Flash fullscreen not working properly

When I click the fullscreen button on flash video players (YouTube, vimeo, etc), most of the time it fullscreens for a split second and then exits fullscreen. I have to spam the button really fast and get lucky for the fullscreen mode to "stick." Any ideas?
I've had this problem for a while now, any help is appreciated!

I have the same problem. The first flash fullscreen works, in a firefox or chromium session. Then, if I try again to watch a flash video in fullscreen, it goes fullscreen for a second then the webpage is back with the video freezing. The videoplayback is continuing in another layer, I can hear the sound. If I click on the top of the window, the video continue embedded.

hi there, since i have reinstalled my laptop, i am having
problem watching online videos properly, its like sounds comes
perfect, the video slows down and even stuck, cant watch whats

I still don't know what "reinstalled my laptop means". Put it
back on your lap? Humor...arr-arr.
Anyway, you have Firefox with the latest FP10 plug-in. Have
you verified this with the "Version Tester"

and checked the support pages at
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/
I ask these questions not to be mean, but to verify your
version and make you aware of the differences between IE FP
(ActiveX) and FF FP (plug-in). Also... the version checker will act
funky if you have 2 different FP versions installed, such as your
XP's OE IE and your added FF. Look in Control Panel, Add/Remove
Programs. Do you see a previous version of FP there? You may need
to update your IE's FP as well, it could be conflicting with your
FFFP.
Another thing to check.... AVG8's Linkscanner has caused some
issues, mostly by slowing down site-loading. To test this, turn
off/diable that feature. Yes, it'll whine about it. (end of part 1)

Why are flash games not working properly on Firefox, while they work perfectly on other browsers?

I own a MacBook os x 10.5.8 Intel core duo.
My problem started a few weeks ago, I tried playing a flash game, first it came up that i didnt have flash, which I did, so I ran an update but I already had the latest version.
I gave up on the games on that page and went to newgrounds.com, but turns out everytime I try to play a game the controls wont work properly on any game.
I thought it might be my flash, so I went to chrome and played the same game, no problems, to opera, no problems, to safari also no problems. So the problem is my firefox and the flash plug in? I already uninstalled it and re installed it, downloaded it again and followed every piece of advice I could find about this, nothing works.
I appreciate some help with this matter, I like working with firefox, wouldnt want to change to other browsers.

Hi gorgonzola357, there are some platform-specific differences between Windows 7 and MacOSX that may be relevant.
Have you tried disabling the new protected mode in Flash 11.3, since that feature is currently being debugged? Flash Uploader not working properly

My flash uploder doesnt seem to work properly when uploading to sites like youtube, mediafire or just any website which uses the flash uploader. In certain places the files do upload but without any animation (bar filling up, %, etc.) but in others they don't upload at all.
I'm currently using firefox. Tried using other browsers like opera, safari and ie but it does the same thing.
I tried reinstalling flash through control panel and with the flash uninstaller tool but it doesn't fix the problem.
Also, I had this problem on two different os', vista and win7 which I'm using right now. When I had vista, the problem could be fixed by reinstalling flash but it usually came back in a few days.
Hoping somebody will help me fix this...

Flash player not working properly after I added RAM. Video becomes jumpy

I recently added some RAM to my computer, and now flash player isnt working very well. It will work fine for a couple of minutes then the video starts to become jumpy, like its skipping frames, and eventually becomes so bad its unwatchable. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I switched my memory back to, neither of those worked. The only thing I can do is pause whatever I may be watching for long periods of time then start back up, but the problem persists after a few minutes. Im only having a problem with adobe flash player and am at a loss as how to resolve this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Adobe flash player not working properly

I just tried to play a game, but the game says i need flash player 8 or up.
I have the latest version, so it shouldn't say that. So I tried to re-install both the game and flash player several times, but that didn't work.
For the rest, flash player works, I can play games, and videos work normally.
Another weird thing is, on the site where you can download it, it says I have flash player installed, but it is disabled. But as far as I know, you hav to enable it at plugins, and it's enabled there.
So, does anyone know how to fix this?

This is one of two things:
1. The game has outdated version ID code in it. This dates back to the days when Flash Player was in singel digit versions, 9 and below. If that's the case, nfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about it.
2. The game is written for NPAPI Flash. IF that's the case, it's not findign it with the Chrome Plug-in because it's PPAPI. Solution:
Downlaod the Standard plug-in - Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Then disable the PepperFlash Plug-in in Chrime, forcing it to fall back on the Standard plug-in.

Flash games not working properly

When going to games on the Mattel.com site the game will load but clicking the play now icon doesn't work. If I right click in the window and hit play the next screen will load but again nothing seems to work. This games on the site work just fine on 4 other systems in the house. This is a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Any ideas?

Nevermind. apparently these games will not play without speakers or headphones plugged in. Neat trick

Some of my flash-files just started acting weird since the latest "patch"...
Says: "WARNING: Actions on button or MovieClip instances are not supported in ActionScript 3.0. All scripts on object instances will be ignored."
And it just ignores my actions....

Flash player not working properly on belle.

I have belle on my C6-01. I also have lots of hd flv files which were played pretty smooth in S^3 and Anna, but I'm having very hard time playing them in belle. I tried to play a file for like 20 times and only 2-3 times it actually played normally. Most of the times it shows an "F" icon on top left of the screen. And rest of the time, it just hang there and do nothing. I don't know why they took this long to update to a buggy os. They should have released this as a beta version of Belle. And should take feed back from customers to make the alpha of this os.

There's lots of threads dedicated to this problem. Nokia has taken note of it and has started an investigation into it. Check Nokia's FAQ section regularly for an answer.

Flash player does not work properly on Windows 7 32 bits

My flash player does not work properly on Windows 7 32 bits with Firfox and IE8 (lasts versions).
My Flash player version : 10.0.45.2, but I tried with version 9 too, with same problems.
I have tried to uninstall, reboot, reinstall several times, ... witch did not worked.
In fact, it works correctly on some sites, like youtube, but not on some others like :
http://www.dailymotion.com/ => black screen instead of videos, right click gives flash context menu
http://www.canalplus.fr/ => videos does not load, right click gives flash context menu
http://www.myspace.com/ => no audio player, right click gives flash context menu
some games in http://www.kongregate.com/ => black screen instead of games, right click gives flash context menu
I have no problem with shockwave in http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
No problem too with flash player on http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
But in the Global Privacy Settings panel (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.htm l), I cannot change any settings :
I cannot check boxes,
My changes are not saved.
In most of flash animations, videos, ...,
when I click on parameters, I cannot do anything, even closing.
when I am in full screen mode, the message "press escape to exit...." does not disappear.
Last thing, all those problems was not there when I was on Windows XP, few weeks ago, and appear with my registered Windows 7 premium familly edition, with the same hardware configuration...

Run the Clean Installer to Fix 3rd Party Flash Player Cleaners
I did not "clean" my computer.
Troubleshoot Pop-up blockers
I have no Pop-up or esle blocker software.
Ensure that Internet utilities do not block Flash Player
I tried (uninstall, install and run) without Avast.
I have windows 7 firewall. I do not know where I can allow ActiveX controls and Flash (SWF) content. I do not see anything relative to ActiveX an Flash in allowed program list.
Fix machine crashes when displaying Flash content
I have no freez or crash.
Using IE, Shockwave Flash Object is Enabled and vs 10.0.45.2
Using FF, I have SWF vs 10.0.45.2 and it is Enabled
I really do not understand !!

I have lost track of the number of websites that do not work properly on the iPad without Adobe Flash player which is unsupported. I cannot use retail sites, billing sites and most important of all job application sites. All are missing tabs, links, info

I have lost track of the number of websites which do not work properly on my iPad. They include retail sites, billing sites and most important of all job application sites. They all seem to require Adobe Flash Player which cannot be downloaded onto an iPad. Skyfire does not solve the problem. They all load without vital parts of the site such as tabs, links and correct formatting. Any suggestions?

Most such brower/service combinations have a difficult time working with Flash-based apps and often fail completely. Flash videos are usually the most successful content these browers can handle. You can try the others apps - Puffin, iSwifter, etc - but you may find that none of them work, in which case you will not be able to use your iPad with these sites other than by using one of the various remote control solutions to take over a computer running the full Flash Player.
IMHO, any developer that built a Flash application for a billing or job application site was an idiot, but I know that's out of the control of anyone but the relevant company.

Flash Player installed but not working properly

I have Windows 7 64 bit, and run IE11.
I have Adobe Flash Player installed.
It works fine on my login (administrator) but my young Son can not watch video's, as it says Flash Player is not installed.
How do I fix this please?
