Flash is moved 10px to the left

Hello!
I just made a flash-file (swf) with CS5.5 11.5.1.349 at a size of 800*800px.
There are some texts that go really near the right border and some pictures at x-position =0.
However, when I view it in the adobe flash viewer or the flash-plugin within firefox, there is a little margin on the left (about 10px) and also about 10px missing on the right.
Is that a problem with my flash-player or did I set some settings wrong?
I'm using WIndows 7 SP1 64 bit by the way.
You can see the flas uploaded here (if you don't see a problem, it's likely my flash-player):
http://dediggefedde.deviantart.com/art/Divequest-flash-chapter-5-345336055
By the way: I used a lot of pictures and made some resizes within the flash. Are they automatically optimized or do I need to resize them first before importing to not produce a high file-size?
Regards,
Julian

Well, even the native flash player when opening the swf-file shows this behavior...
Ans since I didn't hear about a method to change it's behavior with html and the margin is INSIDE the embebed object and not a margin or padding, the html-export gives me the exact same display with an offset of about 10px to the right.
Do you get the same problem when viwing the flash-file?
e.g. when you click "Start" the white picture should be really on x-pos=0, no black frame on the left.
or when you hover at the bottom, the grey bar should be filling. it is set to x=0px, width=800px.
Is there an option in adobe flash to set a global offset?

  • How do i get the refresh button to not disappear after i have moved it to the left side of the address bar in firefox 8?

    when i customize the toolbar i moved the refresh button to the left side of the address bar, i also put the stop button and home button there as well. but after i click done when i have finished only the refresh bar disappears, but i can click customize and it reshows up in the same spot only to disappear again after i click done. it used to work just fine in firefox 3.

    I've attached a screenshot. You may have to move one of the buttons around a bit until it settles down. Alternatively you can also add a '''Separator''' ('''View''' (or '''Alt''' + '''V''') > '''Toolbars''' > '''Customize''') between the two.

  • Moving markers to the left on the timeline

    Reposition marker is a great feature when you want to move a marker to the right on the time line after you have added something into the timeline. But what about when you delete a clip from the timeline? Is there an easy way to shift the existing markers to the left (other than editing each marker individually by copying and pasting the new timecode value)?

    I wish. This has been a HUGE complaint of mine, the fact that markers don't move with the changes you make. Well, if you attach them to the timeline, they don't, but if you attach them to a CLIP, they do. But the BIG problem is that when they are attached to a clip, they don't show up in the Canvas or the Timeline. BIG pain. I and others have made feature requests for years and it seems to be falling on deaf ears.
    How difficult can this be to fix? Or make work PROPERLY?

  • Moving Notifications To The Left?

    I can't seem to find an answer to this question on the Internet no matter how I phrase it. So here's the problem.
    I love Notifications on the Mac. I probably use them too much. The problem with that is that they cover up my desktop icons and one of the neat little 3rd party menu tools I installed.
    That being said, is there anyway to move Notifications to the upper left?
    Thanks,
    -K

    Yeah, I might have to. For now I'm just hitting snooze, but it gets kind of annoying with 15 reminders pop back up at once.

  • Scroll bar moved layout slightly to left

    If content on ALL of my site either did or didn't require a scroll bar, the transitions when clicking from page to page would all look smooth. Unfortunately I have some pages that are short (and so the browser displays no display bar) and other pages that are long, and when the scroll bar appears, my content gets moved slightly to the left.   I suppose I could just keep adding a bunch of new paragraphs at the bottom of my short pages until a scroll bar appears, but this problem is bugging me. I'd like to fix it the real way. To visualize this problem see attached pictures below.
    And here's some of the code that I think is relevant to my issue here.
    body {
        background-attachment: fixed;
        background-image: url(images2/palisades.jpg);
        background-repeat: no-repeat;
        background-color: #000000;
        background-position: center left;
        -webkit-background-size: cover;
        -moz-background-size: cover;
        -o-background-size: cover;
        background-size: cover;
        margin: 0;
        padding: 0;
    .header {
        width: 1000px;
        margin-left: auto;
        margin-right: auto;
        height: 50px;
    Below: the scroll bar pushes content slightly to the left.

    Actually, this one looks pretty simple.
    The first page shown is long enough to need a vertical scrollbar. When that scroll bar kicks on, the actual width of the page changes slightly, so the content (which appears to be centered) will shift to the left when the scroll bar appears.
    If it really bothers you (most visitors would never notice it) you can add a scroll bar to every page on your site (the pages that don't need it will pop up with a grayed out bar that doesn't allow scrolling) and your pages won't shift anymore if you add in overflow-y:scroll to the body tag css....
    body {
         overflow-y:scroll;

  • How do I move the left margin of the body text closer to the left edge of a page?

         When the left margin is set to 0 in the layout for the main body of text the text starts at 1 13/16"!  I have "Show Layout" on and the layout left border starts at 1 13/16".  How do I get this moved closer to the left edge of the page?

    Now that you've given me the template, I have been able to check.
    You are right. In fact there are other odd glitches in this template. The Headers and Footers are hard left, with no adjustment possible.
    It is not just this template it is most of the Letterhead templates that I have opened. On all margins. It appears Apple has done something in the xml and hasn't checked their own work, or simply is not interested. My guess is they made the error with one and used that one to make the other variations from it.
    I suggest creating your own stationery template from a blank template or using one of the other templates that doesn't have the problem.

  • Firefox opens and shows the web site but is shifted over to the left so only half is visible. IE8 is fine

    Firefox opens and loads the web site, but it has a blank 3 inch border down the whole of the right hand side, Firefox is moved over to the left so that i can only see half of it. The red cross to close it down is still at the very top right hand corner!

  • After FlashPlayer 11.04, a website with videos on, like YOUTUBE opens a seperated process and the videos appear in the left top corner and can't be moved.

    After updating to a version after FlashPlayer 11.02 when opening a window with flash videos on, next to the process of Firefox in the Task Bar appears a new process with the Flash Player icon and the video window is placed in the top left corner and can't be moved. If there are more then one video in that page when clicking that Flash Player icon you can see a list of all the videos.
    Using FlashPlayer 11.02 this problem doesn't happen and I used this solution for some time, but now If I use that version I get a black window with an error message about security reasons, but if I click it it plays without any problem. Although in some websites that need Flash it says it needs at least version 10, but I have 11.02 but doesn't recognize it and demands to be upgraded.
    This is all very weird because only happens in my laptop, I have a desktop with the exact same windows and Firefx version and this doesn't happen. I already tried to uninstall Firefox completly and even deleteing all plugins and extensions and the problem remains.
    Uninstalling Flash player also solves this, but then I'm asked to update the the Flash player. This problems doesn't happen in Chrome or IExplorer 10:

    Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.
    In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:

  • My scrollbar unexpectedly has moved to the left side of the screen (only in Firefox), and I don't know how to move it back

    my scrollbar has unexpected moved to the left side of the screen in stead of the right side, and I don't know how to move it back. This only occurs in Firefox.

    Set the pref layout.scrollbar.side to ''2'' to place the scroll bar at the right side.

    You should take it to an Apple store or an AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) Carefully inspect the hinge joint and make sure there is no debris that you can see, you can try carefully sliding some sticky tape thru the joint to clear any loose stuff out. But this sounds like there might be more going on here, and the hinge is something that you do not want to fool with.

  • I'd like my Bookmarks to view on the left side of page (as they used to) and I can't find how to do that. Is this possible and why have they moved?

    Bookmarks are now on the right side of my browser window and I'd like to put them back on the left side. Please help.

    They moved after I installed Marginize. Removing Marginize moved it back.
    You have Marginize, so this is likely it.

  • Icons in the addon bar have moved from the right hand corner to the left

    Hi everybody,
    I've recently updated to the most current Firefox 4b10. I'm currently using the addon bar on the bottom that holds several addon-related icons (like firebug etc.). Those do still work, but for some reason they have moved from the right-hand corner of the addon-bar (where they have always been) to the left side for no apparent reason.
    I know it's kind of a little issue, but it is really disturbing since I keep looking in the wrong corner after having the icons there for so many years. Is there any way I can revert that?
    Thanks!
    mrmister

    Please report this problem to Firebug team,
