Flash CS6 :: Cant access fonts installed on Mac

Text Tool does NOT provide me all the Fonts(typefaces) installed on my mac. Particularly i would like to use certain Fonts, so any solution leading to just bringing individual fonts would be good enough for now.
What i did so far:
I use Font Book to manage my fonts, the font I have in mind is not damaged and there are no conflicts. they show up in all other Adobe software. I tried to clear my Font Cache and it didnt work (as suggested in few discussions).

What if my SWF loads external content from an online server?
Not only does the current flash player prohibit such activity, it doesn't even pop open an error anymore saying there was an error connecting to an online source.
Normally, I would simply drag the SWF into Flash and all connections would go through. I could see traces, errors, and experience no issues.
Now I can't even do that. So what then? You have crippled a fundamental use of the program, but THANK GOD we have that deco brush that nobody asked for.
And for the record, the nature of my work benefits from not necessarily allowing the Flash Player to connect to online content. The error it pops up? That's simply another method of error checking that I require. Updating the Flash Player options is not an option.
Why would you even remove this key feature from Flash anyways? It's been there for years ... has the ratio of people importing SWFs (a rather useless gesture in an increasing OOP world) really outweighed the people using Flash as a testing environment that much?

Where are they installed in OSX?
Do my Adobe programs install fonts in a different folder than other programs do?

I got a prompt on a website saying that I needed to download
FlashPlayer 9 and plug-in. I downloaded the installer and tried to
install the application. When I get the test page I also get the

Well, none of these steps have been tested (by me) on a non
Intel mac.. So maybe we need different steps for PowerPC
processors, which wouldn't necessarily make sense to me.
Can you try these steps in order please and let me know what

Flash Player 10 won't install on Mac

I am running a Mac ibook g4 with Mac OS X V.10.4.11. I am trying to upgrade to flash player 10. In the process I uninstalled player 9 and downloaded player 10. I get the Adobe Flash Player.pkg and when I try to open it to run it it tries to open in word. I am sure it is not installed on my computer because I can no longer run any video on Youtube, I have retired to install player 9 and I run into the same problem. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Do I not want to run that file? How do I get my computer to replay videos without installing Firefox? Thank you.

Hi juano, I'm shaking my head here:-) Strange indeed. Were you able to locate the SWF for Flash Player and Shockwave Player?
They MUST be there and enabled, otherwise even tho this test indicates installed. My opinion is that the tests are looking at the Flash Player and Shockwave Player files. And evidently those files are installed. This has happened many many times with the PC's. I have had too many users report what you are and the tests show installed, but not working. If the
SWF's are not enabled, or the ActiveX Control that is used in IE, then FP will not work. As soon as they enable it, problem
solved. Now, granted that doesn't mean there may not be another problem even with the SWF & ActiveX Control enabled.
This is just something that must be confirmed before proceeding to find what other problem there may be.
This is a different test site from Adobe and it is the one the other Mac user tested on with FF and it told him he needed an
additional plug-in, which was the SWF and it was missing. It wouldn't hurt to try only using FF and it only tests for the Flash Player SWF plug-in, not the Shockwave Player.

Now this test will only tell you that FP is installed and IF the SWF plug-in is missing. If you have the SWF installed, but not Enabled, it won't tell you that. That is why I wanted you to find those SWF plug-ins to make sure they were enabled. If I knew where they were located in Mac, I would tell you. I am guessing here, but I think they are in the Library where any other plug-ins are, as Quicktime, etc.

Cant access movies on my mac with my iPad!

So I have movies that I have purchased off of iTunes stored on my mac, they are actually on an external hard-drive, but I can no longer access my stored movies from my iPad. the message "request timed out" appears after a short while of waiting. please help!

How are you trying to "access" these? Do you mean sync or are you doing something fancy with wi-fi and Home Sharing?

Cant access facebook using my mac

i moved to China for 3 months in september 2012 and when i returned to the UK in jan 2013 my computer was unable to access facebook. I recently purchased a new macbook and bought the one to one data transfer software. Before i tranferred the data i was able to access facebook fine on the new mac but ever since the data transfer i can no longer get onto facebook and am experiencing the same problem as i had on the old mac. I have reset safari HELP!

Make sure your Date/Time and Time Zone are correct.
System Preferences > Date & Time

After download Flash CS6 trial does not install.

OSX 10.7.3 Double clicking on Install does nothing.

There were no errors. The Install icon would expand and fade out as if it was launching then nothing.
I restarted in safe mode by holding shift while restating (shings are running very slow) and all went well. The trial has installd and is running.
This is the first time in many many years I've used safe mode.
fyi here's my current version of AIR:

I downloaded the trial to my other laptop with the same version of AIR this morning and it seems to be installing without issues.

Can't install Flash CS6

We have installed CC package on windows 7 64bit.
But now when I am trying to install Flash CS6 it is not installing.

CC thinks Flash CS6 is installed and it isn't

Okay, I really need Flash CS6, because Flash CC doesn't publish any lower than Flash 10.3 and won't publish AS2 which is what the websites' specifications call for. This alone is causing massive headaches.
So I need Flash CS6 which I used to have installed (legally) but my licence expired so I went to Creative Cloud.
Creative Cloud Desktop still thinks I have Flash CS6 on my workstations but I don't. I deleted it when I went to an SSD for the system hard drive.
So I can't download Flash CS6 either and I have web banners to despatch.
Massive frustration here...

Okay, to sort the problem (no thanks at all to Adobe. I was on 'Live Chat' for an hour with no help...) I 'got' a .dmg file for Flash CS6 and when I installed it I just clicked on 'I have a subscription'.
But the problem with the Creative Cloud Desktop persists - there is too much reliance on it (no alternative download options) and the software itself is flakey. It's constantly asking to update itself, lord knows why and then it doesn't work when you do actually need it. And since I'm now paying monthly for service, I'm less than impressed with both the product and Adobe's attitude. Why take away support for AS2 and Flash <10.2? Bah humbug...

You cannot use a Mac serial on Windows. Changing platform can be an expensive task. However, since CS6 is still current Adobe MIGHT convert the license for you if you contact them.

How do you sync a wireless mouse when u cant access anything?

how is it possible to syn a wireless mouse when u cant access anything on your mac mini without a mouse connected? its like dead in the water without a wired mouse.

If the mouse is working, it should pair automatically when you reboot, which you can do by holding down the power button for a few seconds.
