Flash is asking for network permission

For some reason, the first time i executed flash player (since last updated) my firewall popup asking for permition to connect with some ip, i give the privilegies and work, many of my client (i have a web application) call me today for the same reason. hope that help to you, and excuse me for my english.

It's hard to tell what's going on from your description. Flash is a network enabled plugin, so it's very common for flash content to communicate with network resources. Do you trust the website that you are visiting when this appears in your firewall warning dialog? Do you know the IP addresses in question?

Acrobat (Pro or Standard) does not apply a "default" protection. It appears that someone or some other process has applied protection.

Apple TV 2 is asking for network time before I can purchase a movie? Restarted it and still requesting network time. Wifi is connected and works. Any ideas?

How do you fix this? My wifi is operating 100% connected and I can access the Itunes Movies etc. How do I get it to work again?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you've had it working previously, try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for a 30 seconds, or a restore if the problem persists.

Not asking for network password

My company guest network wifi updates n/w password every day. When I switch on my MAC book there will be a popup screen asking for network name and password( auto join network). But some times, it is not asking for the password once it expires. I restarted mac book, but still its could join network and i donn have any way to enter the new password.

add this to your start-up: gnome-keyring-daemon --components=gpg

I just went through this last night. (Aug 15, 2013)
What I did to get back up and running. This is not the first time I have lost the network connection with my Apple TV 3
Products effected: Apple TV 3 and Home Sharing (My Apple TV 1 was not effected)
Power down (unplug) the Apple TV and power down your router ( in my case, it is a FIOS router, flipping the on/off works fine).
Power both items back up.
At this point, I usually can reenter my Apple ID and PW. and reconnect Home Sharing. But for some reason I was unable to reconnect last night but was able to get it reconnected in the morning. I was jut to tired to deal with it last night.
A new issue that is was able to fix after a good nights sleep.
I did figure out, (after trying to reenter my ID and PW many times and having it tell me that my ID and PW was wrong), that when using the Apple TV on screen keypad to type in the user ID. DO NOT use the ".com" keypad button. Instead type out each character for .com. ( or what ever ending you use for your ID account.)
Once I typed out my full ID and PW. everything is back to 100%

Article from MSDN with fix tool but it cannot installed on my Windows 8 OS, is there way to fix it without giving any unauthorized access to my system?

The windows firewall on this machine is currently blocking remote debugging.
According the message, the following ports need to be enabled for remote debugging. Use the procedure that is described in the section

Flash movie asking for authentication???

Hi,
I'm new to flash 8, I recently created a simple menu with a
couple of buttons. When I view the movie in an html file on the
computer that hosts it, It appears fine. If I try to view that page
from another computer on the network it brings up a secure realm
type authentication window, asking for the username and password
for the windows account on the machine hosting the file. If I don't
enter any details the file never loads.
Why is it doing this? How do I fix it?

Create an SM50 trace with only the security component turned to trace level 2. In order to do so, run transaction SM50 and select some of the dialog work processes (around 5). Then choose 'Processes -> Trace -> Active components' from the menu (or use CTRL-SHIFT-F7). Set the trace level to 2 and select only the 'Security' component. Reproduce the SSO problem, and note the time. Return to the SAP system to check the traces you just started (CTRL-SHIFT-F8 in SM50). This trace collects information on work process level. Therefore, you need to find the work process that has handled the authentication attempt.
This procedure is described in Note 495911 in more detail.

Which wireless security type did you configure your AirPort Extreme with? You basically have two choices: WPA Personal or WPA2 Personal. There are actually others, but these are the most common in use today.
What version of Windows is the Sony laptop running and which service pack level is it at? Do you know what wireless security types that this laptop's wireless can support?

Single app purchased (Flash CC asked for serial number)

I just bought single app from (flash profesional) for 1 month membership. I got invoice and bill, but still can't use the product.
I tried to find my serial on my plan & product, but i still missing it .When i try to open flash, adobe flash cc ask med for serial number.

Save and close the file.
Duplicated host file and saved as hosts.backup.
As following (e.) which file do i need to delete these entries (127.0.0.1 xxx adobe.com). hosts.backup right?

ITunes repeatedly asking for network access

Since I upgraded iTunes recently to the latest version, my system is asks for iTunes network access every time I log in. I always grant access, enter my admin login and password and it still asks me this same question every time I log into my system. I would be most grateful for any suggestions that anyone may have on this issue.

I can't install Firefox. When I hit "Run" it asks for an administrators permission. I am the administrator of this computer. I am the Only user of this computer. When I check the box to use the current user it just stops and does nothing.

Temporarily save to another folder, until you figure it out.
Just because you are the owner and are the sole administrator, does not always guarantee that you have permission. There are several folders that you can not access no matter how hard you try. As for folders in your document folder, it is more likely a basic permission setting that took on permissions of a copied file. Some folders and files are set to a child/parent default setting, meaning the child folder/file (the one you are accessing) has the identical settings of its parent and when the parent changes, so does the child.
You can alter the parent or the child folder/file.
Right click on the folder/file select properties.
Click on the security tab.
Click on each of the group names and see what permissions are set.
You can then edit a group if necessary.
If it will not allow it, you may need to use the advanced button to create a new copy of the group which should happen when you alter its settings (In other words, you don't have to physically create the copy, it does it for you when you OK the changes)
The administrator should have full access to the folder in the documents folder, if you are listed as an associate of the administrator group your name should also be listed there with full access. The System should also have full access.
All other groups should have reading access only if they exist.

Flash projector asking for permisson to access webcam?

on a kiosk system I use a webcam and it works great here on my pc and other too. Just heard the PC where it is installed is askting for permission to the webcam when starting the Flash executable. I assume there is windows 7 home edition on the PC. Does this has something to do with user rights?

Windows 7 computers asking for network password to access shared files and printers on Windows XP PRO computer.

I have a network of 10 computers configured as peer-to-peer work group. I have upgraded one of the ten from Windows XP PRO to Windows 7 PRO. The other nine computers are all running XP PRO. AS near as I can tell they are all configured the same. I have the
same user and same passwords on all computers. One of XP computers is used as a print server. The Windows 7 computer initially was able to access shared files and printers on all XP machines with out requesting a network password.
Suddenly, the Win 7 computer began requesting a network password to access the shared files and printers on the XP print server. It will not accept any of the user names or passwords (all administrators on both machines with identical names and passwords.)
The Win 7 computer has no problem accessing the shared files on the other XP machines. It can even access shared printers in a different work group. Apparently something has changed but I'm at my wits end trying to figure what changed on either the Windows
7 machine or the print server XP machine.

On the Windows 7 computer, go to “Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings” and ensure that the
following items are turned ON:
Network Discovery
File and printer sharing
And this one is OFF:
Password protected sharing

Temporarily disable or remove all the security software (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc.) on the computers and check if it works.

Xp laptop keeps asking for "network key" when trying to connect to airport

Hi all. Just connected a new airport extreme and all went well with the Imac and ethernet connected Vista machine and 3 iphones. Life was good and then I tried to connect my toshiba running xp sp2 and I keep getting a message saying the network requires a "Network Key". This is not the password but something else I can't figure out. Extreme's security level is set a WEP/WEP2 and I have dissabled the firewall on the toshiba. I can get connected when I travel to hotels everywhere just not at home.
Any ideas?

Here I think you may have meant to say WPA/WPA2? WEP is normally WEP128 or WEP64, etc.
Anti-virus programs can sometimes prevent connections, so that might be an angle. XP SP2 should certainly support WPA/WPA2 levels if that is what you meant. WEP is another can of worms.
Not sure about the "network key", that's normally simply the "password". Just a hunch here.....
Open AirPort Utility - Click Manual Setup
Click the Base Station menu item (at the uppermost top of the screen)
Click Equivalent Network Password
This will reveal the actual code that is generated by your "password". Maybe the Toshiba is looking for that?

Whenever I open Reddit, I get the pop up, "Firefox HTML Document (0 bytes)" which asks for my permission to be downloaded. On Cricinfo, I get a similar pop up.

This would also occur on other websites, but these are the two of the websites that I frequent a lot more. The problem is, even if I click on "Do this automatically..." button, all what it eventually does is that all such files gets saved in the default "download" folder which slows my system down. Help?

This behavior is not the right behavior - neither of these sites would prompt you to download any files when you visit them. Can you please check if this happens when you open Firefox in safe mode too. Instructions for running Firefox in safe mode are below
