Flash Media 3 and Blogger

I have just downloaded the free version of Flash Media 3. I
have a blogger blog, and want to use FM3 to stream flash files to
my blog. Is this possible? I would appreciate any links that would
provide a step by step approach.

what version of windows are you running?.......try shutting down fms service before making changes.......I know in windows 7 you have to right click choose properties of the folder fms.ini resides in and adjust the security settings.

Above is the error that I started receiving this morning. The phone wasn't plugged into anything and appeared to have turned off due to a low battery. The phone was unresponsive when I hit the lock screen button or home button. When I plugged it into a wall outlet with the original USB cord and wall adapter, it initially showed that it had a low battery. After a few minutes once it had enough power to start, the Apple logo displayed normally for a few seconds and then the screen went dim and displayed the above error.
I then pushed and help the lock screen button and home button together until it turned off to hard reset it. I held the home button and plugged it into my Mac Mini so that it would go into recovery mode.
When iTunes finally gives up, it will throw an unexpected error of either 4005 or 4013

I've seen some actual Apple employees post on the discussions but nothing useful; the typical have you read the troubleshooting steps, here's some links to error messages, etc...that don't explain what this issue is and what I can do to resolve it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Any physical or liquid damage to the iPhone?
First try a reset:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
- the iPhonw qill turn off(keep holding) then as soon as you see the Apple logo appear release both buttons
If the issue remains then try plugging it into a PC/Mac with iTunes and see if it will be recognised. If it is recognised then back it up and then restore to factory settings. If all steps fail then [book an appointment at an Apple Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

Please help, need to import .swf/flash media

Hi all, have a little issue here. I have some SWF flash media and I want to bring it into imovie so I can edit it more effectivley then with qt. However, I have been haveing alot of trouble, most time I only get the audio part of it and no image. Most of the media is widescreen, I was able to export the media in qt to dv stream and then import it, however, it lost its widescreen look and was kinda squished from the sides if that makes sense, if anybody has expeirence with this type of media, please help.

I've never "dared" to convert .swf, but I read a lot about problems doing so... probably the Quicktime section of this forum is better to ask...
maybe a much easier workaround is using tools as SnapzPro from Ambrosia; this tool claims to "record" any screen content (and audio) and convert it directly into any wanted format (as dv)...
just a thought.......

Excessive Heat generated viewing Flash Media

I have a Apple Powerbook 15" w/1.6 Ghz, 2 GB SDRAM, OSX
10.4.10
I loaded a temp tool to read processor heat in real time.
With machine at idle, the temp is right at about 100F
Go to any video with Flash Media, and the temp reaches 155F.
I just checked the version of Flash Player, and it is V9
Processor Activity Monitor is also maxed out.
Why is it cheap portable DVD players have no issues with heat
or huge processor loads?
It's not enjoyable watching ones Motherboard melt every
soldered socket just to watch a micro video.

Your laptop is not overheating at all. If those were Celsius,
then we have a reason to be worried. Laptops are not the best for
heat management, you have no reason to be worried. Your temps are
fine. The activity monitor is maxing out because whatever you are
watching is obviously very processor intensive, and you are lacking
in that department. Overall, you are fine, and this isn't a Flash
Player issue. Why are cheap portable DVD player able to handle
this, well, that is what they are made for, and solely for that
purpose. They play DVDs and that is it. You have a computer, with a
slew of moving parts, and processes running in the background. If
your computer only played DVDs, than that would be all it is worth,
but you can play DVDs, burn DVDs, surf the web install
applications, the list goes on and on.

Windows Vista and Flash Media Server Streaming Problems

My company recently started using Flash Media Server to
stream audio and video content.
My boss just installed Windows Vista Ultimate and now no
streaming content will play at all. Simple Flash animations work,
but nothing that accesses the Flash Media Server for content. I've
uninstalled and reinstalled multiple versions of the Flash Player
on his machine but nothing seems to work. I also tried the new
"Reset" feature in IE that is supposed to return it to it's
shipping state and that didn't work. I navigated to the "System 32"
folder and ran the Flash Updater EXE. I downloaded and installed
all of the available updates through "Windows Update".
I also tested Flash Objects that stream video on Adobe.com
and they don't play either. Has anyone heard of this happening or
know what I need to do to fix it? I don't know if this is a bug in
the Flash Player or with Windows Vista.

Flash player and Win media player for iphone 3G?

There's any way to download an iphone 3G version of Flash player and Window media player. I am trying to hear a radio station on a web site but need those plugins to hear it. (www.lax.fm)

No. You cannot download or install anything to iphone, unless it is offered in the App Store on itunes.
Adobe does not make a flash player for iphone.

Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3 and Dazzle 170

Hi, I have a trouble.
I'm working with: Vista Home Premium 32 Bit, Dazzle DVC 179 Rev.1.2, PCLEUSB2, Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3. I work with Firewire 1394 with Sony Pd100 Camcorder, and and Encoder 3 sounds well (PAL), with USB cam Encoder 3 sounds well (PAL), when I choice Dazzle from the menù, Encoder 3 tell to me: VIDEO FORMAT NOT SUPPORTED - Video format provided by video capture device is not supported by this application. (PAL or NTSC or SECAM).
What can I do for work with this device?

WAMP and Flash Media Server

I currently have WAMP(Windows, Apache,MySQL,PHP) installed as
my primary server; I do not want to change this. What I would like
to do is use Flash Media Server as my primary streaming server and
be able to host media files on it. I have been informed that if I
broadcast from the Media Server on Port 80 I will run into trouble
when I start the WAMP server (because it works on Port 80). The
resolution that I've been told is to put the Media Server on Port
:8080. What I am trying to find out is if any one here is running
the Flash Media Server as a second server using Port 8080 or is it
smarter to just assign Flash Media Server it's own port. By the
way, I am trying to set up a test environment that will replicate
what the real server and application will have to do. Any advice is
greatly appreciated. Thank You

Double-byte Chinese characters between Flash Media Server and WebLogic 9.2

i have installed a FMS (Flash Media Server 4.0 developer edition) and a weblogic server on linux. The two servers communicate with each other via WebService (Axis2 on Weblogic 9.2). i can send some XML message from FMS to the Weblogic server and receive message. but the returned message from the Weblogic server is as follows:

Flash media encoder always disconnect and reconnect

flash media encoder 3.2 always disconnect and reconnect to both primary and secondary urls every about 10 minutes while using with wowza server

Adobe Connect server includes its own flash media server. in
that case;
There can be some conflicts for port/service registration

Flash media player and proxy

Not sure if this is the correct forum to use for this question... so if I'm in the wrong place - let me know.
Am streaming video using a Flash media server and the FLV Playback component. Actionscript 2. Our company goes to the internet through a proxy. Here's what's happening: When we try to play the video from our workstations the player tries to go directly to the server instead of going through the proxy. It fails a couple of times then may or may not go through the proxy. Is there a way to make the FLV Playback component go directly through the proxy without waiting for it to fail? Can't find code for that?

The videos work fine for me with Safari 2.0.2 and OS X 10.4.3. The section of the help file you quoted appears to be referring to a corporate firewall setup rather than a typical home setup - you shouldn't need to change any of the defaults for Windows Media Player.
A Google search for that error code you received mentions Flip4Mac in a couple of places - do you have that installed?
If so, try disabling it to see if that is the cause of your issues.
