You are doing 2 things wrong:
1. you are trying to run EXE file(installer) on MAC
2. You are trying to run a very old application on latest configuration which is not compatible and may not fulfill the appropriate requirement.

There is no 'earlier' version that supports XP. iCloud launched with Vista/7 support only.

You haven't actually asked a question, but as stated you should only download Flash Player directy from Adobe.
Nor have you said what version of OS X and Safari you are running.
You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version,10.3 or later, is for Intel Macs only, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.0.1.152 is for Lion.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

I downloaded fp_10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0_archive but it will not install. I did use Flash uninstaller program first.
Under Application, Adobe Flash.app 10.1 r102 18.9 MB shows installed.
What did I do wrong?
If I uninstall Safari, then download reinstall, will that help me? I currently have no Flash plug-in with Safari 4.1.3 or Firefox 3.6.22.Did you maybe install the stand alone player & not the plugin for browsers?

Look for the fp10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0archive folder, open it, look for the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 folder & open and look for 101r10264 folder & open it, double click on the flashplayer101r102_64_ubmac.dmg file, choose the Install Adobe Flash Player file to install... they don't make it easy!

youtube not opening in Safari browser. However it works with google browser. There is a red arrow coming, with https in you tube, and the page just does not open. help required.
It seems I have done some mistake when you tube was open, and i stopped one site to delete!

I had few issues with Mozzilla browser so i uninstalled it completely and tried to re install it again. But when i try to reinstall it , it does not install fully , it breaks half way and says, Firefox has stopped working. I cant install Firefox now. Can you help.

A download, iPhoto, Version 9.4.2, released November 2012; has been on my download page for three weeks. Despite a half dozen attempts to install it, it has never completed the download. I tried. It would not download. A drop down notice said an error had occurred and to return to the purchase page; which I have done on numerous occasions. (What I am to do on the purchase page I am not sure, other than to click on purchases and see that the same iPhoto download is available. By the way, this was not purchased. It just showed up with two other items free items, which did download nicely.)

A recent update download upset my entire itunes program. Unable to use to sync iphone, ipad, etc nor run any other updates. Get runtime error message, Error 7 (windows error 1114) etc...and contact app support team. Says itunes not installed correctly, pls reinstall. tried to no avail.
