Flash Lagging on multiple browsers and multiple computers

I'm experencing sever lagging in playing flash games and viewing flash videos.
Current Flash Player is 11.7.700.169
Operating Systerm is Windows 7
Browsers used are Firefox, IE and Chrome.
All the above experenced on my desktop, my laptop, my wife's desktop and my wife's desktop.
I've used all three browsers on all computers. All computers are running Windows 7 and all are up to date.
I'll play the same few Facebook games and they all lag no matter which computer I'm using or what browser I'm using. Also experencing same lagging conditions when watching Youtube videos and streaming videos that use Flash Player from other websites. Seems like anything using Flash will give me the same results. I never had this lagging issue during Flash Player 10.
I've read plenty of other Forum post and have never seen a definitive answer. Seems like everyone wants to blame something other than Flash.
I've deleted and reloaded browsers, cleared cache, deleted and reloaded Flash. I even went so far reformatting and reloading a third desktop and still experence the same issue with Flash 11.
Just wanted to place my experence on the list of everyone else experiencing these issues.
Also hoping someone eventually finds a definitive fix for this issue.
thanks

This has been an ongoing problem for me as well. I have a tremendous amount of technical experience with computers. The problem is definitely the Flash Player. I have just finished reinstalling windows and after installing the latest version of Firefox and updating to the latest flash player, this problem occurs instantly. Sometimes I will watch a flash movie in a new tab and everything seems to be fine, but then when I am done watching the movie, I will close the tab and my browser instantly becomes completely frozen and I am unable to switch to other tabs or do anything at all in the browser. The only fix that seems to work for me is... I launch task manager and notice that the Flash Player is still running and appears listed on my "Processes" list twice. When I choose to "End Process" on one of the flash players, both flash players then close at the same time and vanish from the processes list and my browser instantly goes back to working correctly.
Another example is when I am currently watching a movie and I hit pause and then do something else on my computer, like check my mail, or play a game, or anything at all - I notice that my computer performs extremely laggy. Again, I choose to end process on the flash player, both instances of flash player then vanish from the Processes list and suddenly my computer is functioning correctly again and the lag disappears.
I know for a fact that Adobe is fully aware of the problem and they basically do not know how to fix it. My guess is that they have incorporated some kind of new functionality to their more recent versions of flash player that makes the flash player perform better, but it also causes lag and lock-up problems. They do not want to remove their new functionality, so instead - they allow users to suffer. I don't really care what the percentage of users are that are suffering from this problem. What I do know is  - that nobody should be forced to suffer.
I am a Web Devloper and Firefox user and I am not about to use a different browser. I especially will not use Internet Explorer since using Internet Explorer is like holding up a sign that says "I want a virus". Every large devlopement company I have ever worked for in NYC will not even allow anybody in their office to use Internet Explorer ever because it is considered to be a high security risk. The lock-up and lag problems that are caused by flash player are very well know at these companies. It is very common for an employee to experience computer problems and almost every single time they have a problem - the cause of the problem is the flash player. Everytime an employee has a problem where their computer is acting laggy or locks up, the first thing they are "trained" to do is check to see if their flash player is running in their processes list and in almost every problematic situation - the flash player is the cause of the problem.
Considering that Adobe makes every know #1 Design & Creation Web Design & Editing program and basically monopolizes the market when it comes to these programs, I think that they would be the first company to understand that Firefox is the leading web browser with developers, especially because of all of the web developer addons that Firefox offers. So I really don't understand why Adobe continues to treat Internet Explorer like it should be everybody's default browser. Flash Player should always be designed to work best in Firefox first and it currently does not function correctly in Firefox at all. It is a huge fail. It is an even bigger fail that they have had 2 years to fix this and they have not.
So I continue to use flash player and Firefox despite the problems, I just have to remember to "end process" on the flash player all the time, which really sucks. Flash player is the only thing that causes problems for me on my computer and has been the only problem for almost 2 years now. You would think that Adobe would have fixed this by now. I have searched and found hundreds of users with the same exact problem, and every single solitary time the same incompetent answers are given from Adobe.
I have created a shortcut on my task bar to launch my task manager easier. I created this shortcut for one reason only - to end process on my flash player when it causes serious lock up problems. I suggest that other users do the same. Maybe in 5 years Adobe might finally decided to attempt to fix the very well known problem that they are fully aware of instead of ignoring it completely as they have been. If they have not been ignoring the problem, then they would be honest and tell their flash player users that they are fully aware of the problem and that they are  working hard to find a solution and fix the problem, but they have not stated this because they do not want to admit that they have screwed up. Again, I can only assume that they have tried to fix the problem but they don't know how to.
I am a proud user of Adobe products, but I am completely at awe when it comes to how huge a fail the flash player problem has become. I suggest that Adobe work closely with Firefox and other browser companies to find a solution to this problem and fix it. Nobody should be forced to fix the problem for themselves and reinstall a 2 year old version of flash player to fix the problem. If users were to do this, they would then be faced with constant messages telling them that they do not have the latest version of flash player.

  • Flash Crashes across all browsers and recent fatal errors

This problem has basicly been going on for years and my operating system has been resintalled a couple of times before but basicly the problem is that adobe flash player (and Microsoft Silverlight) would crash a browser (IE, Chrome, and Firefox) often. I have tried the fixes ive read about but they didnt seem to work so I just decided to put up with it until I began getting fatal errors. I had my hardware checked out and there are no problems with and all my drivers are up to date.
    Flash: 11.5.502.135
    Windows 7 (64-bit)
HD 5570 and HD 6870 (upgraded from one to the other but problem still occurs)
Like I said I usually try to put up with flash (and silverlight) crashing my browser but now they crash the browse so badly it forces a bugcheck (or blue screen of death). I have tried to reload my operating system, then updated my drivers, and then in clean boot mode I still get pretty nasty crashes. I think the problem is within one of my drivers but I cant pinpoint which driver is the culprit.

Subject: Flash Player Flash Plug-in Crashes across all browsers despite
    re-install
I support a bunch of Mac users and one of them (10.5.7 MBP) ran into this same
problem last week with both Safari and Firefox crashing with the flash player
plugin. If I removed the Flash Player plugin and the .xpt file there was no
crashing but no flash either. I used a combination of different suggestions and
here's what finally worked (so far anyway):
Show package contents for Firefox/Contents/MacOS/components and Get Info
changing perms for read/write for everyone.
Re-installed shockwave plugin using the customized full install (this made no
sense to me since I had made no change to shockwave but as I was testing the
browsers I was prompted to install it, so I did)
    Repaired permissions
The version of the Flash Player plugin that ended up installed on this Mac is
10.0.12.36. I started off installing the newer and recommended 10.0.22.87
version but it didn't fix anything. I inadvertently went backwards as I moved
plugins in and out of the Library. I didn't want to change anything once it was
working so I left it at the older version. I hope this helps someone else.

  • Can i use this download and install on multiple computers?

Can i use this download and install on multiple computers?

I assume you're talking about the Lion installer?  If so, yes, you're allowed to use it on any machines authorized with your Apple ID (which I believe means a maximum of five machines).  This is, of course, meant for family use...  I'm not sure about business use, but I'd suspect you need one copy per machine at a business.  If you're in that situation, you may want to wait for the $69 Lion flash drive Apple will be releasing next month sometime, as that won't be tied to an Apple ID.  But check with Apple to be sure on that.

  • How to keep all text and formats the same on multiple computers?

I'm creating a file in InDesign CS6 on my Windows computer. I keep everything on my flash drive. When I go to school, I bring my flash drive with me and open it up on the Mac computer, but then there are are compatibility issues. There seems to be missing fonts and formats but the school uses the same version of InDesign I do. Now I was told a lot of things of how to keep the fonts and formats the same (embed the links, package the files, outline the text, save as IDML). However, it is not clear to me what each of those options do, so I don't know when or why to use them. So I just want to make sure that when I bring in my file in next Monday, I won't have any missing fonts or formats. What would you suggest is the proper things to do to keep everything the same on multiple computers? And could you please explain why?

If you want cross-paltform comaptibility limit the fonts to OpenType or Windows TrueType formats, both of which work on both Mac and PC. To avoid missing font warnings the fonts must either be installed on each computer, or they must be in a folder named Document Fonts in the same location as the .indd file they are to work with. Packaging the file will build taht folder for you.
the rest of the stuff in your list won't help you. .idml would allow you to open on an older version, but does nothing for your situation. Embedding the links will keep you from having missing links, but so will packaging, and embedded links will make the file much larger and harder to work with.
For goodness sake, don't even think about outlining the text. It stops being text when you do that and you can no longer edit it.
And finally. do yourself a big favor and don't attempt to actually work on your file directly from the flash drive. Copy the whole package folder to the hard drive, work on it, then copy back. You don't want to know how many files are fatally damaged by write errors on flash drives.

  • How to sync multiple flash players on multiple networked computers

I want to play, stop or start simultaneously the same flash
movie (presentation) installed on multiple computers connected to a
LAN. Do you have any idea how to do this?

It has to do with networking. Go to your computer
administrator and tell them what you want, they will link all the
computers to one and you can have full control. Alternativly just
put it up via a projector!

  • Using Messages with Multiple Users and Multiple Computers

I have two users who share two different computers, switching between them during the day.
I'd like to use messages on them for us to send text messages in the office, however, it asks them on logging in (most, but not everytime) to re-enter their apple id password.  It seems that using icloud for messages among multiple computers like this isn't good.  its like it wants each computers to be linked with a particular user, and doesn't like it that the users are moving around from computer to computer
    Options to avoid this nuisance?
    1.  Would bonjour messaging work, and then just remove the icloud account from messages?
    2.  How about setting up the message server on my ML Server, would that avoid this problem?

I'd say probably make sure that in the advanced tab under edit>preferences you should make sure they both point to the same file.
My turn now, how to i post a thread, there's no button.

  • Music and Video on Nas in folders but how do i set up itunes on multiple computers to see and use these files and create libraries?

Music and Video on Nas in folders but how do i set up itunes on multiple computers to see and use these files and create libraries?
So i have had a itunes set up on my old PC, bought a NAS and copied the folders over to the NAS, i did this incorrectly and so then even when i told the old PC to use that folder it saw all the songs but wasnt able to play the songs as it was looking in the incorrect place.
So now i want my Mac as well as my PC and others to all use the music, videos etc on the NAS they are in itunes friendly folders (as they were compiled this way by the itunes on the old PC.
When i tell the mac to use the itunes library.itl file it sees the song list (about 100gb) but cant see any songs, so i have removed this file to another location for now with the hope to set up a new file and then get it to see the songs on the folder from the NAS.
Can someone tell me how to do this for all the Mac's and PC's on my network as i really want one master library that all use and add too.
Thanks for your help in advance.

I have the same question but I am using two pc's

  • Can I put an aperture library on a network drive and edit from multiple computers?

I have an Imac desktop and a macbook pro.  I want to be able to edit pictures from multiple computers.  If I simply put the aperture library on a network server drive in my home, can I edit the same aperture library from both the Imac and the macbook? Rather than always having to sit in my office making changes to files I would love to also be able to do this with my laptop sitting ont the couch or in the kitchen.  Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Get yourself a small portable external drive for your Aperture library.
An Aperture library needs to be on directly connected drive formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled). network access is not supported and can lead to data loss and library corruption.

Hi, I activated my CS6 in 2012 under my student licence and still using it. I've heard that you can't run CS6 on multiple computers. How do I transfer it from one computer to another as I am switching computers?

    Hi,
first, I'm not Adobe's "slave" as you might to accuse me. Most of the posters here are users like me.
I only can repeat that what I found in Adobe's help sites, as I wrote above. You are free to figure out the "real" truth and - the best would be - you may contact Adobe directly, here are - I'm sure you know them -  the links I would use: http://helpx.adobe.com/support.html  and http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html.

  • I have multiple computers and iPhones and now iTunes will not allow my wife to load applications or use her own iTunes playlists.  How can I setup each device for each user correctly?

We have multiple computers and iPhone devices which I have passed on to other family members, such as my wife.  Now she is not able to load apps to her devices, eventhough it appear she is logged into her own iTunes account.  How can I setup iTunes correctly on each device?  Currently, there is one PC and one Mac laptop and we each have iPhones, with one other family member not able to use his 'passed-down' device for iTunes, also.

    Hello dal1820
Check out the article below on how to use multiple devices with one computer. The main idea that I want to point out is to have different users for each person as it is the easy way to make sure that no issue happen when syncing.

  • What is the best way to set up devices and multiple computers for a family

I am trying to setup multiple devices and computers with home sharing.  I currently have 1 apple I'd for my wife and one for me.   I want to set up home sharing for us and my two kids.  We have two small laptops that stay at home and one that goes back and forth to work.
?1. Do i need to give up my apple I'd and share my wife's or vise versa or do I just enter it into my device iPhone or iPad when I want to load something from another library onto my device and the change I'd back.  Will the stuff still be there then when I switch back to my apple Id.     Can I switch like that.
    2. Should my kids each have their own apple I'd or just use the same one for multiple computers and devices.
    3. Does a network system outside of wifi need to be setup for the computers another wards have the computers linked on a network. Or can they just be in the same place at the same time with wifi.  Generic linksys Internet connection.

Unless you have 3rd-party apps allowing Windoze to read and write Mac OS Extended, or your Mac to read & write NTFS, your options are ExFat or Fat.   See #9 in Using Disk Utility.

  • How to use multiple computers (mac) and an ipod ???

Ok, i am very very new to mac's and ipods, i just got one yesterday. Me and my girl both have one and use it on 2 different macs. She had purchased some tv shows, and i would like to put them on my ipod as well. they are purchased so we do own them correct??? So i finally figured out how to add them to my ipod from her mac, by switching to manual mode. But than once i hook my ipod up to my mac, it automatically delets them. Because i am guessing i am in automatic mode. Can someone help me to prevent this. I do not want to change my mac out of auto mode, because it is a pain in the rear to manually add everything to the ipod. Please help???
Also since i had changed my ipod out of automatic mode once and placed it into manual mode once, and back again to auto i always have to eject my ipod. How do i set it up like it was out of the box, in auto mode and that i do not have to eject it from itunes.
Thanks so much, i know that i am a nube at all of this...

You can't do this. If you want to update your iPod from multiple machines, you NEED to be in manual mode on both computers. There's no way around this.
Here's an article from Apple which explains how to do it.
    Using ipod with Multiple Computers
Also since i had changed my ipod out of automatic mode once and placed it into manual mode once, and back again to auto i always have to eject my ipod. How do i set it up like it was out of the box, in auto mode and that i do not have to eject it from itunes.
When you switched to manual mode, it automatically enables Disk Mode on your iPod.
If you don't want to keep ejecting the iPod, then you need to disable Disk Mode. You can do this in iTunes preferences.
Then again, one you go back to manual mode... which you need to do to use you r iPod with more than one computer... it's going to enable disk mode again anyway.

  • Using one library for multiple computers and accounts (not store accounts)

Okay, we currently have four macs in the house. One was recently bought: i7 iMac (late 2009), another is dying: (mid 2005 iMac), another is going somewhere else: (late 2006 iMac) and another is a laptop: C2D MBP (late 2008). We might add another computer into the mix some time later.
Anyway, what I want to do is have one iTunes library which all of the computers can access (even guest's/friend's computers). We have a Time Capsule, and as I have heard one can make the TC the HDD for the iTunes library, I thought it best for it to be there.
The only thing is, how can each computer (and the possible multiple accounts) each access the same library, without duplicating and messing anything up? Is that possible? If it is too hard for multiple computers to do this, I would still want the (late 2009) iMac to be able to use the same library for the two accounts on it.
    Thanks.

Make sure everything you want to share is on the centralized drive (music, video, and books, but if any of you have mobile devices, keep the apps on your local drive). Mount the drive on your computer. (Remember, from now on you must do this before starting iTunes.) If iTunes isn't running, start it now.
At the moment iTunes thinks the library is on the local computer and has all the music on it so that has to be changed. Click on Music in the left window pane, select all, and delete. This deletes all the music from the library and, if you choose, from the computer too. (Until you are sure this set-up is to your liking, don't delete the music from the drive.) Now go to Preferences and select the Advanced tab. Set iTunes to look at the music folder on your shared drive. And finally, select File>Add to Library to repopulate your iTunes library. This could take a while if you have a large music collection.
Since you changed the music location, anything that is added to one person's library will be saved onto the shared drive so it isn't too much of a hassle to manually add music. You'll have to rebuild playlists which is a minor hassle but it’s a one time deal.

I have catalog on an external drive but the tags are on the computer. Is there any way that tags can be placed on the external drive so that other computers can access and update?

In case its just the tags that you want to have in one catalog that is easy. From multiple computers save the tags to the xml file.Copy the xml file to the external drive where the catalog resides. From there you can import the tags into the catalog.
Command for exporting tags ->Save tags to file in the tags panel of the application
    Command for importing tags->From file
