Flash Install Help Please

I'm having an exceedingly infuriating time trying to install flash on my mac I'm using safari 7.1.....i needed to update my flash player for one of my movie sites so i goto n adobe and I followed the instructions, went through user name and password etc. When the download box appears it flashes retrieving download briefly then just goes blank and does nothing else... I followed every troubleshooting suggestion checked the preferences made sure its allowed etc. Then it suggests a clean install... ok, thats not a bad idea doing that has been a definite help before....... well...... now I have no flash player at all and it still won't complete or start the download, whichever the case may be since i am not entirely sure...... I need some help or any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated since now I'm quite sol...

This seems to be a major problem. I've been trying for 8 hours to find a fix to the problem. I'm running windows 7 home, 64 bit, uninstalled any prior versions of flash, and every time i try to get flash, I can get the download, but when I select run, it loses connection. I even did a system restore to see if something that had recently updated was causing the problem.

- Let the battery fully drain. The charge for an hour and see what happens, Try resetting too:

Flash button help PLEASE

PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Ok, here is my problem in short. I am fairly competent in
flash. I am able to export a flash button out in flash 6, but am
not in flash 8 or 9. The button just turns dead after i upload the
button into dreamweaver even though its working when i export it
out in flash.
I did ALOT of experimenting. The button that was exported out
in flash 8 or 9 can work with "_blank" but not "_self". I did
exactly the same thing for flash 6 and it works!!! This is so
frustrating.
I was hoping to export it out in flash 8 or 9 because it has
additional graphics in it.
Can anyone please tell me what is wrong. THANKS.
(dead button means when clicked on nothing happens)

If you want to use Flash for navigation, consider this -
1. Some people don't have Flash installed - what do they do?
2. Search engines don't parse Flash links - your site will
not be spidered
3. Screen assistive devices don't parse Flash links - what
will those users
do?
4. DW cannot maintain links within a Flash movie, so if you
move or rename
a linked file, your navigation will break - what will you do?
It's usually a very bad idea for these reasons...

Flash and reader wont install help please

Hi , never posted on a forum so be gentle
neither flash or reader x will install , it gets to 50 percent then gives a generic fail message ( flash encounterd problems andthen just stops)
im using an old
p4 2.4
gigabyte 8ipe100 mobo
ac 97 sound
ati radeon 9800 pro
windows xp pro 32 bit
the latest firefox browser
was trying to install the latest flash player from the main adobe website
any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanxs in advance

For Adobe Reader, use the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
If that does not resolve your problem, please post in the Adobe Reader forum.

MX7 Install Help Please

I have installed ColdFusion MX7 Enterprise on my Fedora Core
4 (Plesk 8) Unix Server. It is installed to the deafult directory
/opt/coldfusionmx7/ and the installation went well.
To access my administrator panel I was told to go to the
following
http://72.35.76.29:8500/CFIDE/administrator/login.cfm
where the ip address is my server address. I was also told to try
http://72.35.76.29/CFIDE/administrator/login.cfm
without the port as the port number was only needed for a debian
install which is not my case, I was a Unix install on Fedora Core
4.
As you can see the adminstrator panel does not come up. I
don't know how to access the panel and need help, I've tried
everything.
I have configured plesk, it see's Coldfusion and works
however there is no way for me to access the administrator panel
which in turn doesn't help me much. Please help..... what do I
do?????

My installation looks good, I have all successful and 1
warning which is with the c++ compatibility pack (I've been told
this is normal?). I have attached the log for your viewing.
My server has Apache so I was told NOT to install the
internal web server but the external web server. I would pressume
this is correct? If not that would be my mistake!
Secondly when you install an internal webserver it looks for
files in the /opt/coldfusionmx7/wwwroot/ Directory which would be
the default
http://localhost:8500/ correct?
So if I have an EXTERNAL webserver
(perl-Apache-ASP-2.59-fc4.build80060613.20) and I am on Fedora Core
4 (Linux) . So what is my default directory now? From what I can
see if you just go to my
http://ipaddress it is the directory
for the following on my server. /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs
I thought I heard someone say I had to move my CFIDE
directory???? Where to? I appreciate the help and your anticipated
response as I would like to get this up and running (it was a
rather very expensive software piece ha-ha)!

Flash drive help PLEASE

i have a 1gb godisk flash drive and for some reason it has made two disk images. it use to be where one of the images was the actual flash drive memory and the other for some reason was named "no name" and only had the size of 1.4mb. well yesterday the real memory disappeared and the only one that is left is the 1.4mb. if i try to restore it thats all it sees.
so what do i do. is the flash drive trash now?
PLEASE HELP.

Hi Josh
In Disk Utility select the flash drive and instead of Restore click Erase to reformat the volume. I would suggest MS-DOS if you ever wanted to use it on Windows.

10.7.2 will NOT install help please

iMac 27 (2.8 / 4gb) and my mbp (2.8 / 4gb)
Neither of then will take the 10.7.2 update. Both machines reported the corrupted update (not expandable or corrupted during download error) after The lion recovery update downloads / installs, the OS update completely downloads and reboots. On reboot the machines both error out 30 seconds into the install.
There is a thread on here that states others have had the same issue and worked through it using a combination of the repairing their disk permissions and immediately installing the update from the downloaded combo update DMG and NOT using software update.
When I download and launch the update combo update dmg or the client update (non combo?) dmg ALL of the dmg's also error out on INVALID checksum ... On two completely separate machines, I get invalid checksums from dmg's from the apple site? someone please explain. Even if I skip the verification the installer looks normal until it starts to install and then also errors out.
The reports that have been successful at getting the update to install all report that repairing the permissions are the cure... - when I repair disk permissions, I get a load of system/library/coreservices/remotemanagment/ardagent.app....... Junk that should be.... And i get the same list on both machines. The permmisions repair lists them as repaired.
.... Then if I DO nothing, other than simply press "repair disk permissions" again, it lists all the same mess of mismatched perms....
Please help?

I am currently sitting at 10.7.1. When I ORIGINALLY started this adventure, I did my usual update through Software Update and there were two items listed:
"Lion Recovery Update"
"Mac OS X 10.7.2"
I simply allowed all to proceed as normal. When the machine rebooted to install the OS update- it verifies the installer for about 30 seconds and then I get -
"The update "Mac OS X Update" can't be installed. The update could not be expanded and may have been corrupted during downloading. The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs."
And this is where I cannot get past. No mater what procedure I do- I cannot get the download to install on either of my machines. https://discussions.apple.com/message/16378707#16378707
is an earlier thread that I has been experiencing the same issues, and this is where I got the info regarding the disk permision repairs- and trying to install from the downloaded image and not through Software Update.
This makes no sense to me. I have downloaded the update dmg from apple at least 10 times on two different machines, and on every one- their checksum is invalid? Even when I check the checksum with disk utility it reports an error?
Only other thing of note is that my iPads will also not update through itunes and also report that the download was corrupted or damaged during download?
I'm stuck. I hope that this explanation is clear?

Flash 8 Help please

Hellow fellas, I am having solving a flash 8 problem with a
new website I am making. I have created a small movie that animates
my logo across the front of a flash header. The movie is complete
and saved to the computer but when I preview it in my browser it
continues to loop over and over with no end, and my navigation
buttons roll as though the mouse is passing over them continually
as well. This only happens when previewed in my browser and not in
FLash 8 when I animate it there.
If any of you have experienced this or have insight please
post it here. PS this is my first attempt at making a website but
am learning quickly. So go slow if you dont mind.

action script that was recommended to me with no change. The file
will run fine when I press play on the player but will loop when I
use the test movie option. NOW when I use the test movie option its

Adobe Flash Player Help Please !!

Greetings,
Here is the story. I just bought a new iMac running 10.83. The problem I'm having is that I cannot watch any of the news site videos because they all ask for Adobe Flash Player. I have downloaded Adobe and am not getting any results. The video starts to run, but then either stops and/or looses the sound. Examples of sites are loacal news, CNN and Weather Channel. Nothing seems to work.
This has become really frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just do not understand why I'm not able to get this up and going.

Two bugs, one affecting Apple's Mac platform and another attacking Microsoft's Windows, exploit certain Flash player vulnerabilities to install malware onto users' systems, reports ArsTechnica. While users of other operating systems like Linux have yet to report attacks, Adobe's advisory notes the exploit affects all platforms.
Designated as CVE-2013-0634, the first vulnerability targets the Safari and Firefox Web browsers running on OS X, and is also being used as a trojan to deploy Microsoft Word documents containing malware. For Mac users, the flaw affects Adobe Flash Player version 11.5.502.146 or earlier.
On March 1 Apple again blocked Flash Player for Lion and Mountain Lion:

The Adobe Flash patch can be found on Adobe’s website, and users can visit this page to check if their software is the most curent version.
You should uninstall any previous version first, and repair permissions after installing the new version.

I might be able to piggy back on your thread. First of all have you triedd stopping the service though task manager? Do that and see if there is an error message. I hope someone can suggest a registry hack that may solve this IPOD service issue.

When you go to Internet Recovery use Disk Utility to repair the drive and repair permissions. Then erase the partition, formatting it as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Click the option button and select GUID. Then try to install the OS.

Leopard 10.5.6 won't install, help please

I have a Powermac G5 1.8 ghz dual processor running OSX 10.4.11. In light of the fact Snow Leopard won't run on Powermac g% I decided to purchase one of the few remaining OSX Leopard 10.5.6 Family Packs off Amazon.co.uk.
When I insert the Leopard install disc after a few moments of reading the install DVD the screen prompts you to restart your system with the disc still installed. On boot up all I seem to get is a white screen with the Apple logo, with no further progression possible beyond this point. (It is as though the system is struggling to read the DVD).
Please can anyone offer any suggestions or do I need a product return due to a faulty disc.

How long are you letting it sit in that state? A few minutes? An hour or more?
Please can anyone offer any suggestions or do I need a product return due to a faulty disc.
I'd try giving my optical drive's lens a cleaning first.
