Is there a program out I can install or play on my Samsung Galaxy 5 Epic 4G that will work?
I need to access web sites for my business from my phone.

found the problem...it is Android 2.1, they have not released Android 2.2 for this phone yet.

When will Firefox have Adobe Flash for Android cell phones?

My website requires Adobe Flash Player to be installed to view images in my photo gallery. Why doesn't Mozilla Firefox support Adobe Flash Player? Will it be available in the very near future? This is an extremely important feature for my site.

Firefox can use Flash if it is on your device, although this may not always work perfectly. But Firefox never comes with Flash bundled in (I think this is due to Firefox using an open source software license).

Regarding the design of your gallery, how does it work on Apple iOS devices that can't run Flash due to Apple policies? Maybe there's a similar "fallback" technique that can work on Firefox for Android if the user hasn't installed Flash.

Flash Player WAS available for Android... Until June 2012. It is no more and won't ever be again. Adnroid is no longer compatible with Flash technology. Adbroid (Google) has alternative browsers (Dolphin & Puffin) which can play Flash content using server side rendering. These are available in the GooglePlay Store. There are free versions, but apparently Google is selling the FULL versions which must be used to view Flash content.
And.. DO NOT post your private email in a public forum. It's unsafe and prohibited by Adobe community guidelines.

Still Need Flash for Android 4.0

I don't know what's going on or why it's now labeled that it's not available for my country on Google Play, but I still need it for my NEW Android Tablet.
Much like other things in life, we still need what we still need. How do I get it downloaded for my Galaxy Tab 2? Even the description left at Google Play says it's for up to Android 4.0. That's what I have. Yet it won't allow me to download/install it.
Without it, I cannot play any video's from specific web sites, like Amazon. So what are people like me supposed to do? I know the file still has to exist somewhere, so why can't I still get it in some archived form like older versions of Flash for PC's??

After 11.1, there is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android (as you can see) is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. I just bought a Cruz Reader it has the Android 2.0 O.S on it, I keep trying to d/l adobe flash but I'm running into dead ends everywhere.
I want to transfer an epub I bought from borders to my reader but in order to do that I need Digital Edition on my PC and I need Flash on my reader but I can't get flash on it. I downloaded it in a zip file but the reader can't do anything with that it says it can't parsel it or whatever.
Does ANYONE know ANYTHING I can do, Velocity's phones are down they're on the east coast, Borders has a several hour help wait. Please help.

I have found some Roms that will mod the O.S into the ability to handle zips but of course that voids the warrenty and I'm not keen on that.

I see Adobe has locked us Android owners out of having the flash player.. I also see that simultaneously ABC is charging android owners if we want to watch our favorite programs on our smart phones. Hmm... flash has always been free and now we have to pay that it is ubiquitous....again...hmmm...
My question - legacy flash is not working...I am GREATLY disappointed.. Is there any remedy?

Follow this and you should be able to play...i play on 3G all the time. There a a bunch of people that couldnt get it to work for some reason...I don't have any work arounds or answers if my steps don't work. It works great for me.

Developing Flash for Android

I have been developing an app for my Android Tablet in Flash CS5 and have not been able to get my PC to recognize the device.
So I have been sending my .apk to myself via email attachment and opening it on my Android Tablet and attempting to install the app for testing.
But I have continually gotten an error, even when I save it to a microSD card on the Android Tablet.
It simply won't install.
I was wondering if there is an example .apk file (Hello World even) that has been created in Flash and has installed on an Android device,
which I could use to test whether the problem is with my development or with the device.

but I can not publish/install to the tablet from Flash CS5. I am attempting to publish straight to the tablet from
Flash. Is there an intermediate step that I am missing in my dev process?

Advice on using Flash in the future for Android VS. Air VS. Web Development

First, I am not trolling and I see that other similar questions have been asked recently, though I am looking for specific info to meet the needs of our program (that is why I am posting this now).
We've been teaching Flash at a community college for many years. After Adobe stopped development of the Flash Player for browsers, I'm left wondering what the future of Flash in the web will be? Data shows that a majority of web browsing will take place from mobile devices over the next several years, and if you are not going to be able to view Flash web content in a browser from a mobile device, I am concerned about whether it makes sense to continue teaching Flash to students for web design/development. I know Flash can also be used for developing applications, Air, etc., and we do some of that currently, I'm just wondering how Adobe can expect developers to commit to the platform for web development without supporting mobile web browsers. Am I missing something? Do developers see this differently? I appreciate any insight from Flash developers or Adobe employees. FYI - I just did a similar analysis with our video editing program and asked similar questions in an Apple Final Cut Pro forum and we are moving away from Apple's Final Cut Pro after they changed direction with their latest release and we are now going to start teaching Adobe Premiere. Should we focus teaching Flash for Android and Air development and back off from using it for web development?

I'd like an answer for this one too. Thank you, "Media Kat" for posting the question. I am a prototyper with a background in art and design, who has worked exclusively with Flash for nearly 13 years. I'm currently working with AIR for Android, but my superiors and associates think AIR is going to die (along with the rest of Flash) and don't understand that simply "switching to HTML5" is not a very palatable answer. It would be helpful to hear from someone "in the know" about the future of Flash.
