Flash MC Too Slow

Hi;
I built a Flash site which you can see here:

It loads through a preloader so everything is loaded. However, there is one part where it plays with a delay at certain points that is not evidenced in the swf on my machine. Why? How troubleshoot?

Hi, I am not aware which part of the animation you are referring to but is it the part that it is shooting the picture?
If it is, I have experienced a little bit of lagging there but nothing too serious. You may want to check your animations settings as soon as the symbol(picture) turns into a static picture (upper section). Maybe there are not enough frames to encompass the whole 3D animation.

I tried the trial version of flash CS6 but my computer is too slow (less than 2 GB of RAM available) and I 'm not able to use it. i need it to make animated cartoons and I do not need to code in order to do it .. What do you recommend me, please? If I use an older version (which one? flash 8? is there a trial version on the site? ) it can work out ? i mean can i consider it valid for my works or is it a point against me for the market?

First of all, check if your machine meets the system requirements for Flash CS6. If yo do, then i will recommend to cleanup your machine. Delete the temp files(Run->%temp%) and empty the Recycle bin.

Firefox CONSTANTLY has a yellow bar on top of my screen nagging me to upgrade adobe flash but my processor is way too slow for that upgrade.

I am on an older computer that works just fine, but the processor is too slow for the flash upgrade, nor do I have the other system requirements. What can I do to get rid of this nagging bar? I do not mind upgrading to a lower version of flash, providing it is light on memory;but don't know how to or where to get it. I have seen some archives of older versions but they require knowledge of how to do zip files, or how to do the download as it isn't automatic. I currently have something called "shockwave flash 9.0.45.0". The names are another confusing thing. They talk about shockwave flash, adobe flash player, adobe flash; are they all the same thing?

cor-el, thanks for your input. The problem I keep having is that I can't get the system requirements for any of the flash versions except 11, the latest. I have looked on a number of sites as well as adobe. There is no point to download something that won't work with my system, and overloads my memory. My processor is a pentium 3, about 927 mhz. The service pack is 2.
Another problem I keep having is that for the older versions they keep telling me to "unzip" the file. I don't know what that means, or of course, how to do it.
Really need some help and understandable directions as am new to computers. This one works great, and I resent these companies putting me in the position of having to buy a new computer just so I can get their newest programs, which in reality are often not as good as the old ones. I cannot afford another computer.

Flash website I created is loading too slow and don't know how to put in preloader.

I have 4 swf files. The index.html page is a flash swf that I renamed to index.html in order for it to the be first page to come out.
I have googled how to add a preloader but it's all too confusing, and I'm not sure if I should add it to the first swf that I renamed index.html.
The website that I created for the company is loading way too slow.
I've deleted unused files.
I've compressed the images the best way I could.
I cannot change the images, because it's the whole purpose of the design.
Any other options of loading this website any faster other than changing the design, and putting it into Dreamweaver?
And where do I add the preloader after I made it? The first fla file?

If by "converted" you mean that you've converted the trailer to a normal project using the menu option File>Convert to Project, then YES it is still possible to edit the Credits Title.
In the converted project, double-click on the blue Title bar that sits above the background clip. In the Viewer, double-click on the text you wish to change (or highlight text by dragging over it). Now you can replace the highlighted text by typing in the new text. You can also change fonts and font colours.
It's always good practice to duplicate the Trailer before converting it. To do this, while in Project Library view, click on the Trailer name in the Library then select File>Duplicate Project. A copy will appear in the Library with the same name as the Trailer, but with the number 1 appended. You can rename this copy as desired. Now, convert the duplicate to a standard project and continue with your editing as required. You now have the original Trailer in template form (which can be further edited), and can duplicate it again if required.

New iMac running 10.10.1 frequently pauses, way too slow

I recently bought a 27 inch iMac, installed Yosemite, and migrated my files by time machine from a 5 year old macbook Pro running Snow Leopard. Since updating to 10.10.1, I frequently get the spinning beachball while I wait to continue, and everything seems much slower than it should. Safari downloads take forever, compared to Firefox. I ran an EtreCheck report pasted below. I tried some easy fixes like removing desktop clutter, reducing transparency, but that doesn't affect the overall slowness. Any solutions welcome!
Problem description:
Installed Yosemite on new iMac, migrating from snow leopard on an older macbook pro. Instead of being fast, processes frequently pause for bit while the beachball spins, then resume. Way too slow, much slower than my old macbook pro.

Built In application "YouTube" Is Way too slow!

Hey guys, I'm new here btw, so hi to all.
When i watch videos on youtube built in app IT TAKES FOREVER! to buffer the videos, I'm using WI-FI and my net connection is 20mb, I would love to use it but it just takes toooooo long to buffer it would take me 4-5 minute to watch a one minute clip, Any help you'll be my new idol!
The strange this is though, on my computer they load in literally seconds if not instantly are are completely buffered in under 5 seconds for almost any video, yet i could hardly watch a 2 minute youtube video, it buffers then 20 seconds later it stops and it won't supering buffer, i press play nothing happens, it just like it either WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too slow or it stops buffering completely, all i know is with youtube being such a big feature, it is almost useless by the terrible coding, or what ever the problem is to make it soo slow, i hear so much people talking about youtube and there iphone but mine is just too painfully slow to watch(and no 100% not my connection)

Is there any youtube settings??? Can any setting be changed which relate to youtube? And is it possible to watch youtube through safari and not through the standard application?
NO, there are no settings. Flash will not play in Safari yet, but there is a workaround using VideoHamster.
Here are a couple of Flash YouTube videos on my server that I converted to QT with CosmoPod. How do they load for you? I have a 1M up cable connection. They should start loading and playing after a few seconds. YouTube videos start playing after about 5 seconds on mine.

My Macbook Pro is too slow!

I am only running Firefox, Papers2 and Pages and 3.99GB of my 4GB ram is being used up. A detailed description of my system I took with EtreCheck is below.

First, for changing my question to the right forum. I am new on this and wasn't aware I was in the wrong forum.
Secondly, even though my initial question is not answered as in: I just want to remove Classic, what you say is right. I think now, after writing my long question and seeing your answers, that I should start from scratch.
To answer your question, I bought the new drive to be able to store and back up into DVDs and CDs all the photographs and movies that are still in the computer. I also need to make CDs of my portfolio since I am trying to find a new job and buying a new Mac at this point is out of the question. To upgrade the computer: I just do not have use for OS 9 anymore; I cannot upgrade to the latest Java, Safari or have issues with Flash or other programs; the programs that I have and need will still run perfectly fine or better in Leopard. And even if I could buy another computer I would still like to hang onto this computer for a while.

Hi, Im trying to edit some mp3 files in separated tracks in GB on my NEW Macbook Air 2013 with 4gb ram and 128 flash drive, this files are between 170mb and 221 MB, so this message comes on: disk is too slow. How much free disk space do you have? Keep at least 10 GB disk space free for the operating system as working space, better more.
Try to lock all tracks that you are currently not using, while you are editing.
Close all other applications and reboot, before starting to work.
If the problem persists, you may have a problem with incompatible audio drivers. Then I'd test from a different user account, to check, if there is a general problem.

Custom cursor is too slow in FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE

My custom cursor is fast in window mode (even maximized) but not in fullscreen where it is really slow.
Is there a solution to this?

Thanks for your answer.
I have put together a simple test case (see attached zip file) and the custom cursor is still "too slow to be usable" in fullscreen mode. Run it and see that the cursor is fast in window mode. Then hit ctrl+enter to go into fullscreen and see how slow the cursor becomes.

IPhoto Gallery Uploads, Web Browsers Comments "Script too slow"

I have been using iWeb in the past to share my pictures with friends. So when I could see I could use iPhoto to not only share them but let people download near full versions I scrapped the iWeb site I used so people could go to my Gallery to view or download.
Now, I have well 40 Album and uploaded them all which used about half my 20GB iDisk (but thats mainly why I subscribed so dont mind). The problem is that the site flashes up an error message when you use even this most up-to-date version of "Safari", warning the user that the Scrip is too slow and the browser is in danger of hanging. Which 50% of the time it does.
Does anyone know how to solve this or is it just a limitation of MobileMe thats yet to be resolved as thats one of the functions of the site I thought and 40+ Albums is not that OTT.

Start with a rebuild:
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

Safari 5 too Slow

Hi, Im using Safari 5 and I have to problems, one I a Web developer so Im trying with <video> tag (html5) and when I play a movie it spends like 50 minutes to load I used a extenseion on Safari to convert You tube flash player into html5 but it spend a lot of time to load and I want to enjoy these cool features of html5, Second: The reader its too slow I cant even see any Article because it takes a lot of Time to load and is impossible to scroll down without closing it.

If you upgrade to SL, make and back up all your important files first.
Bear in mind, upgrading from one Mac OS X to the next may not have any effect on how fast Flash / HTML 5 content streams.

MBA 1.7 i5, 4GB too slow

Please help. This MBA 1.7 i5, 4GB is WAY too slow. CPU is maxed and fan always runs.
Internet on Chrome, programs, etc. Tried SMC reboot several times. Tried removing Flash. Tried deletin programs.

First, the fan is always going to run on every Macbook, Macbook Pro and Air. It is normal. The speed may vary, depending on load.
As far as being too slow? There must be something wrong, unless these programs you are running are intense gaming, 3D modeling, or video editing...... or have a whole bunch of simultaneous apps taxing that 4 GB. All of which are not indicated in your post.
I find my MBA to be rather peppy for 95% of what I do. Yes, it does make me wish it had Pro power when doing video conversions or other editing tasks, but not enough that I would ever "wish I had bought a MBP".
I'd say look at your Activity Monitor to see exactly what is consuming resources so intently as to slow your system.

Site starts too slow

Hi all,
I am pretty newbie but managed to make a flash portfolio website.
But the site is too slow for the first time downloaded, then added preloader at the first frame of the scene.
Yes preloader works, but it just starts too slow, nothing happens for the very first 10-20 sec.
So my question is, If I make a different swf file only for preloader, and load all contents from that, does it helps make it faster?
If so, is there any good link for tutorial or sample files?
I don't want force users to watching grey screen for 10-20 sec

4MB isn't huge, but it isn't small either. The FLVPlaybacks won't be too heavy (I think they'll run about 60KB total), the files they play might be, but those should be external to the file. The images are probably heavyweights at that size and might be contributing all the weight. You can go into your Publish Settings in the Flash section and select the Generate Size Report option to get a detailed breakdown of what contributes what weight to the file when you publish it.
What you might try is to remove the images temporarily and see how things improve without them.
If you haven't optimized the images before bringing them into Flash you should, and if you don't need them all available at once, then you should consider loading them dynamically after the file is already entertaining a visitor rather than allowing the visitor time to decide if they wanna leave.
