Flash Lite Installation on Nokia S40
I have a Nokia6233 Mobile. It’s a Nokia S40 mobile. Now
flash lite 1.1 is preinstall. I wish to install FlashLite version
2.0, 2.1, 3.0. Can you give a FlashLite new version or other for
nokia6233? I hope you can give a good solution for that. Thanks for
advance.
Hi finox006,
Unfortunately you cannot install a new Flash Lite player on
Series 40 mobiles. At this time you can only install the developer
players on S60 and some S60 phones can upgrade with new firmware.

Flash lite player for Nokia-5610 xpressmusic
Anybody let me know how to install flash lite player on nokia 5610 phone.....
i know that the phone supports flash lite player but i m not able to find out how to download it on to my mobile and the website from where i can download the application.....There's no user-installable Flash Lite player for S40 based phones.
It is either already built-in (part of the firmware), or it isn't. If it isn't, you can't add/install it.
This page claims it already has Flash Lite v2.1:

Flash lite installation issues
Hi,
I have Nokia 6630. I downloaded flash lite
2.1(flashlite2_1_symbian_s60V2_FP3.sis) from adobe and when I tried
to install the .sis file, I got the following error message "Model
of phone not supported. Installation cancelled". But in the
applications folder I see a program called Flash Player, whose
status is 'installed'. Moreover, I couldn't see any flash icon in
the menu.. So I am confused..what should I do, to install flash
lite 2.1 succesfully and view swf files on my phone(NOKIA 6630)?
Thanks & Regards,
Sridhar BHi;

Why the hell do you ask for and answer from ADOBE on a NOKIA forum ? .. something is wrong here! If you want an answer on a Adobe Question..then go to an adobe-forum..
Please..think before you post! And use a spell-check in your browser!

thanks to all...I'm a beginner to flash lite.
someone can help with a link where could I download a player
for my Nokia 6680?
I've already tried with FlashLite 2.1 for Symbian but said me
that my device it's not supported...any help?
thanksI have successfully installed this on a Nokia 6682 as well
But... is there a way to set it up so that SWF files are
recognized in the web browser? I think it's silly that one has to
somehow save Flash files into the "Others" folder on the memory
card, then run the flash player, then load the SWF file... why
isn't it more transparent... isn't most Flash content loaded from
web browsers?
On the Nokia 5300 (funny enough a model number smaller than
"6682", go figure) the Flash player opens up fine when linking a
Flash file in the web browser. I believe in this case the Flash
player was pre-installed.
Side note about the 5300... I was just looking at the Adobe
devices page a week ago and it was there. Now it's gone !!! go
figure.... really straaaange. -
Oracle 9i Lite installation on Nokia 9210 mobile (EPOC) phone
Will Oracle 9i Lite install on a GSM Nokia 9210 mobile phone (www.nokia.com/phones/9210)
running the EPOC OS. Look forward to any comments.Oracle9i Lite 5.0 is certified for EPOC V5. Nokia 9210 is based on EPOC V6/Quarz which is not supported. We have a working port in alpha quality which we might be able to give you. However we would need a strong business case. Send your business case and justification to [email protected]

Flash Lite 2.1 and Nokia N95
I was waiting for a new version of Flash Lite for my Nokia
N95 because it can't play videos from ordinary web sites. I was
shocked trying to install new Flash Lite 2.1. I got an error:
"Unable to install. Component is built in." Does it mean I can't
never update Flash player in my phone?Hi degin,
Ah, I understand now. You wish to view web content in your
N95 mobile browser?
Flash Lite 2.x and mobiles in gerneral support a different
format of video, .3gp or .3gp2. You will not be able to view Flash
.flv or WMP videos on your N95.
I have heard that You tube is going to support .3gp video at
some point, and also Flash Lite may support .flv at some point too,
so all is not lost, we just have to wait.

Adobe flash lite on nokia asha 302
how can i download and install adobe flash lite on my nokia asha 302 ? please help me , i want to download and stream videos but some of them needs a flash lite .
Mhm. With a Nokia Series 40 phone like yours, Adobe Flash Lite is either integrated within the firmware or not available! You cannot add Flash yourself, as on other platforms. Which file type (file-name extension) or which Internet service do you want to use? Perhaps, we find a workaround together.

Adobe Flash Lite 3 - Nokia asha 200
what is the use of adobe flash lite 3 in nokia asha 200?
Moderator's Note: The subject was amended as the post was moved to the appropriate board.HellKing, could you double-check with FlashTester.org, please? You have to put that URL into an SMS, save that as draft, and then click on it (this open the native Internet browser). Then, you can check the version.

It's possible to open an Flash Lite movie locally from the browser
Hi there,
I'm trying to open an swf movie (Flash Lite) in the Nokia
s603rd Browser like this "file:///e:\documents\movie.swf" and it
gives a msg error "Web memory full. Close some applications and try
again".
I open an html file in the same way and works fine -
"file:///e:\documents\page.html".
If I request the swf file from an HTTP server it works fine.
Can anyone explain wy localy the Web browser cannot open a
local swf file?
FernandoI would think you can bring the .mov into the timeline and make your split and add your pictures. You will have to adjust the audio obviously.
Good luck. -
Flash Lite 1.1 Update Content
Hi all,
i'm very2 new for flash lite. I want to create a flash lite
application for nokia 7610 as a completion of my study at my Univ.
But i have no idea how to start it. Is it possible a flash lite
application can be update. For example a news application. Admin
put new news in a website and if a user open the flash application
the latest text or news can be displayed in mobile phone. If the
application do so it the usage of GPRS more cheaper and faster
rather than browsing a WAP site. I really need help and some
tutorial or example. Please..Hi
I have produced a couple of apps that offer live updates from
website content.
The two main constraints, from a flash perspective, you will
find when creating an application such as this are:
1. memory on device for storing the data that you load.
2. Processing power and time to reference the data and
display it.
While XML is fine for web based applications, you might find
the extra memory and processing it requires within FlashLite
applications may be to much. In this case you can use the simpler
LoadVars and name value pairs.
As to whether FlashLite is faster than a standard WAP page?
FlashLite is still going to use the same connection so it will come
down to how well optimised the content is that you are loading.

Adobe flash lite 3 for nokia n95, when ??? release date?? ,
in teory, first half 2007 but now is near september 2007 and this
product until is not for the sell, not exist ,why??......mmmm whatever...
We use more flash on mobiles than anywhere else, but its
released in america first for low-technological phones like nokia.
Seems that flash on mobile in other countries besides Japan is only
for techies. but for Japan, its a big business. Users just click on
the link, and bam! you have flash lite 1.1. This is on 80% of the
mobile phones here. no need to download the FL -
The Company that I am working for wants to distribute flash
content, but we are having issues with regarding to flash lite
support with nokia phones (especially nokia phones with S60 3rd
edition) that do support flash lite but dont come pre-installed
with the flash player. Is there a way we can distribute this
without the consumer paying for the flash lite player?no there is no other way unless someone comes out with a
wrapper for the swf files which makes it a sis application. -

Flash Lite 2.1 install on Nokia E50
Just did a Flash Lite 2.1 install on Nokia E50 after I
downloaded flashlite2_1_symbian_s60V3 and it installed apparently
fine with Nokia installer. However any .swf with test content
published to Device Central gets a corrupted file message after I
try run the .swf on the E50. The docs say the E50 should be
supported by this Flashlite version above.
Any ideas?
thanks
ColmAlessandro,
Yes, I see now another Flash Lite 2.1 player installed not
under media but under menu. Starting it allows me to browse my
Flash Lite 2.1 files and they display fine.
Next up, I must try to get Flash Lite 3, but developer
applications for Flash Lite 3
have closed afaik. Does anybody know where/when/if/how a
Symbian edition Flash Lite 3 player can be got to test on a Flash
Lite 2.1 player phone?
thanks again!
Colm
