Flash Lite on Mobile Phone

I have done a flash presentation and published it in flash player 7.
After I have uploaded the file, I test it on my mobile phone, Nokia E61i which have Flash Lite built in.
The funny thing is I can't view the flash presentation that I have done with Flash Player 7 but I am able to view Flash Player 10 content in other website.
Does any one have any idea -
What should I do in order to ensure my flash presentation can be viewed in any mobile phone (as long as it has the flash lite)?

There are already a bunch of nokia mobile applications doing
that, so surely that is possible..

If you find anything out please share.  I have flash projects (SWF) files created in Captivate 5 that play fine in Flash and Dreamweaver, but freeze up on the web in safari, firefox, opera and chrome.  Even files that used to play just fine.  This upgrade has been a nightmare - I have spent hours troubleshooting to no avail.  It does not seem to be a problem for windows users - only macs.

  • Flash lite 3 Mobile Video

I just came back from the DoCoMo testing center and tested
flash lite 3. It doesnt work.
I tested it on the "Adobe Device Central CS3" and i can see
the video and hear the sound, but when i tested it on the new
phones, it doesnt appear. It streams from the internet (no
downloading app) but it doesnt show.
Wished that "someone" could get this damn emulator right so i
dont have to waste company money going to the testing center to
find out the reality of the emulators capabilities. Flash Lite 3
enabled phones will be released soon in Japan and there are no
companies that are that prepared for this. So the point of flash
    lite 3 is......what!?

    Ciao,
    can we get in touch?

No way around, if there was a way around, the Adobe wouldn't stop supporting flash on mobile phones
    The silence will fall

For more information about which phones support Flash Lite
and implementations such as browser, wall paper, screensaver take a
look at the following page and read both the Guidelines and Getting

Guys. in specs and white papers of sony walkman w700i says
that this phone supports macromedia in multimedia(exact words, not
says flash lite), "in the file developers guide lines.pdf" is not
mention w700, but why?, obviously the firmware is not meant to use
flash lite, but flash? where i can put this files?.
Other question, It is possible to flash the phone with a
firmware of a another walkmann phone and then reinstall camera
drivers of w700? (i think is the only hardware difference between
thes phone and the others of the walkman series).
Finally if all the responses are negatives. it is possible
for you or someone create a firmware for w700i that supports
flashlite in menus or like applications?.
thanks. i hope there is a chance for the owners of this
    phone.

    Hi Hugh
Rather than attempting to find those files, I suggest you lock the Shared Object folder. This precludes any Flash cookie info from being written to your HD.
To do so, go to the Finder and navigate to the Macromedia folder - Your User Account>Library>Preferences folder. Continue drilling down to the Shared Objects folder. Now, simply move to the trash the contents of the Shared Objects folder. Once the folder is empty, click on the Shared Objects folder, Command/I to open its Info panel and click on the Locked option, then close the panel.
From here on out, no information will be written to that file. I did this awhile ago and have not had any adverse effect from locking the folder.

    Ciao
1 - Flash Video will be supported in Flash Lite 3, due mid
year and probably on phones by the end of the year
2 - Available to develoeprs: it means that you can download a
FL player for that phone from Adobe
Available to Consumer: it means that the phone is FL enabled,
the player is already integrated on the phone OS
3 - the 6630 supports FL player, which means that you can
install the FL player provided by Adobe. So it's not really your
target device do commercial FL content. Target devices are the one
that are FL enabled. You cannot set the FL content as screensaver
in the 6630. Nokia S40 have that feature. But you cna for sure
    develop screensavers and wallpapers.

  • Flash Lite 2.1 for Windows Mobile 5.0 Preview

    Hello,
I'm happy to announce the preview release of Flash Lite 2.1
for Windows Mobile 5.0, planned for release later this year. This
allows mobile developers to create and test Flash Lite applications
for both Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone and Windows Mobile 5.0
    Pocket PC configurations.
    For more information, visit the
    Adobe
Flash Lite 2.1 for Windows Mobile 5.0 Preview site on Adobe
    Labs.

To better help focus answers and information, please post all
questions about Flash Lite 2.1 for Windows Mobile 5.0 devices in
    the new
    Flash
    Lite: Windows Mobile discussion forums.
This forum is meant for questions around the Flash Player 6/7
for Pocket PC and other consumer electronic devices using Flash

  • Flash Lite Mobile Deployment

    Hi
New to authoring in Flash CS3 Pro and Flash Lite, I would
appreciate information about deploying a Flash Lite 2x SWF from my
web site to an end user's cell phone. This would assume that the
cell phone would have a Flash Lite 2.1 player installed, therefore
    able to view Flash.
I've heard of WAP but am not knowledgeable about its use,
other than to know that some of the free WAP server side programs
like Wap2Go require the ability to use PHP on the web site. My site
uses a Windows server (IIS, version 5) and the ISP does not allow
PHP, instead requiring scripting in ASP. I'm not familiar with ASP,
so, the best arrangement for deploying from my site would be to not
    need WAP.
Can most Flash Lite enabled cell phones simply download a SWF
file from a site without need for WAP? Or will deplying Flash to
cell phones depend on getting WAP to work on my site. (I think that
Brew will be too costly an option for me since expenses begin at
$400 and these files are planned as give-away's.)
Any ideas, information will be appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    saratogacoach

I know that with Flash Lite 1 the softkeys don´t work
when the handset tries to access the internet and so it can´t
    get access.
Has this been changed in any Version?
I think flash lite 1.0 and 1.1 support this feature. you can
check it with adobe cs3 device central.
When you select flash lite 1.0 and 1.1 and wallpaper option.
you will get the list of handset .
In other case like flash lite 2.0 2.1 and 3.0 when you select
wallpaper all device list will be disable.

  • Flash on windows mobile 6 and camera connection

Hy, student from netherlands and we need to use flash lite
    for mobiles!

Now I have pocket pc with windows mobile 6 pro, but when I
install flash player 2.1 in the browser we get popup do download
swf file and not playing in the browser? So it's not working?
At the last post they say it should work, but How?
After that can I make connection with camera on phone with
    flash player mobile?
I was working with rmtp with normal browser, but how it works
    with mobile browser?

"Does anybody have an idea how we can get Flash to get more memory from the system, please?"
We've encountered this problem a year ago.
    There are 2 solutions :
    - compress MP3/FLV at the maximum (in file size) to reduce memory consumption and set a timer of 60 seconds before loading another MP3/FLV to let the garbage collector of Flash Player to free memory.
    - use an external MP3 Player (Windows Media or TCPMP), if you configure the player to launch automatically when double clicking on .mp3 files, you just have to call fscommand("launch", "test.mp3");
The problem is then to hide the MP3 Player.
Using Janus-Flash, you can "Set Top Most" Flash Player so the MP3 Player is hidden.
Using this method we managed to play 15 MB MP3, and switch almost instantly to another big MP3 file.
Check Janus-Flash Forum to find the solution. The exe to set top most is called "Janus Kiosk.exe".
    Best luck.
