Flash is working with compressor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't know how this happened or maybe I'm just lucky or behind in the Macromedia/Apple updates. Anywho I can access the flash settings through compressor now. If anyone knows how this suddenly happened would you pass along the knowledge while I. "Dance to the music"......

I can export as .flv from QT and from FCP through the QT Compression option, but not with Compressor.

Flash player work with Safari, but not with Internet Explorer

My flash player had a problem so I uninstalled it. I had a problem downloading the player with Internet Explorer, so I successfully download it with Safari. The player works fine with Safari, but I cannot get it to work with Internet Explorer 8.
I used to have the Flash Player 10 Active X (10.1.85.3), which I had uninstalled.
I now have the Flash Player 10 Plugin (10.1.85/3)
The problem I had downloading the player with IE was that the "allow Active X" information bar never appeared and I was unable to see any download at all.

Hi, I am new to the digital age and over 55 years old. My husband bought me a Canon Rebel EOS T3 1100 D in July. (I fought the "technological" upgrade until my old Canon film camera quit on me.) I've been taking pictures since 1966, so I'm not new to photographing, just to our technological advances.

I've just received my 430EX II that I purchased for use with my Rebel T2i. The main reason I purchased the Canon product was....in 60 years of using Canon products I've never had a failure or a bad experience. I've been using the 430EX ll for a few days and I'm quite happy with the results. Far, far better than the built in flash. It's on sale now with free Fed X shipping. That's hard to beat.

So I closed all programs including Firefox
Opened Internet Explorer and went to site

Not works means you get a blank screen as the webpage; works is when you have to allow Flash Player to run "outside of protected" mode several times to get the website to come up.

E71 camera flash not working with auto focus

I have using E71 from last 2 months . As of now i came to know its auto focus option by pressing '2' button. Before flash was working fine with auto focus option but from last 2 days flash light is not working with auto focus option and pictures clicked comes to be very dark. Can anyone suggest how to sort out this problem.

Flash not working with Internet Explorer 11

I have upgraded three computers to IE 11 and cannot get Flash to work on any. It did work on one machine running WIndows 7, 32 bit until Flash updated and then it acted like the other two. Two of the machines are WIndows 7 64 bit and are actively used. It never played videos on either. Videos tell me I need the Flash player. I follow the link and install it. The page verifies the install. I still cannot see embeded Flash videos like on Yahoo News.
When I try to check in Manage Add Ons, Flash nor any other Adobe product shows up. Whe I do a verify with your tool it says it is working. The only solution I have found so far is to return to IE 10.

IPhone 4s Flash Does Work With OtterBox Cases

I found that the flash on the 4s would not work with many different cases. I can confirm that the flash does work OtterBox cases.

On the right hand side there will be a button that says Get Adobe Flash Player. Click on that and you will be taken to a page that will allow you to download the most up to date version of flash supported by your system. Then simply follow the directions on that page to install.

Flash not working with Firefox

I have a site built using Dreamweaver and FD24 extensions for the Flash elements.

Until yesterday everything was fine. Still ok with IE ver 8.0.6001 and both Vista and XP operating systems
Flash ver 10.0.45.2 installed
However my client cannot see any of the flash images in the header and on the leisure page gallery (just a white box). The front side panel works ok on the home page
He is using Firefox. again ok yesterday. He has tried to reinstall the latest version of flash and received installation successful message.
Using the same PC's he can see if switches to IE
Would appreciate any help in getting this sorted nad what advice I can give him. It is essential that the site works with Firefox so need to resolve.

Hi ken, If I understand your post, you are wanting help for the Firefox user. And he has installed Flash Player using the FF
browser.
The first thing would be to (using FF), go to plug-ins and find the SWF plug-in, made sure it is vs 10.0.45.2 and is enabled.
And be sure there is only one listing of the SWF. If there is another listing, it needs removed/deleted.
Also, he can go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Find the Flash folder and post back all files listed there.
If he has installed Flash Player in IE, those files will be there also and the version numbers will be evident. However,
the files for FF will not be. The FF files are NPSWF32.dll and NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe. Right click on each and then click on
Properties to find the version numbers, which I need.
This is the best way to determine if the Flash Player files that are installed are correct and the FF plug-in is correct.
The IE equivalent to the FF plug-in is in the IE manage add ons and is listed as Shockwave Flash Object..ActiveX Control..
Flash10e.ocx and must be enabled also.

All of a sudden, Flash is not working with IE 10 on a Windows 8, 64 bit computer. I can only hear the sound . . . no video. It works with Firefox and Chrome. What gives???

The best way you can go in my opinion is developing a java application that connects and controls the camera, then you can use merapi to call java functions

What are some best practices to work with Compressor 3 droplets and new Compressor 4?

I have purchased Final Cut Pro X / Motion 5 and Compressor 4 from the App Store. My installation of Final Cut Studio 6.0.6 / Motion 3.0.2 / Compressor 3.0.5 has been moved to a new folder "Final Cut Studio". I have started the old version of Motion first as advised in this document.
I just tried to use my old Compressor 3 droplets and i am able to convert as before.
I am wondering what I should do now and what the best practices are
Use the old droplets and stick with Compressor 3?
Import the droplets to a new location to be able to use them in Compressor 4?
Recreate new droplets with similar settings within Compressor 4?
What are the changes I can expect from using Compressor 4?

I've found that it helps to meet with each person in your new org that you'll be supporting. Start with the Eloqua Admin(s) and ask for an overview of standard reports, naming conventions, folder structure, processes, etc. Make sure to do the same with sales operations, too. If you're moving into an admin role ask for the data dictionary so you can study it to understand how the data maps from front end CMS to MAP to CRM.
The next phase would be to meet with field marketing and campaign managers. Ask them about current projects, future projects and how you'll support their success with Eloqua.
And last but certainly not least - process documentation! Ask for all of those things and you'll be rocking and rolling in no time.

and innacurate. We have no choice for
creative content solutions? I use at least 2 other animation
programs for starters. There's also
Corel and Painter and well, I could go on when it comes to
graphics editors.
There's also Camtasia as oppsed to Contribute.
True Adobe now dominates the market, but often times the word
"monopoly" comes with negative
connotations - Photoshop, AFter Effects, Flash and other
products have become so universaly standard
mostly because they deserve to be based on their features,
stability and because we chose to use
them over other products.
But I also agree with you, Adobe is now the one-stop-shopping
for almost anything a creative person
would need. I just wouldn't say there are no other choices. I
combine other animation software
almost everyday for things that flash falls short on.

I would like to start a discussion on how one of the "leading" software companies in the WORLD cannot provide a better way for their software (which I assume they want everyone to use) to be used in conjunction with windows 8.1. ADOBE no longer provides support for those who don't pay to be here, they don't have a reasonably intelligent way to fix problems for non computer minded people, they want you to go through and change this setting or that (ya, I've seen the page and done the crap they tell you to do to fix the flash player so it works and... it works... for a little while then you wind up with a fkn green screen after another day or two... this is complete BS you shouldn't have to unfk things so they work every few days... you shouldn't have to deal with crap like this... I AM GOING TO USE VLC PLAYER OR SOMETHING ELSE TO TAKE CARE OF MY VIDEO PLAYER NEEDS IN MY DIFFERENT BROWSERS FROM NOW ON...
