes back to starting windows, windows logo appears, then black screen and just sits there have waited 30 minutes and nothing.  I have read this could be a graphics driver issue? If so is there a way to force the support drivers to load, and how?  this is for my Son and we have tried for a couple months with no luck, does the trial version have anything to do with it?  I would pay for a windows 7 iso file download but no luck.

  • Black Screen on Windows 7 After Installing Windows Drivers

I recently installed windows 7 Home Premium on my 2010 13" Macbook Pro. Everything seemed to go okay, and windows would boot and run fine (albeit, with a few difficulties which would be fixed with the boot camp drivers). I inserted the OSX install CD, and ran the bootcamp setup.exe, following apple's instructions. Immediately after the install, I restarted my computer. When I attempted to boot into Windows 7, the windows icon would appear, followed by a black screen with a frozen white cursor (solid, not flashing) in the center. Safe mode worked once, but appears to suffer a similar problem now, displaying the blue login screen, without the user picture, or password box, with the cursor frozen in the center. OSX runs just fine.
    Any help?

Not sure what the MBP issues are but if you can rollback, uninstall program/device driver.
you may need to do system repair startup or go to Windows 7 DVD to revert and repair.
Getting to Boot Camp 3.2 might help.

  • (Mid-2009 MacBook Pro) Black screen on windows 7 disk boot up

Just tried to boot up from a windows 7 install disk, but I just got a black screen. Nothing else happened. Tried using an xp and vista disk also, but they both produced the same results. I've installed windows plenty of times from this computer before, but for some reason this time it decided not to work.
    Any suggestions?

The only other relevant Support document is this one: If your Mac won't turn on - Apple Support but if your Caps Lock LED illuminates when you press it then your Mac is not completely dead. Technically, it turns on, even though it appears to do nothing else. In that case Apple refers you to the following document: Troubleshooting: My computer has no video but I doubt it will help because you cannot even get your Mac to start.
You will need to obtain the System Install DVD as I wrote, so that you can start the Mac, load an operating system, and format the SSD so that OS X can be installed. You might need to remove the SSD and install a conventional hard disk drive instead, at least until you can get the Mac working to the point you can install an operating system.

  • Boot Camp won't boot Win 7 DVDs /Cloned disks - White cursor flashes once then Black Screen of Death.

    Hi Guys,
I am having a serious issue with my machines ability to use boot camp. Here's what happend: I had Win 7 installed on the BOOTCAMP partition for a long while, then one day my HD crashed. So naturally I got my HD replaced from Apple and got Lion reinstalled and wokring flawlessly. Then I planned to get my Boot Camp going again, but my computer has a will against it I swear.  So I run Boot Camp Assistant , create the parition and reboot. At this point I have my Win 7 disk burned using Disk utility in the drive, I am using a dvd disk image from Microsofts online store.  I reboot and the computer hangs at the "pick a harddrive" grey for a second. Then the DVD drive spins up and I get a black screen, then for ever so slight a moment there is a flash of a white _ a the top left, then flash , nothing, the screen remains illumniated. Now I tried this multiple times , let it run over night , and nothing. Its almost as if my laptop will no longer boot the style of dvd that win 7 is.
Being a diagnostics first type of a person I tested all the variables, the win 7 cd works fine in other macbook pros. My computer boots other mac os x DVDs without a problem.  I also tried using winclone to create a copy of another machines Boot Camp and flash it to my BOOT CAMP drive but this has the exact same result! Therefore it seems that the underlying system that runs my Macs ability to boot from Windows-style? partitions and dvd is broken. I also tried installing rEFIt, but that doesn't seem to help. I also tried booting off of an external USB drive with the same result. I tried zapping p-ram , scm and doing all software updates.
Has anyone expereinced anything like this? Anyone found resolution to a similar issue? Any other tricks related to Macs EFI and boot process that I could use to debug this? Anywhere that EFI stores logs possibly?
I went to the Apple's Genius Bar and they were stumped on my issue. I felt that they should be able to fix it considering it booted fine before I had Apple replace my HD.
Thanks to any responders, I'm really hitting my head on the table now and would love some help.

Have you reset the PRAM? It should usually be done when replacing any hardware. Have you got the latest EFI firmware for your Mac?
Not knowing what model /YEAR your MBP is (not that it would help me too much but the other fellas probably would) it's hard to guess as there are issue's for different models. The only thing I could find was it's usually caused by a non-conforming video driver. Microsoft had a page on it I found by accident and now I can't find it!
WinClone hasn't been updated by the original author in over a year, others have tweeked it a little to work with W7 but seems to be semi reliable, so the be aware.
Unless the other MBP's are identical in Model AND year your putting older or incompatible drivers on your MBP. Boot Camp, (especially if your using the drivers on the original install disks, like 10.6 and earlier) will only install for that specific computer. Just like the OS installer.
    EDIT:
Oh yeah, are you sure you have the partition formatted the right way, thats another black screen problem.

  • Flash player show black screen on playing streaming video.

    Hello All,
I'm using Bitgravity live stream in flash AS3.0. The video stream work pecfectly in FP 9. I have recently migrated to Flash CS5. I have published my player in Flash player 10. It provide better rendering and high video quality, almost like HD. But there is some issue while playing video stream in FP 10. I''m using netstream. publish(). method. Some time the Flash player show totaly black screen and but audio still plays. If we press F5 on browser it may come or may not work fine.
Case1: Customer 1 using FP 10 turn off Hardware rendering and black out screen ploblem solved.
Case2: Customer 2 using FP 10 truned on Hardware rendering the Black out screen problem resolved.
I'm confused with the solution that i should provide to my customer, since it is very difficult to debug the error. For the time i have switched back to FP9 + CS4.
How can we determine the issue. ?
Does GPU capability is having some pipeline issue with decoding the incoming H.264 packets.with acc audio? Or the stream have some issue that flash is unable to recognize at first time?
    Thanks,
    Ajitpal

Sounds like you've got malware alright.
As far as image burning, I ONLY use Roxio Media Creator, or PowerISO to burn images to disk. Nero will do it, but I can't run it with Roxio (conflicts).
You need to do thorough virus scan and cleanup.

  • Torch 9810 slow red flashing light then black screen

    Hi,
My phone is over 1 year old, so its not covered by Wind provider warranty. its 15 months now. One day, I plugged into the computer, it was doing an OS update, then froze at 30%. ever since, it is flashing red a few times then nothing... complete black screen. I tried it on different computers and even went to retail store and they tried it, nothing. They said its a blackberry OS issue and need to restore to factory OS and let it do update again. how do i do this? I know its not battery issue because we tried other good batteries. help!!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please refer to this official download portal as you proceed. It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
From a PC, you can install any compatible (e.g., for your exact BB Model Number) OS package to a BB via this procedure:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Device-Software/How-To-Reload-Your-Operating-Syste...
Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC. After installing the OS package to your PC, please remeber to delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
Be sure that you remove, from your PC, any other BB device OS packages as having more than one installed to the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.
You may also want to investigate the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe it is capable of.
You may also want to try the "Bare Bones OS Reload Procedure" to attempt to narrow down the precise causal item:
Load your OS "bare bones"...if anything is optional, do not install it.
If the behavior presents immediately, then try a different OS with step 1
If the behavior does not immediately present, then run for as long as it takes for you to be sure that the behavior will not present.
Add one thing -- no matter how tempting, just one.
If the behavior does not present immediately, then again run for long enough to be sure it will not have the same problem
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are loaded or the behavior presents
When the behavior presents, you know the culprit...the last thing you loaded.
If the behavior does not re-present, then you know that either step 1 or 2 cured it.
If the behavior presents no matter what, then you likely have a hardware level issue for which no amount of OS or software can cure.

  • GTX670 - Signal lost/black screen after windows loading icon

    Hello,
I hope I am posting this in the correct forum area.  If not I do apologize.
    Here are my specs:
    Board: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming
Bios: ?? whatever pre-installed on mobo
    VGA:   MSI GTX670 OC
    PSU:   Corsair HX750 750W
    Intel Core i7-4790K
    MEM: 12 GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600 2x 4GB, 2x 2GB sticks
HDD: SSD Kingston 120 GB (Win7), HDD 1 TB WD 7200 RPM (Win7), HDD 1.5 TB WD 7200 RPM (storage)
COOLER: Corsair Hydro Series H60 Water Cooler
OC: no overclocking done by me..default settings
    OS: Windows 7 64bit Professional
So to keep this as direct and as short as humanly possible here is my situation.
Had a gtx670 card that I had to send back to MSI under RMA.  They sent me what looks like a new gtx670 card (no dust) that I received yesterday (4 Aug).  Last night I removed temporary old card (9800gt) and plugged in new 670gtx.  Things seemed to be ok, reinstalled driver after card was recognized.  Played one round of Battlefield 4 for testing purposes and all seemed good.
Upon exiting the game things went south in a hurry.  Moving the mouse cursor around was extremely slow and choppy.  Mouse clicks were not recognized.  I could not bring up ctrl-alt-del to get to task manager.  At this point the cursor turned to spinning circle as if things were happening.  However, after 5+ minutes of nothing changing I did a hard boot.
Restarted and after the windows loading screen the signal appeared to be lost to the monitor and I was left with black screen.  This was with the SSD.  I then attempted to load into the HDD windows OS that I hadn't logged into yet with this card and was greeted with the same issue.
I can load into Safe Mode with no issues.  In safe mode I removed all nvidia drivers and was then able to load into windows normally using basic windows vga drivers.  The moment I load the Nvidia drivers and restart the computer I then have the issue again.  This happens with both drives.
I have reset the video card in the PCI-Ex16 slot and still received the problem.  I have tried a different PCI-Ex16 slot and still had the issue.  I put the old 9800gt card back in and windows loaded perfectly and without issues on both drives.  I put the 670gt in and try to load into normal windows and I lose signal and get black screen after the windows loading screen.
I'm at a loss at the moment.  I think it's the drivers, but could it be the card?
Doing some research I've come across some people saying there may be issues with the nvidia HD audio drivers that are installed with the video drivers.  Could it be as simple as uninstalling or unchecking that particular driver?

Flashed the BIOS last night to the latest version and attempted to launch windows with the GTX670 card.  I still experienced the same issue where as soon as windows finishes it's loading animation (with Nvidia drivers) and it goes to the login screen, the monitors cut out.
At this point I feel like it has to be the card.  The moment I install the video drivers and restart, I have the problem of losing the signal/black screen.
    What I have done:
    1) Completely wiped any/all video related drivers from the computer and started from scratch. No success.
    2) Ran Memtestx86 to see if it's a problem with my memory sticks. No problems found.
    3) Put the card in a different PCI-Ex16 slot to see if there was a problem with the slot. No success.
    4) Flash updated the BIOS on the motherboard to the latest version. No success.
I have a dual boot computer with Windows 7 64-bit installed on an SSD and a HDD.  The problem happens on both drives.  Yet, the moment I install my old 9800GT the problem disappears and I can login to Windows just fine.
I will be sending the card back today on another RMA.
