When i start flash program, It doesn't work.
well i use Adobe Creative Suite 5 design premium.
I have been using the flash CS5 program trial version.
but when I got a serial number. this error started.

To repair your Flash Catalyst Fileset you will need to copy the following directory from a working Flash Catalyst installation into the same location in your Fileset.
Import the "temp" directory from:
/Applications/Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5/plugins/com.adobe.thermo.core_1.0.0.273393/com/adobe/thermo/
into the same location in your Fileset:
/Applications/Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5/plugins/com.adobe.thermo.core_1.0.0.273393/com/adobe/thermo/
When completed, the fileset should have the following directories in
/Applications/Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5/plugins/com.adobe.thermo.core_1.0.0.273393/com/adobe/thermo/
application/
batching/
core/
exceptions/
headlights/
interfaces/
models/
temp/
undo/
utils/
There are a number of directories in the Plugins directory that start with "com.adobe.thermo.core…" Please make sure that you follow the path correctly.

So I was installing Adobe Flash CS5 and ended up with this error.
I've been looking around the forums, and trying several things, but nothing seems to be working. I uninstalled Flash CS4, and used the Adobe CS5 Cleaner Tool.

May I know the Windows version you are using? If possible copy the latest installation log file from C: Program files\Common Files\Adobe\Installer folder.

Flash CS5.5 error 103: application.version is an unexpected element/attribute

Hello,
I am trying to publish from a flash file, an .ipa file to use in ipad and iphone, but keep receiving the "error 103: application.version is an unexpected element/attribute" error message.
I already publish the app in flash CS5 and it was ok but today i install CS5.5 and the error does not alow me to publish the same file...
Is it an Air ADL problem?
Any suggestions?

The name of app.
Ex: XXXXXXXX.appname
Use "appname".
But error is related to version number in app xml.

I have fla files and when I opened by flash cs5 11.5.1 it says "An error occurred opening file". I tried sure to make it rar or zip and repair it. When I opened by WinRar it says "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged"

Flash Catalyst Launch Error Problem

Hello,
I recently installed the web production of Adobe CS5. I have been trying to launch Flash Catalyst and been getting this error message:
Internal Error:
"A file system error is preventing Adobe Flash Catalyst from launching"
Then I have to hit "ok" and the program doesn't load, does anyone know how to fix this?

Same error but here's more info
FC launches fine when logged in as a standard local user account on the machine.
FC fails to launch when logged in on a network user account (LDAP, Open Directory account on XServe).
This makes me think that FC is trying to write a file in a location that is forbidden for it to use.
I've deleted all network user Preferences files and it still fails to launch.
I've deleted all netowrk user Application Support Files and it still fails to launch.
Problem exists for my configurations

iMac, MacBook Pros
All Adobe updates for CS5 up to date
No other Adobe apps in the Master Suite collection have similar problems.
Somebody out there has a fix for this...please help.

AE CS5 launching error

Hello
I'm using windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
I've got the Adobe Master Collection CS5 and last night installed PS 64bit, and AE among those collection components.
There was two types of Photoshop(32 bit, 64 bit), but no for AE(at least I don't think that's the one causing this error)
No problems with PS so far but AE is driving me going crazy.
here's what I see when I launch the program.
With around 0.1 second of this message appearing, it immediately vanishes.
therefore, It was hard to capture that message in right time(tried many times, finally got it)
Anyway, What do you think the problem is?
I've been trying to find any possible reasons through web for hours, reading many posts others had reported before.
and from lots of leads, now I have a feeling it might be related to some kinda windows fonts crash but I'm not sure.
I'm looking forward to seeing any solutions. help me plz!!!

Runtime Error when launching Flash CS5 in Windows Vista 32bit

I installed Flash CS5 as a Trial and when i tried to launch it the error message appears on the screen:

Runtime Error
This application has requested Runtime to terminated it in a unusual way.

I already tried to re-install Vista again and even tried to install flash in XP with the same unsucess result.

1.Check whether your system meets the minimum requirements.
2. Install the current Windows Service Pack and other updates.

I have used Macromedia Flash MX for many, many moons. Finally, when I got Windows 7, I was VERY excited to get updated on MX and move to Adobe Flash Professional CS5. However, i have never once been able to use this program, as it crashes pretty much every time i try to do anything. However, since my upgrade, i've noticed a lot more crashing in MX as well (i still have it installed on my old HD and have been using it to build videos rather than CS5 since it crashes less frequently). Now, i'm at my wit's end. I get the above error message when i do pretty much anything, but most recently it's EVERY time i try to select all unused files from the library. The error message i get in MX is "Flash 6.0 r25 has stopped working," but it's the same exact problem in the problem signature as CS5's:

3. (Windows) Disable Compatibility Mode.
   For information on compatibility mode, see Using Windows 7 or Vista compatibility mode.
Windows Compatibility Mode can cause errors to occur with Adobe Creative Suite products. To disable it, do the following:
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\[application name].
Right-click the product application file and choose Properties.
In the Compatibility tab, deselect all options under Compatibility Mode, Settings, and Privilege Level.
Click OK, and relaunch the Adobe Creative Suite 5 product.
4. Disable startup items and services.
   Applications running in the background can prevent Creative Suite 5, CS5.5, and CS6 products from launching. For instructions on temporarily disabling these items, see the following documents:
Disable startup items and Services (Windows XP)
Restart Windows in a modified mode (Windows 7 and Windows Vista)
Start the system in Safe Boot mode (Mac OS)
5. Log in using a new local administrative user account.
   A new local administrative account can rule out network policies, corrupt profiles, and incorrectly setup administrative accounts as the cause of a failed launch. To create a local administrator account, see the following:
Windows XP: Choose Start > Help And Support and see the article "Add a new user to the computer," or contact your system administrator.
Windows Vista/Windows 7: Create new local administrator account (Windows Vista) (kb404912)
Mac OS: Creating and modifying user accounts on the Apple support website. This video demonstrates the procedure to create a Standard user account. To create an Administrator account, select Administrator in the New Accounts menu.
6. Delete all Adobefnt*.lst files
Search for and delete all copies of the AdobeFnt*.lst file that you find on the hard disk:
(Mac OS) In the Finder, choose File > Find (Command + F).
(Windows XP) In Explorer, click the Search button (Ctrl+F).
(Windows Vista/7) In Explorer, use the search box in the upper right (Ctrl+F).
Type Adobefnt*.lst and then click the Search icon. If you have more than one hard drive, only search the system (OS) drive.
(Windows XP Search Assistant) Choose All Files and Folders. Under More advanced options select Search System Folders, Search hidden files and folders, and Search subfolders.
Click within the search results. Choose Edit > Select All, and then drag the selected files to the Trash (Mac OS) or Recycle Bin (Windows).
(Mac OS) Choose Finder > Empty Trash.
Restart the application.
If an Adobefnt*.lst file becomes damaged, it can cause the application to crash, freeze, or quit when you try to start it. Adobefnt.lst files (for example, Adobefnt10.list for InDesign) are font cache files that Adobe applications use to quickly gather and store information about available fonts. If you delete or rename an Adobefnt.lst file, the application re-creates it the next time you start the application.
7. Troubleshoot font issues.
Remove or disable nonessential fonts and then restart your Creative Suite application. See:
Reduce the number of active fonts (Windows XP)
Reduce the number of active fonts (Windows 7 and Windows Vista)
Troubleshoot fonts (Mac OS)
8. (Windows) Update your video card driver.
Download the latest driver from your video card manufacturer's website or contact the manufacturer for an updated driver.
9. Search the knowledgebase for errors.
Search the Adobe knowledgebase for any errors that appear:
Go to the Adobe Support website and choose your product from the Select Product Support Center menu.
Type the error into the search field and click Search.
Note: Omit file paths and registry keys from the search string.
10. Run the Adobe Support Advisor.
The Adobe Support Advisor is an AIR app that helps identify and resolve installation issues. It can also assist with errors that occur when AMT is running. For more information, see Using the Adobe Support Advisor (kb405816) and Troubleshoot launch errors using Creative Suite launch logs (cpsid_83478).
11. Perform system troubleshooting steps
Follow the steps in Troubleshoot system errors and freezes | Adobe software on Windows (cpsid_82252) or Troubleshoot system errors and freezes | Adobe software on Mac OS (cpsid_82414).

FLASH CS5: JAVA RUNTIME ERROR

Hi Guys!
I'm facing a serious problem that I can't figure out how to solve it!
I installed the Flash CS5 trial and each time I launch the application, a windows with the message (error initializing java runtime and may need to reinstall Flash )
That's making 6 times that I reinstall Flash CS5, Java 6.21, unisntall, install from CS5 Suite, single Flash CS5 and always the same problem.
I use Windows 7 X86
I tried to find the solution all around the web, the Adobe support and nothing seems to point out the solution!
Is there someone here that can help?

I think the idea is that Flash AS3 compiler needs JRE to compile swfs, so please update to the latest JRE version for CS5 to work. You would not need to install, CS5 Flash again and again.

Launch flash builder from flash cs5 don't work

I have a trial version of flash builder (eclipse plug-in) and registered flash cs5 pro

and it doesn't work.
at first it did asked if I want to edit the file in flash builder or not, and it didnt work.
now it won't even ask.
what can I do?
and also I cant open a flash proffessional project in flash builder, it says "This feature requires Adobe Flash CS5 or higher to be installed."
but it is installed!
frustrated...

I gave this a shot, using CS5, and when I started a new AS3 file I got the appropriate prompt asking me which application should edit my file...

When I chose Flash Builder, (which I had already running), it opened the new AS3 file there with no problems. Interestingly, when I closed FB, and with Flash Pro created a new AS3 class, I wasn't prompted (and the AS file opened in Flash Pro) - so it does require that FB be running, or else Flash Pro will be the default editor.
For the issue of Flash no longer prompting you "Who" will open a new file, you can change that here:
Edit > Preferences > ActionScript > Several items down is the Class editor. Change that to Flash Builder
If you still have problems...Are you able to successfully launch Flash Builder 4 by itself? Or has the trial expired?

FLASH CS5.5 Fails to launch on Mac OS 10.6.8

Hi. Have seen some similar posts, but not helped. Running on brand new iMacs all with same image, some work, some don't. The following is what I copied from the amt3.log file in the /tmp folder. Any ideas?

It turns out that the problem had to do with network accounts, even though it was not clear at first. Redirecting the program to the local machine's cache with a network home redirector script fixed the issue. Thanks anyway.

When you uninstall and reinstall, it is always worth running the Cleaner Tool in between.
